Beauty deal of the week
YSL Black Opium remains an iconic perfume - and we know where to bag the newest edition for its cheapest price.
The YSL BLack Opium Le Parfum offers a more vanilla-heavy fragrance that has been hailed as "intoxicating" in reviews, with a 50ml now half-price at Boots after being dropped from £115 to £57.50.
Massive saving aside, it's the cheapest it can be bought for at the moment, as rival retailers Superdrug, Lookfantastic and The Perfume Shop still stock it at full-price.
This interpretation of the iconic perfume was only launched in 2022, with its original floral gourmand fragrance still offering its famed notes that include pear accord, green mandarin, orange flower petals, jasmine sambac and cinnamon.
However, the iconic coffee accord has been twisted with four different, yet still complimentary, notes of vanilla, which is said to be its most important ingredient, to create an "unexpected smoothness, with uncompromising intensity."
Meanwhile, the unique glossy bottle that has been crafted from a precious black stone, with its dazzling glitter emblem at the heart, eludes to the luxuriousness of the fragrance contained within.
As for the YSL Black Opium Le Parfum, Boots shoppers wanting to take advantage of the half-price discount will be glad to hear it has amassed a 4.7 rating from thousands of customers who say it "lasts all day" and "literally turns heads" when it is worn.
One five-star review read: "I love the fragrance. I used a lot the first time, not realising how intense it was. It lasts all day and continues to smell great. I literally turn heads when I wear it."
Don't miss Boots' half-price discount on the YSL Black Opium Le Parfum (50ml) that is now £57.50, down from £115.
Suitable for seasoned tanners and newbies, this water-based formula that is said to "effortlessly glide" onto the skin, creating a golden glow within four to eight hours, while skin-loving ingredients encourage hydration.
These aren't the only products worth a mention as there is an eyeshadow palette to create a bronzed smoky eye, alongside a 'firming' leg serum for confident bar leg days and a pre-shampoo treatment to banish dry, brittle hair.
Beauty fans can bag themselves over £163 worth of skin, hair and body products for just £50 by purchasing The Summer Luxe Edit Beauty Box on the Next website now.

Emmerdale teens targeted by villain in dark new story
If anyone was unsure that Ray (Joe Absolom) is a shady character, the way he is about to target a vulnerable Emmerdale teen will help solidify things in any questioning mind. The fact he's a menacing drug dealer is a clue to this man's darkness, but he'll demonstrate just how deep his levels go when his young employee Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) tells him no. Dylan was last seen leaving the village heading for rehab with the promise of an improved life but returned by doing over Moira Dingle's (Natalie J Robb) barn on Ray's say so, only to end up getting stabbed by Kyle (Huey Quinn) brandishing a pitchfork. Now he's in a bad way with an infected wound hiding out in the Cricket Pavillion and it's dawned on him that working for Ray isn't the smartest move. April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) tries to get him to see a doctor, but he refuses, so they go with the next best option – to raid the vets for medical supplies. In their mission to do their own surgery, Paddy (Dominic Brunt) catches them, but takes pity on the pair and helps Dylan himself. He even offers him a bed for the night. Ray catches up with Dylan and tells him about some future jobs he's got lined up and in turn Dylan shows him the stash of drugs he's got. But that's as far as Dylan wants to take it. Coronation Street confirms unexpected new love interest for Jenny
Coronation Street favourite Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) is a woman who's not been lucky in love over the years – but she doesn't give up hope. The former landlady of the Rovers is currently working at the Kabin, after being forced to give up the pub to Carla (Alison King). She and husband Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley) took up the license of the pub in 2018. After Johnny's death in 2021, Jenny continued to be landlady and her stepdaughter Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) helped her run the business. In 2023 Jenny and Daisy bought the pub from its owners using money they took from a secret bank account that killer Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) had used to stash money stolen from Carla. One of Stephen's victims was Jenny's former partner Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost). A lot of people disapproved of Jenny and Leo's age-gap romance but it was perfectly genuine on both sides, so Jenny was devastated when Leo mysteriously vanished and was later discovered to have been murdered by Stephen. Jenny and Daisy's relationship turned sour prior to Daisy leaving Weatherfield. When she and her mum Christina (Amy Robbins) heard that Jenny planned to buy the pub from Carla using money inherited from Daisy's father, they vowed to destroy her. Their plan involved setting up a fake dating profile of a man called Dom, who catfished Jenny and broke her heart once again. So could the former landlady be due for some better luck in the romance department? When a pipe bursts in the Kabin, Jenny is badly in need of a hero with a set of plumbing tools and some basic DIY knowledge to stop a catastrophic flood. A hero humbly steps up, and it's none other than George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley). He gallantly and competently fixes Jenny's leak and she's thrilled by his manly prowess and offers to cook him dinner as a way of saying thank you. More Trending George would seem to be the ideal man for Jenny. He's single since Eileen (Sue Cleaver) left for Thailand, has his own business and is always nicely turned out as befits Weatherfield's premier independent funeral director. There's a problem, though. Jenny's gutted to learn that Glenda (Jodie Prenger) has set George up on a dating app – and he's already had some interest. Clearly Jenny has some competition. Alfie commits a national atrocity by trying to get rid of an EastEnders legend
Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) has tried to do something truly, truly awful in EastEnders – and failed miserably. Wanting to make his mark on The Queen Vic, he prepared to get rid of Walford icon Tracey the barmaid (Jane Slaughter). Silent Tracey has graced the BBC soap since the very first episode – becoming quite the fan-favourite during that time. The character is, of course, one of the many named supporting characters that help cement Albert Square as a real life area in East London. Originally operating a flower stall on the Bridge Street Market, she was taken on as barmaid by Frank Butcher (Mike Reid) in 1989. Her presence in the pub often helps explain other characters' absence from work, allowing them to be at the centre of the drama elsewhere. On a number of occasions that position has been threatened, though without fail, our Trace' always worms her way back into the fold. In tonight's episode, just 24 hours after learning he was the new landlord of the new pub, Alfie decided that he was going to have to make some staffing cuts to be able to afford their new venture. Waltzing into Walford East, he told Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) that he was resigning from his role at the Minute Mart. In disbelief, Ravi told him that he actually didn't have a job to resign from after doing a disappearing act some weeks ago. As viewers know, he headed to Barcelona to track down estranged step-daughter Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan), to no avail. Alfie tried to sweeten the deal, saying he had a perfect replacement. …Tracey! Ravi was furious that he was prepared to ditch such a valued member of staff, who has given decades of her life to the boozer. Nevertheless, Alf' continued with his decision to ditch her and headed back to the pub to break the difficult news. Tracey brushed him off, saying that she'd turned down Ravi's job offer and was more than happy to stay at The Vic. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Enter Alfie's wife Kat (Jessie Wallace), who said she'd grab a bottle of wine and take Tracey upstairs so that they could discuss it properly. Alfie was sure that this would do the trick.
