The set-up at the Welsh capital's Principality Stadium is well under way.
On Monday, the city could hear a soundcheck where a string of songs were blasted out through the open roof, giving clues of what will be on the setlist.
Live versions of their 1995 No1 Some Might Say, 1994's Cigarettes & Alcohol and Fn' In The Bushes, from 2000 album Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants, were all played.
Noel and Liam Gallagher are not thought to have been there for the soundcheck, with Liam posting on X that 'nobody rehearses on a Monday'.

But they are likely to take to the stage to practise before doors officially open on Friday afternoon.
A source said: 'The stage is being set up in the stadium and everything is being tested to make sure the opening show goes off without a hitch.
'The band and their team are very much aware that the world will be watching, so they want it to be the best show possible.
'They will be doing a soundcheck in the lead-up to the first concert so the locals are likely to hear them performing before ticket holders will get to see them.

'It's very exciting.'
In more good news for fans, the group have announced a deluxe 30th anniversary edition of their second album (What's The Story) Morning Glory?, which will be out on October 3.
Liam Gallagher reveals new details about Oasis tour – before quickly deleting post
It will feature five new unplugged versions of classic recordings Cast No Shadow, Morning Glory, Wonderwall, Acquiesce and Champagne Supernova, and is available to pre-order now.
Meanwhile, Liam has been mouthing off on X in the run-up to the shows.

Asked if he's 'seriously not nervous' about it, he said: 'No, coz I've prepared like a CHAMPION.'
To another, he added: 'We wouldn't be doing it if we sounded s**t.'
And he couldn't help but have a playful dig at his big brother.
After one fan posted a dream setlist ending with Don't Look Back In Anger, on which Noel sings lead vocals, another commented: 'Not a chance Liam isn't closing the gig.'

Liam replied: 'Exactly . . . He is the boss but he's not f***ing stupid.'
Clearly he still sees himself as the main attraction, even after all this time.

Verve frontman and friend of the Gallaghers, Richard Ashcroft will then take to the stage at 7pm. Then, at 8.15pm this Friday, Oasis will play for just over two hours before they will end the set for a 22.30pm curfew. Speaking about the first reunion gig, a source told us: "With a new lineup and it being such a huge first show, the boys will do some songs inside the venue too. Some tours would start with a smaller show or take a week or two to get into the groove again. "But there is no time for that, and also Liam and Noel want every night to be massive. This is such a huge comeback show, and they are taking it very seriously. It all points to it being an incredible comeback tour."

Noel Gallagher give candid verdict on Oasis massive success ahead of reunion

Oasis star Noel Gallagher has opened up about the iconic band's secret to their massive success just days before they're finally set to reunite after 16 years apart Noel Gallagher has spoken in the Oasis tour programme - explaining why they are loved by music fans young and old. The first fans have been queuing up at the Principality stadium and Cardiff pop up shop to get their hands on the tour programme. In it Noel Gallagher spoke at younger fans and why so many people tried to get tickets for the Oasis Live 25 tour. ‌ Noel said: 'A new generation recognises how Oasis wasn't manufactured. It was chaotic, and flawed, and not technically brilliant. We were rough and ready guys from a rehearsal room, and people recognised it.' ‌ Noel's comments come just a couple of days after brother Liam gave an interview to Burberry, in what could be his final on screen chat before he takes to the stage in Cardiff. Asked what makes a great frontman, Liam said: 'I mean being able to sing is good. Just getting on with your job and doing it, and trying to get a vibe going and looking cool.' He has previously credited Ian Brown as an influence on him as a youngster and asked for the music money that changed his life as he explained: 'When I went to see the Stone Roses in 1989 in Manchester, and that was it, I thought 'I'm helping a bit of that'.' Liam was also asked about the things he couldn't live without, and some of these things he will undoubtedly miss whilst on tour, especially his pet. He said: ' Football, my family, my missus, my kids, my dog. In no particular order by the way. My dog's called Buttons.' Oasis have arrived in Cardiff ahead of the the start of their sensational reunion tour - which will finally see Noel and Liam Gallagher on stage together for the first time in 16 years. ‌ The countdown is now on for the first show of the world tour on Friday, with the band having got back together several months ago to begin jamming. The first photos of the band leaving rehearsals in London were published in May. They showed Noel Gallagher, Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, Gem Archer and Andy Bell who will play guitars in the massive sold out gigs, with Andy on bass. Liam, who was initially on vocal rest, then joined on June 3. The band also has new members in keyboard player Christian Madden and drummer Joey Waronker on drums. He has played with Liam before on a tour but never in Oasis. ‌ Noel and Liam will walk on stage for the first time together in public, since the band split nearly two decades ago, on July 4 as their first tour date will take place in Cardiff. There will also be dates in Manchester, London and Dublin as part of the tour. Noel, 57, quit the Manchester rock group on August 28 2009, saying he "simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer", and the brothers had made negative comments about each other for more than a decade. That all changed with the announcement of the tour in August last year. The pair posed for several photos together confirming the band's long-awaited reunion on Tuesday, saying: "The great wait is over."

Ticketmaster threatened with legal action over Oasis gig ticket sales by UK watchdog

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) TICKETMASTER is being threatened with legal action over Oasis gig ticket sales by the UK watchdog. More than 900,000 tickets went on sale in August last year via Ticketmaster for the tour, which reunites Noel and Liam Gallagher, and is set to kick off on Friday in Cardiff. It said it was concerned that it had broken consumer protection law by labelling seats at Platinum despite being in the same area of the stadium and selling them for £350 instead of £150 face value. The CMA also said that Oasis fans were not told about two categories of standing tickets, with cheaper ones sold first before more expensive standing tickets were sold. It means Oasis fans waited in a queue, some for more than 12 hours, for tickets without knowing the price, then having to decide whether to pay a higher amount than expected. It did not find evidence of a 'dynamic pricing' model being used during the sale. Ticketmaster made some changes to its ticket sale process but the CMA said it'does not currently consider these changes are sufficient'. It had been trying to work with them to change their pricing and ticket information - but today in a letter to the business and trade select committee published today, the CMA it wasn't happy and it is seeking legal action. It said: 'Having carefully considered Ticketmaster's response, the CMA's view is that there is a fundamental disagreement between the CMA and Ticketmaster about whether Ticketmaster's practices infringed consumer law.' The CMA will continue to try and resolve the issue with Ticketmaster while it starts legal action. Hayley Fletcher, interim senior director of consumer protection at the CMA, said: 'All ticketing websites should check they are complying with the law and treating their customers fairly. 'When businesses get it right, consumers benefit – and that's the best outcome for everyone.' Last week, Oasis announced that they were releasing more tickets for the summer tour. Fans have been scammed out of more than £2million by fraudsters, according to Lloyds bank.
