THIS Morning's secret cash cuts have been revealed amid ITV Daytime's strict budget cuts.
It appeared that the fledgling daytime show had come out largely unscathed in ITV's latest announcement about schedule changes and cuts to its daytime output, however, it has since been claimed that This Morning will be facing a period of change from January 2026.

According to the MailOnline, This Morning is facing a huge cutback on its production budget backstage which will see big, glossy showbiz segments axed, no more abroad trips for its hosts and larger-than-life musical items binned.
The programme has been known for going all-out, including jetting Alison Hammond to LA to interview Hollywood's top talent as well as various outside broadcasts but it is now expected that these will all be put to bed in order to bring down costs.
It is understood to be the price This Morning has had to pay after not being subjected to any schedule shake-ups and on-air talent axings like its counterparts, Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and Loose Women.
Insiders have claimed that the show will be scaled-back and that their usual flashy, over-the-top segments will be no more.
Speaking about how This Morning will be affected by the ITV crisis, the insider told the publication: "This Morning may have not been hit by the cuts on the surface, but the show is going to look completely different when this all comes into effect next year.
"The cost of production is on the rise and budgets are going to be significantly reduced when the shows launch in their new schedule slots.
"As well as cuts behind the scenes, there will be big changes on camera, especially on This Morning, big production items like musical theatre performances or outside broadcasts, which is what the show is famous for, will be cut.
"Gone are the days of flying talent like Alison Hammond to Los Angeles to interview Hollywood stars."
They further added: "The general consensus among staff is that the shows are being put on life support and within time, Lorraine and Loose Women will be the first to be cancelled."
This Morning is currently headed up by Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.
ITV Faces Major Shake-Up: Good Morning Britain Stars Under Threat Amid Cost Cuts
Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary host the show on Fridays and it is thought that the four of them are safe from any impending job cuts.
ITV confirmed earlier this week that Loose Women and Lorraine would both face a major overhaul with the shows axing 22 weeks worth of episodes to take them down to a seasonal basis.
It means both shows will air for just 30 weeks a year.
Good Morning Britain will be extended on days when Lorraine is not on-air and will be working closer with the ITV News team under the ITN banner.
GMB and Loose Women are both expected to see on-air talent cut with Lorraine stand-in hosts, Christine Lampard and Ranvir Singh, already revealed to have lost their fill-in positions on the show as a result of the schedule changes.
Adil Ray is expected to be let go from GMB whilst a THIRD of the Loose Women cast could lose their jobs as a result of the changes.

How to steal Cat Deeley's style without breaking the bank - as the This Morning star stuns in affordable fashion

Since stepping into her role as co-host on ITV 's This Morning, Cat Deeley has captivated audiences not only with her on-screen charm, but also with her impeccable fashion sense. The British TV presenter's wardrobe has become a topic of discussion for viewers in recent weeks - as her looks appear relatively informal in comparison with the designer gear favoured by her predecessor Holly Willoughby. From knee-high boots and cut-out halter necks to silky blouses and wide-leg jeans, 48-year-old Cat clearly enjoys blending high-street finds with timeless elegance. Her stylist, David O'Brien, often draws inspiration from the textures and colours from the 1970s and the retro influence is evident in her choice of flared trousers, tailored waistcoats and earthy tones. On Monday Cat's casual wardrobe featuring an elegant black, sleeveless top that was clasped together in a cross at the front paired with sleek red trousers, raised eyebrows as some said seemed more suited to a 'night out or a beach bar'. The adventurous looks are a far cry from the more formal attire usually supported by breakfast presenters, with the likes of Ruth Langsford, Alison Hammond and Lorraine Kelly preferring a uniform of midi dresses, blazers and smart blouses. While Holly favoured designer items from brands such as Ted Baker, LK Bennett and Jaeger, Cat has won fans over by wearing the more affordable Zara and John Lewis. Cat's fashion is refreshingly attainable for audiences, as she blends vintage influences with contemporary trends, making her style easy to replicate. EastEnders legend Ross Kemp refuses to rule out return

