Timothee Chalamet attempts to flirt with Gwyneth Paltrow in new movie trailer

Hollywood actor Timothee Chalamet has taken on a brand new role for his latest movie project as he flirts with actress Gwyneth Paltrow in the Marty Supreme trailer
Timothee Chalamet has taken on another role as he adds to his impressive acting catalogue and this time, he is flirting with Gwyneth Paltrow. The trailer for his latest film project, Marty Supreme, has seen the actor step into another leading role.

It follows a young man, played by Timothee, who 'goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness' and has a dream 'no-one respects', according to a description from producers A24. Timothee, 29, has been transformed for the role as he dons a moustache and glasses.

The Wonka star said he was 'in pursuit of greatness' himself after a win at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards earlier this year. It comes after Liam Neeson's son reacts to his dad's romance with Pamela Anderson.

In the trailer for Josh Safdie's Marty Supreme, Timothee can be seen on the phone, speaking to Gwyneth's movie star character. 'I saw you in the lobby yesterday, well, I've never talked to an actual movie star, you know I'm something of a performer too,' he told her.
Across the two-minute video are clips of Marty getting out of an aeroplane, playing at ping-pong tournaments and throwing a bin during a match. In another scene, he said: 'I have a purpose and if you think that's some sort of blessing, it's not.
'It means I have an obligation to see a very specific thing through and with that obligation comes sacrifice.' US rapper Tyler, The Creator makes an appearance as he is seen driving in a car with Marty and pushing his forehead in another clip.
Supporting cast members include Fam star Odessa A'zion, Canadian TV personality Kevin O'Leary, US filmmaker Abel Ferrara, and Saturday Night Fever actress Fran Drescher.
Filmmaker Safdie is known for directing Good Time, with Robert Pattinson, as well as Uncut Gems, starring Adam Sandler and Julia Fox. Timothee, has starred in films including Call Me By Your Name (2017), Little Women (2019), and Dune (2021), and won the leading actor prize at the SAG Awards in February for his role playing Bob Dylan in the biopic A Complete Unknown.

Marty Supreme will be released on Christmas Day 2025. It's not just Timothee's work that has grabbed headlines, as his romance with Kylie Jenner came as a surprise to fans.
The unlikely couple were first linked in April 2023 after reports surfaced that they had been spending time together. They made their first public appearance as a couple in September that year at Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour in Los Angeles, where they were photographed kissing and laughing together in the VIP section.

Since then, the couple have kept their relationship relatively low-key, occasionally being photographed on outings but avoiding public commentary about one another.
However, some fans have grown concerned about the status of the relationship after Kylie shared a series of revealing bikini snaps. The Kylie Cosmetics mogul, 28, stunned in a barely-there leopard print bikini earlier this month.
Over the past month, fans have noted the absence of any new images of the pair together, with Kylie also posting a series of Instagram Stories featuring melancholy song lyrics which have further fuelled rumours of a split.
She shared a photo with a glass of wine and added the Jeff Buckley classic Lover, You Should've Come over to her post. In the chorus, the Hallelujah legend sings: "Lover, you should've come over / 'Cause it's not too late."
One fan rushed to X to share a screenshot of the breakup songs and wrote: "I hope Kylie and Timothee are doing good." Another, who was hopeful that no split added: "They look so good together. I hope they get married."

