While her portrayal is receiving praise, what's also shaping her journey in a beautiful way is the strong camaraderie she shares with her co-stars—especially with actor
.
Opening up about her connection with the cast, Prisha shared, 'I bond with everyone very naturally, to be honest—touch wood. Whether it's my onscreen family or Rishank, who is my co-actor Karan Vohra, I gel with him very naturally.'
Although there's an age gap between them, Prisha shared that the bond she has with Karan is truly special.
'I don't even know where it comes from, especially considering we're not from the same age group, but still, there's something very special in the connection. I see a good friend and strong support system in him,' she added.
Karan, according to Prisha, has become something of a mentor and guide. 'There are times when I sit with him during our breaks, and we talk about so many things. He shares a lot about the industry, how things work, and how to handle different situations on set.
He's just amazing.'
While Karan may be a pillar of support, Prisha's warmth extends to the rest of the cast too. 'I also bond really well with my on-screen mother, father, sister, and, of course, Hiten Sir. These are the people I mostly spend time with on set, and I always feel very charged up and positive when I'm around them.'
Still, she admits that her deepest connection is with Karan due to the amount of screen time they share.

'So honestly, I can't name just one person. But since Karan is my co-actor and someone I spend a lot of screen time with, I feel I can really rely on him. He fits in perfectly, and we share a great comfort level. So please don't give me a diplomatic tag (haha), but it's true that I genuinely have a very good relationship with most of my co-actors.
They are all such good energy-givers, and I love them all equally,' she laughed.
For Prisha, these relationships are more than just off-screen camaraderie—they deeply influence her performance.
'My bond with everyone on set has grown stronger over time, especially because of the kind of response they gave to my performance and the valuable inputs they shared. It really helped me tap into my character better,' she reflected.
One of the most impactful experiences for her has been performing with senior actor Iqbal Khan, who plays her father in the show. 'Whenever I do my scenes with Iqbal Sir, it feels so real. He's such a natural actor that it honestly feels like I'm talking to my real father.
That kind of energy and passion from a co-actor makes all the difference.'
As a debutante, Prisha approaches her work with humility and curiosity. 'Since this is my debut show, I'm here mainly to absorb and learn as much as I can. I'm like that little kid who would sit next to a senior actor just to listen to them talk and learn from their experience. Be it Kruttika Ma'am, Hiten Tejwani Sir, or Disha Ma'am — I enjoy learning from them all.'
Summing up her experience so far, she said, 'I have a lot of respect for each and every person working around me, both as artists and individuals. I keep learning from them every day, and I always try to incorporate those learnings into my work.'
With her grounded mindset and emotional intelligence, Prisha Dhatwalia is not just embracing fame—she's building a career rooted in connection, gratitude, and passion.

World Environment Day is a reminder to care for our planet: Sheetal Maulik

Sheetal Maulik, TV actress who is essaying the role of Priya in Meri Bhavya Life feels the need for unity to protect nature and build a cleaner, greener future because "a healthy Earth begins with us," she says, adding, " World Environment Day is observed on June 5, serving as a reminder for all of us to care for our planet." She adds, "Every small step we take makes a big difference. We need to save the environment because it's the foundation of life on Earth, providing essential resources like air, water and food. However, human activities are degrading the environment at an alarming rate, threatening our very existence." Sheetal says that even simple actions can make a significant difference. "For instance, ditching plastic bottles and opting for reusable ones can reduce plastic waste and pollution. Similarly, using public transport, carpooling, or cycling can decrease air pollution and carbon emissions ," she says. Sheetal, who has worked in shows like Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka, Suhaagan, Deewaniyat says, "Reducing meat consumption, using energy-efficient appliances, and recycling can also contribute to environmental conservation. By incorporating these habits into our daily lives, we can collectively mitigate the damage and work towards a more sustainable future." Shifting the onus on human beings to understand the issue, she says, "People fail to understand that our body's internal environment is as important as is the external. So I truly believe that meditation and being with oneself for at least 10 mins a day can make us better thinkers and it will only contribute to the outer world."

70 fall sick at Erragadda mental hospital; food poisoning suspected

Hyderabad: About 70 patients at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH), Erragadda, fell sick due to suspected food poisoning, with two of these inmates shifted to the Osmania General Hospital (OGH) with complaints of severe diarrhoea. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now While there was suspicion over one patient dying early on Tuesday morning due to alleged food poisoning, officials at the Erragadda facility refuted the claim. They maintained that the patient died due to a cardiac arrest. Borabanda police registered a case under Section 194 (of suspicious death) of the BNSS on the complaint of IMH, Erragadda Superintendent Anita Rayirala. According to the complaint, Karan, 33, a destitute, was referred to IMH by a magistrate of Bhupalpally in August 2023. Due to ill health, he died on Tuesday. "It is suspected that he suffered a heart attack and his death has nothing to do with food poisoning," said M Surender, SHO, Borabanda. Sharing details about the 70 other patients, Rayirala said that they started complaining of loose motion and vomiting on Monday afternoon. "All the patients were promptly examined and given adequate hydration based on clinical assessment. No severe complication was noted. We are still probing to ascertain if it is because of food poisoning," the superintendent said, adding, "We have sent the stool and vomit samples of the patients to the Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM) for microbiological tests to check if there was any contamination in the food and water given to the patients. " Meanwhile, OGH doctors said that the two inmates – T Satish (18) and D Karan Reddy (35) – admitted at the facility are now stable. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now "The patients had severe diarrhoea when they were admitted. However, their condition stabilised by Tuesday evening. They are out of danger," said a doctor attending to them. While officials including Hyderabad Collector Anudeep Durishetty and Director of Medical Education (DME) Narendra Kumar rushed to the IMH to take stock of the situation, health minister Damodar Raja Narasimha ordered an inquiry into the case.
