OnePlus likely to launch Nord 5, Nord CE 5 next month: Expected specs, more

OnePlus is reportedly planning to launch two new models in the Nord 5 series, the OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE 5 on July 8. According to a report by Mint, specification details of the anticipated smartphones have surfaced online suggesting an imminent launch. The OnePlus Nord 5 smartphone is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400e whereas the Nord CE 5 may be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset.
Although the company has not yet officially confirmed the devices or their release timeline. Here is what you can expect from the smartphones:
OnePlus Nord 5: What to expect
According to the report, The Nord 5 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset. The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.74-inches display, similar to the Nord 4. The device is expected to feature a flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone may shift to a glass back and plastic frame.
An in-display fingerprint sensor is likely to be included.
The smartphone is expected to pack a 7,000mAh battery with support of a 100W charging.
For imaging, the Nord 5 is likely to have a dual rear camera set-up, featuring a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. At the front, there may be a 16MP camera sensor.
OnePlus Nord CE 5: What to expect
The OnePlus Nord CE 5 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset coupled with an 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone may sport a 6.7-inch flat OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
For the camera optics, the Nord CE 5 is expected to feature similar configuration as of Nord 5, featuring a 50MP primary sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP selfie shooter.
The Nord CE 5 may pack a slightly bigger battery than the Nord 5 with a 7,100mAh battery with an 80W charging support.

OnePlus' key tablet offerings include the OnePlus Pad 3 as well as the OnePlus Pad Lite. Both, OnePlus Pad 3 and OnePlus Pad Lite, are being manufactured in India as part of the brand's strategic partnership with Bhagwati Products Ltd, the mobile devices firm said in a statement. "This strategic partnership aligns with OnePlus' long-term vision for India and its recent Project Starlight initiative aimed at deepening local integration. As part of these efforts, OnePlus is ramping up its local manufacturing operations. "In addition to producing smartphones in India, the company has now started manufacturing its tablet products at BPL's flagship facility based in Greater Noida," the statement said. Being a key manufacturing partner to OnePlus, Bhagwati Products Ltd will provide dedicated support required to manufacture and localise the OnePlus tablet form factor for the Indian market. OnePlus India , CEO, Robin Liu said the collaboration with BPL marks a strategic milestone in the company's India journey towards deepening manufacturing capabilities and expanding our connected ecosystem. Synopsis Realme is set to launch its P4 series in India on August 20, 2025, featuring the P4 5G and P4 Pro 5G, both available on Flipkart and Realme's website. The P4 5G boasts a Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor and a 4,500-nit display, while the P4 Pro 5G features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and a brighter 6,500-nit curved display. Realme is gearing up to launch its new P4 series smartphones in India on August 20, 2025. Both the Realme P4 5G and P4 Pro 5G will be available through Flipkart and Realme's official website. The company has revealed key hardware details, positioning the two devices as strong contenders in the sub-₹30,000 standard Realme P4 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G processor, paired with a dedicated Pixelworks chip to enhance visual performance. It features a 6.77-inch HyperGlow AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a smooth 144 Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ certification. Despite featuring the same 7,000mAh battery and 80W charging setup as the standard model, it maintains a slim 7.68mm profile and supports 10W reverse charging. Realme notes that it can provide over eight hours of BGMI gameplay at 90 6.77-inch HyperGlow AMOLED 4D Curve+ display offers the same 144 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support but boosts local peak brightness to 6,500 nits. It also comes with 4,320 Hz high-frequency dimming and TÜV Rheinland eye-protection certification. With both smartphones priced under ₹30,000, Realme is clearly targeting flagship-level specifications at a more affordable price point.