Darius Danesh's ex-wife speaks out after tragic death and undiagnosed condition

Former Pop Idol contestant Darius Campbell Danesh died suddenly at the age of 41 in August 2022 Darius Campbell Danesh' ex-wife has paid tribute to the late singer on the third anniversary of his death. ‌ The former Pop Idol contestant died suddenly at the age of 41 in August 2022 after inhaling chloroethane - also known as ethyl chloride - at his Minnesota apartment. ‌ Three years on from the tragedy, 50-year-old Canadian actress Natasha Henstridge - who filed for divorce from the Colourblind hitmaker in 2013, after just over two years of marriage - has admitted she still misses him dearly. ‌ Alongside a series of pictures of Darius, including one of the couple posing in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, she penned on Instagram on August 11: "Love and light always. Miss you today…. Sending love to the Danesh's and everyone whose life he touched." According to his girlfriend, Darius had been "living with a broken neck" and an undiagnosed heart condition when he died. Lauren Cheek explained that an autopsy revealed that his heart was "twice the size" it should have been and that she believes he used the recreational anaesthetic to alleviate the pain. She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Darius was living with this heart condition that he didn't know he had. So many things could have taken him, but this one thing did, and he died in his sleep. "His mum told me they only found out after they did the autopsy. His heart was twice the size it was supposed to be, which was fitting, because that is genuinely how he was — he had so much love. ‌ "The autopsy also found he was living with a broken neck, but he refused to get help or complain about it. I think he used (chloroethane) because he was in so much pain and he didn't want to take pills, not even aspirin. That's what killed him — the substance mixed with his heart and he couldn't take it." Lauren went on to add that Darius - who shot to fame when he gave a memorable rendition of Britney Spears ' hit '...Baby One More Time' on the ITV talent show Popstars before releasing a string of hit singles and eventually going on to star in the West End - had sustained his injuries whilst racing with Hollywood actor Gerard Butler and always "refused" when she urged him to see a doctor. ‌ She added: "He was with Gerry (Butler) in Monaco for the Grand Prix and they slammed into a wall during a race with the Prince of Monaco. I don't think it ever fully healed and then he rebroke it because he got hit by a car in London a year or two before he died when he was riding a bike. "And then he got into a car accident with his dad in Scotland. D was in the passenger seat, his dad was driving and someone drove into them. "He was always in pain and I would beg him to see the doctor, but he refused. He was trying to find a natural remedy.'

BBC star could be first ginger Bond after ‘screen-testing for role'

An underdog in the race to cinch the role of James Bond has apparently already screen-tested for the role. Six years after Daniel Craig announced his retirement from the franchise, fans are wildly speculating who may take on the role of 007. Former favourite Idris Elba, 52, previously ruled himself out from playing the British spy, while other hotly tipped actors, including James Norton and Theo James, have not confirmed any involvement. The current front-runner to become Bond is Aaron Taylor-Johnson, while bookies have also given preferential odds to the likes of Henry Cavill, Jack Lowden, Tom Holland, and Callum Turner. But for the last couple of months, 37-year-old actor Scott Rose-Marsh, has been cropping up on betting sites, and new reports suggest he's taken one step further in the race. Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that the star screen-tested for the role sometime in late June. It was reported that he read sides from 1995's GoldenEye, presumably for director Denis Villeneuve, who became attached to the project in June. It was added that he was given just one piece of direction before testing: 'Don't impersonate a previous Bond.' The actor, who Betfred currently places in 12th place in the running with odds of 12/1, is a relative unknown compared to other candidates. He previously appeared in movies like Wolves of War and Code of Silence, but is otherwise a lesser-known film star. The announcement from Amazon MGM Studios that Denis Villeneuve will helm the next James Bond film is a dramatic move marking a creative shift for the 007 franchise, and signalling a new era for Britain's most iconic spy. The Canadian director, best known for directing Dune and Dune: Part Two, as well as Arrival, Blade Runner 2049, Sicario, and Prisoners, expressed reverence for the character. 'Some of my earliest movie-going memories are connected to 007,' he said in a statement released Wednesday. 'I grew up watching James Bond films with my father, ever since Dr. No with Sean Connery. I'm a die-hard Bond fan. To me, he's sacred territory.' While acknowledging the enormous expectations, Villeneuve said he intends to 'honour the tradition and open the path for many new missions to come.' He called the opportunity 'a massive responsibility, but also, incredibly exciting for me and a huge honour.' The announcement comes during a period of major upheaval behind the scenes of the Bond universe. More Trending Amazon Studios officially purchased MGM for $8.45billion (£6.7billion) in 2022, with a new agreement over creative control meaning Bond — and whoever is next to play 007 – is entirely under the streamer's control. It is a landmark decision as family-run Eon Productions has brought Bond to the big screen since the franchise began. After decades of tight creative control, producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson – heirs to the franchise through their father, original Bond producer Albert 'Cubby' Broccoli – have ceded key decision-making power to Amazon MGM Studios. Given all the changes in the franchise, it's perhaps not surprising if a relatively unknown actor like Scott Rose-Marsh takes on the role. Got a story? With tariffs, a DC takeover, and Putin summit, Trump is now fully unleashed. And the world's tolerance for pain put to the test