The 60-year-old returned to EastEnders as Grant Mitchell after almost 10 years away earlier this year. His character arrived back on the Square to help his brother Phil with his mental health problems. Grant recently left Walford again for his home in Portugal. 🏆🥳 WINNER! 🥳🏆 What a year and what an honour to be crowned Best British Soap at The British @SoapAwards 2025 by the people who matter the most - YOU! ❤️ Thank you to everyone who voted! Lots of love, your #EastEnders family. #TheBritishSoapAwards @BBC @BBCOne @BBCiPlayer — BBC EastEnders (@bbceastenders) May 31, 2025 Speaking on Loose Women, Kemp said he owes the BBC soap 'a great debt' for giving him a career in television. Asked whether he would return to the role of Grant again, Kemp said: 'You just don't know, do you? You don't know what's in the minds of the people who work on it. 'I've also (always) known that without it, I wouldn't have had the career that I've had, I've always owed it a great debt and it was very good to me, and hopefully I was good to it, and why not keep it that way? 'I've always believed that you should leave doors swinging rather than shut them.' Kemp, who went on to produce a number of documentaries since first leaving EastEnders in 1999 including Ross Kemp On Gangs, Ross Kemp In Afghanistan and Ross Kemp: Extreme World, said he enjoyed returning to the soap. He explained: 'It was so wonderful to jump into Grant's leather jacket again, which I can still get in. EastEnders' top 5 villains 'It's a family, it's an ongoing thing, and I'm talking about the past, and they're really busy doing their own thing, I just parachute in, and I exit generally by the tube station. 'But they've got to be welcoming, because it's like a high-speed train, you've got to jump on it at the right time or you miss it. 'So luckily, Steve McFadden (who plays Phil), and Paul Bradley (who plays Nigel Bates), and Letitia (Dean, who plays Sharon Watts) opened the door for me, and it was like going back home, and it was great.' Are Ross Kemp and Steve McFadden friends? Their brotherly love on-screen may have been tested over the years, but in real life Kemp and actor McFadden share a close relationship. 'We've [McFadden and I] always remained friends, but, yeah, we are more in touch since I've gone back for the 40th anniversary,' Kemp told The Mirror earlier this year. 'Steve is a fine actor and I don't think soap actors get recognised for how good they are.' Recommended reading: Kemp began on the soap in 1990, and his previous appearance prior to his 2025 return, in 2016, marked his on-screen mother Dame Barbara Windsor's final episode as Peggy Mitchell. Where does Ross Kemp live? Kemp lives in the picturesque Thames-side village of Cookham in Berkshire. He is well known within the community and has openly spoken about how he frequently visits nearby Marlow's restaurants.

Emmerdale newcomer Bradley Riches reveals soap bosses allowed him to re-write his scripts for new role as Lewis Barton

EMMERDALE newcomer Bradley Riches has admitted soap bosses allowed him to re-write parts of the script after joining the programme as Lewis Barton. The Netflix actor was unveiled as the ITV soap's new star signing earlier this year and has already become a fan favourite among the viewers of the show. 4 Bradley Riches has revealed that he has been allowed to make amendments to his Emmerdale scripts Credit: Alamy 4 He joined the ITV soap as Lewis Barton last month Credit: ITV Like Bradley, Lewis is autistic and the actor has worked with show bosses in order to carve out the best ways of accurately portraying a character such as Lewis. Speaking to The Sun alongside co-star Natalie J. Robb at this year's British Soap Awards, he revealed how he had been allowed to make changes to the script and dialogue for his character. Heartstopper actor Bradley told us: "I think when they first said he was a neurodivergent character, an autistic character - they were like we really want to use the language that Bradley would use. "They were very open with that. "When I got the first script, for me personally, I don't say 'I have autism', because it feels like an extension - I just say 'I'm autistic' because it is part of me. "So little lines like that I changed and they were very open to that and understanding." He continued: "A lot of the things that people don't understand about Lewis are probably because he is an autistic character. "Him hyperfixating on what the hell happened to his mum and Moira is like 'she was a crazy woman' but he is hyperfixating on what happened to his mum. "He is tunnel vision until he knows the truth." His character Lewis has already begun to cause chaos in the Dales after discovering the true secrets of his biological family. Emmerdale's Amy Walsh admits she took mass soap axing 'personally' Despite initially bonding with his brother Ross Barton, he soon began to fall out with his family as the truth behind his mother Emma's murder came to light. It saw Lewis vow to run to the cops and tell them that it was in fact Moira who killed Emma and not her son, Adam, like they believe. Fans will remember that Adam covered for his mum and took the blame for the killing and went on the run as a result. The incident has largely been forgotten about until Lewis' shock appearance in the village. Bradley first rose to fame in Netflix's smash hit drama, Heartstopper. He then appeared as a housemate in the first revival series of Celebrity Big Brother on ITV last year and was cruelly evicted through the back door just days before the show's final. 4 Brad's character has already proved popular Credit: Alamy 4 Lewis has been settling into life in the Dales Credit: ITV
