Dias: We'll fight with everything we've got to try and win the FA Cup
Ruben Dias says City will go into Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest armed with a burning desire to take one step closer to lifting the famous trophy once again.
The Wembley showdown with Nuno Espirito Santo's side will be City's seventh successive FA Cup semi-final – a record-breaking stat that bears witness to the Club's passion for the competition.

City have also reached the last two finals – beating Manchester United 2-1 in the 2023 showpiece en-route to the Treble before then being edged out by United in last season's all-Manchester Cup final repeat.
Dias was part of the City squad that tasted Wembley success two years ago – and looking ahead to Sunday's Forest clash, he made plain how important FA Cup success would be this season.

'The FA Cup, I have won it already, but many in the team haven't, and we all share the same ambition, and we know how important it is to do it.

'It is a really good Cup to win, so we are very focused on it.'
Given the myriad injuries and hurdles City have had to overcome this term, Dias' impact and leadership qualities have arguably never been more crucial.
The 27-year-old's example and encouragement to the rest of his colleagues has helped galvanise City – especially over the past month or so with Guardiola's side going into Sunday's clash unbeaten in all competitions since early March.

That said all of Dias' leadership qualities have been evident ever since he joined City back in September 2020.
And for his part, the Portugal international says he is only too happy to try provide a lead to his team-mates.
'I feel like whoever is a leader in the team or whoever is not, I always feel like everyone has to be a leader of their own selves,' Dias added.

Bayern Munich held a meeting with Rafael Leão's representatives
Kicker report that Bayern Munich representatives held a meeting last week with the entourage of Milan forward Rafael Leão (25). With no new contract for Leroy Sané and Serge Gnabry's contract expiring in 2026, the Bundesliga champions exploring their options for reinforcements in the wide areas. Per the report, Leão is not averse to joining Bayern, who held a meeting with the Portuguese's representatives at the end of last week with the Rekordmeister showing genuine interest. Advertisement Leão – who scored 12 goals and provided 13 assists in 50 games for Milan last season – holds a contract with the Lombardy club until 2028. However, although there is interest from both the club and player, a potential stumbling block is Milan's valuation. Kicker cite Italian sources who claim that Milan want in excess of €100m for their prized asset, potentially too much for Bayern Munich who have also been priced out of a move for Florian Wirtz. Football transfer rumours: Manchester United to replace Fernandes with Gonçalves?
The Rumour Mill is back in action, filtering absolutely nothing from the gossipmongers and pumping it straight into your eyes. To heighten the excitement, there is not one but two transfer windows this summer. You lucky lot. Matheus Cunha's £62.5m move from Wolves has ignited what is to be a busy off-season for Ruben Amorim as he attempts to turn the Manchester United behemoth around. It could become somewhat more complicated if Bruno Fernandes decides he wants to test himself in jump ship to the Saudi Premier League with Al-Hilal. If that does become the case, one bit of tittle-tattle doing the rounds is that Amorim will return to his former employers to sign Pedro Gonçalves, who once had a gloriously forgettable spell at Wolves. Advertisement Related: Manchester United confirm agreement to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolves In a summer where plenty are leaving Bayer Leverkusen, they look set to make one signing. Brentford and the Bundesliga club have agreed a deal for the goalkeeper Mark Flekken. There has been plenty of discussion to find a fee that is acceptable for both sides but every is finally happy with the outcome. It means Brentford need a new No 1 and they have Caoimhin Kelleher with an £18m already in place for the Republic of Ireland international. Inside the Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen Venn diagram is a deal for Florian Wirtz. The Premier League champions have made a couple of offers for the German midfielder without success. Erik ten Hag would like any deal to include Harvey Elliott and Jarell Quansah in order to progress things. Another Liverpool person of interest is Milos Kerkez but they are yet to make contact with Bournemouth over the left-back. Chelsea are closing in on Liam Delap but do not want to stop there when it comes to signing the best of young English talent. The Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite is of increasing interest to Enzo Maresca and the Blues recruitment machine after impressing at Goodison Park. Advertisement David Moyes will not be keen on losing Branthwaite as he is targeting a period of squad strengthening. One potential target is Brighton's Matt O'Riley who enjoyed and indifferent first season on the south coast under Fabian Hürzeler, who could be open to letting him go. It should be a fun couple of months in the free transfer market and La Liga sides are always pretty savvy when it comes to not spending cash. Barcelona are supposedly having a natter with Thomas Partey and his representatives about a move to Catalonia. Sunderland might be back in the Premier League but a few of their stars are being linked with moves away. Jobe Bellingham is being tracked by Eintracht Frankfurt and Dan Neil is being linked with a £15m move to Roma. Down in the Championship, centre-backs are in demand. The Bournemouth defender Chris Mepham, who spent the season on loan at Sunderland, is wanted by Sheffield United, while Derby are keen on Wolves' Craig Dawson. Wrexham are plotting a triple threat of deals. Tottenham's Ben Davies, Leicester's Danny Ward and Brentford's Myles Peart-Harris are all on the list of targets.

Bayern hold fresh talks over Leão transfer
Following their failure to land Florian Wirtz, Bayern Munich have shifted focus to alternative targets - with AC Milan's Rafael Leão emerging as one of the main candidates. According to Kicker, Bayern officials held talks with Leão's representatives in Munich last week, with the Portuguese international not averse to making the move to Bavaria. Advertisement However, questions remain over whether Bayern can strike a deal with Milan. New head coach Massimiliano Allegri is said to be determined to keep Leão, and a potential transfer fee of €100 million has been floated. That figure is in the same region Bayern were reportedly willing to pay for Wirtz, who was seen as their top target. It's difficult to imagine the club valuing Leão at a similar level. Still, despite the obstacles, Leão's reported openness to a move provides Bayern with a solid starting point as they consider their next steps in the transfer market.