Donald Trump is finally getting almost everything that he wants. But the question is, how will everyone else respond to that? On Wednesday, he arrived at the Kennedy Center and announced that he would host the annual honors award ceremony, a first for a president. For a president who loves the theatrical, it's definitely a coup, especially given that he removed the board members that Joe Biden nominated before the new board made him chairman. Trump has long had a flair for the theatrical–at his rallies, he regularly plays 'Memory' from Cats and 'Do You Hear the People Sing?' from Les Miserables –and it further reflects how he wants to remake parts of government that were previously nonpartisan and unchanged by who occupies the White House into his own image. But while Trump taking over the performing arts center is campy and even a bit weird, it shows how Trump feels no scruples and that he can finally realize the vision he wants for the country. The only question at this point is what the rest of the world's pain tolerance will be. Earlier this week, Trump made the unprecedented announcement that he would seize control of the Washington, D.C. police department and deploy the National Guard onto the streets of the nation's capital. Trump has long griped about crime and in many ways, it's a chance for him to live out the vision he wanted during the 2020 George Floyd protests, where he could deploy active duty troops onto the streets of American cities. He tried similar measures when he deployed the National Guard and Marines to Los Angeles, though, as The Independent's Inside Washington newsletter flagged on Monday, that move led to his approval rating dropping. And much of the deployment of the National Guard has proven to be policing theater, given that guardsmen and women have been patrolling the tony Georgetown neighborhood. Washington, D.C. is an overwhelmingly Democratic city that has also seen a large slice of its workforce laid off thanks to the chaotic cuts unleashed by Trump's former consigliere Elon Musk and his apprentice at the Department of Government Effieincy, Edward Coristine, also known as 'Big Balls,' whom right-wing influencer Benny Johnson insisted receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Trump having troops roaming the city will likely not land well with the public nationally or in the district. But that's not the only area where Trump has finally removed the handcuffs. Last week, after a prolonged pause, Trump resumed his 'Liberation Day' tariffs. Trump had initially paused them the week after he announced them in April, saying he noticed the bond market had gotten 'a little queasy.' Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JPMorgan Chase, had gone on Fox Business to speak with Maria Bartiromo, one of Trump's favorite pundits, the day before the pause. But this time, Trump is brooking no opposition from the lords of finance. Earlier this month, he responded to a poor jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics by sacking the chief statistician and nominating E.J. Antoni, an alumnus of the conservative Heritage Foundation, the think tank behind Project 2025. On Tuesday, the bureau put out a report showing that inflation for the core Consumer Price Index, which includes items for everything except food and energy, rose by 0.3 percent and inflation overall rose by 0.2 percent in July. And core CPI also rose by 3.1 percent in the past year. But Trump has not backed down. In response, he blasted Goldman Sachs's CEO, David Solomon, after a report by the investment titan showing that consumers are eating 22 percent of the tariffs. Clearly, Trump is not afraid of the fallout and believes that if he just gets the right people, he will get the result. Then there's the matter of Russia and Vladimir Putin. On Friday, he will host the Russian authoritarian in Alaska as he hopes to bring an end to Moscow's war in Ukraine. In recent months, Trump has seemed to come around on Russia, expressing his frustration with Putin, realizing that the rest of the Western world already knows: Putin has no interest in ending the war unless he can claim territory he believes rightfully belongs to Russia. This will be a stark contrast to the 2018 summit in Helsinki, when he seemed to brush off American intelligence and sided with Putin's denial that Russia intervened in the 2016 election. That earned him severe criticism, not the least of which came from the late John McCain. Now, McCain is dead and most of the old school Republican hawks have left the Senate. The ones who remain will not put up a fight. Instead, Trump gets to host Russia's president on American soil and, as if to make an even bigger point, he's hosting it in the home state of Lisa Murkowski, a Russia hawk and perpetual Trump critic. Trump knows that no matter what, he can push Murkowski and she will not push back. During Trump's press conference announcing the D.C. takeover, he said that police can 'do whatever the hell they want.' Trump clearly believes he can do the same. The question now is what will the consequences be of an unfettered Trump?
