Zendaya's Met Gala 2025 "Bridal" Look Is A Must-See
This year's Met Gala exhibit is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. The theme is "Tailored for You." It's based on Monica L. Miller's 2009 book, Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.
Last year, Zendaya solidified her title as an undisputed princess of the Met Gala (Rihanna is the queen) when she wore not one or two but three amazing looks.
As a co-chair for the 2024 Met Gala, Zendaya's first gown was a custom Maison Margiela Artisanal by John Galliano.
Phillip Treacy designed Zendaya's second gown for Alexander McQueen.
Once inside, the Dune actor switched into a glittery custom-made gown by Celia Kritharioti.
So, of course, we expected a masterpiece for this year's Met Gala and Zendaya delivered.
Zendaya wore a white custom, 3-piece Louis Vuitton suit that most certainly channeled her bridal era, considering her recent engagement to long-time beau and Spider-Man costar, Tom Holland.
The suit was designed by Pharrell Williams, who served as co-chair for this year's event.
Her look is seemingly an homage to several iconic fashion moments by very famous women in suits, including Diana Ross's iconic look in the 1975 movie Mahogany.
Funny enough, Zendaya actually arrived at the same time as Diana Ross for this year's Met Gala and had a full-on fangirl moment.

Diana made her triumphant return to the Met Gala in a dress that fittingly looked like the final evolution of Zendaya's outfit.
Another apparent homage is to the bridal white suit worn by Bianca Jagger at her 1971 wedding to Mick Jagger in St. Tropez. It's a fitting comparison since Zendaya will soon marry a famous British celebrity.
Perhaps Tom pays homage to Mick's suit at his wedding?

One former actor wouldn't mind starring in Denis Villeneuve's 007 movie. Dune and Arrival director Denis Villeneuve has been tapped to direct the next James Bond movie for Amazon MGM Studios. This comes after the company obtained full creative control over the 007 franchise through a joint venture deal with Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. Speaking with Radio Times, via Variety, Pierce Brosnan said he'd be open to returning to the James Bond role should Villeneuve have 'something up his sleeve.' It could be lots of laughs. Bald caps, prosthetics… who knows?' Brosnan's version of 007 debuted in 1995's GoldenEye, which was directed by Martin Campbell. He then returned for three sequels — 1997's Tomorrow Never Dies, 1999's The World Is Not Enough, and 2002's Die Another Day — before Daniel Craig then inherited the role in 2006's Casino Royale. While Villeneuve's James Bond movie will likely cast an all-new James Bond, there's always a chance that Brosnan could cameo in the film or have some sort of minor supporting role. He still appears in movies frequently, as he'll soon be seen playing Ron Ritchie in The Thursday Murder Club, which arrives later this month. Brosnan also said about Villeneuve's movie, 'I have been listening to the drumbeat of expectation of who's going to be the next James Bond. There are many great candidates out there, and I'm sure they're going to make it a spectacle of delight.' Amazon MGM Studios' James Bond movie does not yet have a release date, though it will likely still be a few years away, as Villeneuve is currently working on Dune 3. Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner Photographed in Budapest
Looks like Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have reunited after weeks apart! The couple haven't been seen together since a group trip to St. Tropez in July, prompting some fans to worry they'd broken up even though it's public knowledge that Timmy's currently in Europe filming Dune: Part 3. But nope! Very much still together, at least based on a photo of them seemingly out and about in Budapest, where Dune: Part 3 is filming. The sighting comes just a few days after a source told People that Kylie had visited the actor at least once on set—so it's possible that this is a newly surfaced old pic from that trip, or that it's a new one. Either way, they are clearly still together! "They haven't seen each other for a few weeks only because Timothée's been filming Dune in a studio in Budapest, and Kylie's been working too," a source told People on August 15, clarifying that "she visited him in July." The insider also noted that "even though Kylie has a private jet, the flight is still 12 hours. She's a mom and she works as well. She has a lot of responsibilities in LA.
