When Kareena Kapoor Opened Up About Her Relationship With Shahid Kapoor
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor's short-lived romance has always intrigued Bollywood fans. The duo, who reportedly fell in love while shooting for their 2004 film Fida, shared a relationship that was closely followed by the media and their admirers. Years later, a throwback interview of Kareena surfaced where she opened up about her bond with Shahid and what made it truly special.
In a conversation with Cosmopolitan, Kareena admitted that the most cherished part of her relationship with Shahid was the comfort of simplicity. She revealed, 'I get to be normal and do normal things." The actress explained that despite living in the limelight, it was the ordinary, everyday moments spent with Shahid that mattered most to her.
Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor's Early Days of Love
When asked about the biggest thing she had ever done for Shahid in their relationship, Kareena was honest about the fact that they were still in the early stages of dating at the time. The couple reportedly kept their romance under wraps, mostly because of their hectic film schedules.
Kareena also confessed that she never rode Shahid's bike, admitting she was too scared. The actress said she had a fear of both heights and speed, which kept her away from that adventurous side of Shahid.
Though their real-life romance came to an end in 2007, the same year saw them deliver one of Bollywood's most beloved romantic films, Imtiaz Ali's Jab We Met. Their chemistry as Geet and Aditya remains iconic and continues to win hearts even today.
The former couple later appeared together in Milenge Milenge (2010), a remake of the Hollywood classic Serendipity. However, unlike Jab We Met, the film failed to create the same impact and did not fare well with audiences.
After parting ways, both stars moved on to find lasting relationships. Kareena Kapoor Khan married Saif Ali Khan in 2012 and the power couple are now proud parents to two boys. Shahid Kapoor tied the knot with Mira Rajput in 2015 and together they are raising two children.

On the work front, Kareena was last seen in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again. She has now joined hands with acclaimed filmmaker Meghna Gulzar for her next film, Daayra. The project will also feature Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran in a pivotal role, making it one of the most awaited films in her lineup.
Shahid Kapoor's Next Film With Vishal Bhardwaj
Shahid Kapoor, who was last seen in Deva, is now collaborating with his longtime mentor Vishal Bhardwaj for an untitled action-thriller. The film also stars Animal fame Triptii Dimri and is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Fans can look forward to its worldwide theatrical release on December 5, 2025.

As per a Variety report, on Sunday, Ferrer's lawyers alleged that Baldoni is 'harassing" their client and trying to use his financial power to influence how she responds to Blake Lively's subpoena. Ferrer's lawyers said the 24-year-old actress only wants to stay out of the legal dispute between Baldoni and Lively. However, her involvement in the case escalated earlier this year when Lively's lawyers subpoenaed her in February and sought communications related to the case. The subpoena forced Ferrer to hire a lawyer and ask Baldoni's team, as her employer, to cover the costs. Things took a messy turn when, instead of cutting a cheque, Baldoni's team allegedly tried to make the financial guarantee conditional on influencing her legal strategy. Justin Baldoni's Team Accused of Influencing Isabela Ferrer's Legal Strategy As per reports, Ferrer's lawyer, Sanford Michelman, claimed that Baldoni's team cited a 'fake case" as a justification for why producers deserved to influence her strategy in the case. Michelman also accused them of twisting facts about Ferrer's role in the legal drama and even pushing him to accept a subpoena on behalf of his client. In her own filing, Ferrer is now asking the court to 'deny the motion in its entirety and impose appropriate sanctions against Baldoni," as per Variety. How Has Justin Baldoni's Team Responded? Baldoni's team pushed back hard and released texts from Ferrer where she once described him as a 'great director" and 'wonderful to work with." Baldoni's team argued that Ferrer started distancing herself from Baldoni only after his feud with Lively exploded publicly during the film's promotion. What Happened Between Blake Lively And Justin Baldoni? Their legal feud started after the Gossip Girl alum sued Baldoni for sexual harassment, claiming he retaliated against her after she spoke out, launching a hidden campaign to ruin her reputation. In December 2024, Lively filed a complaint, alleging that Baldoni created a hostile workplace through inappropriate sexual comments.
