Pamela Anderson Made a 'Wonderful' First Impression on Liam Neeson

THE RUNDOWN
Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson were friends before they started dating, but their first impressions of each other suggest that a spark was always there. The Naked Gun co-stars appeared on SiriusXM's Radio Andy with Andy Cohen and spoke about their first meeting.
Neeson began, 'Well, you know, we had never met before [filming The Naked Gun], and I remember thinking, 'Wow, she is gorgeous,' but she had this wonderful sense of silliness and just humanity about her. I don't want to blow her head up, but it was like I just felt an ease with her, you know, and we discovered a silliness with each other, which was terrific, you know?'
Anderson had similar praise for Neeson, saying, 'Well, I was nervous to meet him, of course, and you're always nervous the first day on the set, and it was just easygoing and very silly, which puts you at ease and very silly, on and off.'
This is far from Neeson's first time praising his new partner. During his appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last night, he called Anderson 'great' and 'terrific.'
Back in October, he spoke about being smitten with his co-star, who plays his love interest in the film. 'With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her,' he told People. 'She's just terrific to work with. I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film.'
Anderson and Neeson recently started dating. On July 29, People broke the news, with a source telling the outlet, 'It's a budding romance in the early stages. It's sincere, and it's clear they're smitten with each other.'
That same day, a source told Us Weekly, '[They] always had chemistry while they were filming, and their friendship naturally developed into more.'

John Cena Got A Hair Transplant

John Cena is the latest celebrity to get candid about his cosmetic surgery procedures. In an Aug. 6 interview with People, the WWE champion opened up about his life-changing hair transplant and facing the pressures of aging in the spotlight. Last July, John announced that he's retiring from the ring in 2025, and explained that "age plays a factor." The 17-time WWE World champion wants to make room for young, new wrestlers. "I'm not as strong or as fast as I used to be. I made a promise when I started gaining some notoriety that when I'm a step slower, I will go, because there will be kids just as hungry as I was who have earned a shot to see if they can make it," he said. As his retirement from wrestling approaches, he's focusing on his health and 4-year marriage to Shay Shariatzadeh. "My health and my dedication to my partner are the tip of my spear in life right now, so I think every time I go out [in the ring], I just want to make sure I'm able to give my all, but it's time to step away," John continued. The Peacemaker actor said his "farewell" tour will serve as a closure for his fans, who he described as "the reason for my optimism, my perserveance, my passion." "They don't let you get away with phoning it in, because they'll eat you alive," he added, before opening up about a topic that he's addressed recently after bullying from fans: his hair loss, and whether or not he got a hair transplant. "As I was trying to hide my hair loss, the audience was bringing it to light," John said. "I saw their signs that said 'The bald John Cena,'" he said. "They pushed me into going to see what my options were. I now have a routine: red-light therapy, minoxidil, vitamins, shampoo, conditioner — and I also got a hair transplant last November." "I hate the fact that if there wasn't so much shame around it, I'd have gotten it done 10 years ago. I thought I was alone, but seven or eight out of 10 [men] suffer from thinning or baldness." The bullying doesn't work on John in the same way at this point in his career. He's actually "fired up" about the topic of his hair. "If somebody's going to sweat me for that, I don't think there's any shame in that," he said. "It completely changed the course of my life." "They don't do anything except move your hair, one by one, from one area to another," he added. The wrestling superstar has established himself as an actor with recurring roles in action movies like the Fast and Furious franchise, Heads of State (2025), or comedies like 2023's Vacation Friends 2 and Barbie. And John said his hair has given him more range to continue his acting. "A different hairstyle can identify a part that can get me more work, do the thing I love to do." Howard Stern's iconic radio show is facing cancelation as his $100M Sirius contract nears its end

Howard Stern's iconic radio show is set to be axed after a two-decade run with the broadcaster SiriusXM, according to a new report. The shock jock's contract with the digital radio giant is up for renewal soon, and SiriusXM doesn't expect he'll take them up on a new offer, sources told British tabloid The Sun. The Howard Stern Show experienced a surge in popularity after it was nationally syndicated on terrestrial radio from 1986 to 2005. Stern, known for his direct and controversial persona, has interviewed dozens of A-list celebrities and even former Vice President Kamala Harris, a month before voters headed to the polls in November 2024. In recent years, he has been openly critical of President Trump, saying he 'hated Trump voters,' and branded them as stupid – an opinion that Trump retaliated to by saying that Stern "went woke" and lost listeners as a result. Stern's contract is up in the fall, and while Sirius is planning to make him an offer, they don't intend for him to take it, an insider told The Sun. 'Sirius and Stern are never going to meet on the money he is going to want. It's no longer worth the investment,' the person added. In 2004, Stern became one of the highest-paid radio figures in the U.S. after signing a five-year deal with SiriusXM worth $500 million. The insider claims that SiriusXM was not going to be able to keep up with paying Stern his salary. "But as far as him coming back to doing the show, there's no way they can keep paying his salary," the source said. "After you saw what happened with Stephen Colbert, it's like they just can't afford to keep him going." Another Sun source said Stern's political views were not working in his favor. "If Sirius isn't going to give Stern a good offer, I don't think it would have anything to do with his ratings," the source claimed. "It's more likely everything to do with the political climate." CBS recently announced that Colbert's The Late Show was set to be scrapped because of 'a financial decision,' however, many speculated that the move came because of the host's frequent satirical blows to Trump. Stern joined SiriusXM at age 50 in response to 'censorship' efforts during his time at Viacom by the Federal Communications Commission, which does not regulate the content of satellite programs. The FCC had been fining Stern's station for over a decade. Stern became the most fined radio host between 1990 and 2004, after the FCC issued fines totaling $2.5 million to radio licensees for airing material it considered to be indecent from his show, the highest amount of any American radio show. During his time as a judge on the talent TV series America's Got Talent from 2012 to 2015, his appointment was criticized by The Parents Television Council, the watchdog group that bemoans any suggestion of sex or profanity on TV, for his "reputation for sleaze and misogyny.' The Independent contacted Stern's representatives and SiriusXM for comment. Solve the daily Crossword
