Kirtland Air Fiesta returns after a six-year hiatus
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – After a six-year layoff, the Kirtland Air Fiesta is back at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque. The public will get a chance to check out both modern and classic aircraft and enjoy a lineup of aerial demonstrations and static displays.

The event takes place Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1. Gates open at 8 a.m. and show closes at 5 p.m. Guests can see a lineup of performances by the U.S. Army Golden Knights, F-16 Viper Demonstration Team, Shaw Air Force Base, a showcase from the 58th Special Operations Wing and more. The event is free to attend. For civilians that don't have access to the base, Kirtland has set up a park and ride system to bring members of the public on base for the event.

The library has been endorsed by DocuMentality, Film Fatales, Brown Girls Doc Mafia, Columbia College Chicago, and Jewish Film Institute, among other organizations. The program will be announced at the Tribeca Festival on June 11th at Spring Studios. The Documentary Producers Alliance is a nonprofit organization made up of 500 independent documentary producers. In the pats, the group has released guides and best practices — such as 'Guide to Best Practices in Documentary Crediting' and 'Negotiating Contracts for Independent Documentary Producers' — to assist filmmakers in all aspects of the changing non-fiction landscape. Netflix adds exclusive local content to interactive site
NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – On Monday, Netflix announced an update to Netflix in Your Neighborhood—NM. This interactive website allows the community to learn more about their favorite movies and shows filmed in New Mexico. PREVIOUS COVERAGE: Netflix launches site showcasing New Mexico film locations The new update features two new titles, 'Ransom Canyon,' filmed in Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Mora County, and San Miguel County, and 'Pulse,' filmed in Albuquerque. Four new videos are also available, showcasing actors Minka Kelly (an Albuquerque native) and Josh Duhamel from 'Ransom Canyon,' as well as Willa Fitzgerald and Colin Woodell from 'Pulse.' The actors share their unique experiences filming in New Mexico in these exclusive interviews. Free drive-in movie experience coming to Balloon Fiesta Park
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A free drive-in movie experience is coming to Balloon Fiesta Park thanks to a collaboration between the City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County. The event is part of the Summer of Nonviolence initiative to provide youth with fun and safe activities throughout the summer to keep them engaged and active. News: Governor's Office: Operation Zia Shield is different than situation in California 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' will be shown on June 11 at Balloon Fiesta Park's east parking lot in Albuquerque. Attendees will be able to watch the movie from their vehicle, or they can bring their own chairs and sit in a designated area near the movie screen. Audio will be accessible from car radios via a transmitter and speakers near the seating area. Anyone who completes a survey that will be provided at the event will be given a voucher to use at any of the food trucks on-site.
