People alarmed as mom asks 'find my daughter' in scenic rock photo... can you spot her in 20 seconds?
User Snzzyman posted a photo on the 'find the sniper' thread of a seaside rock structure covered in small sea creatures in Bay of Islands, New Zealand. The completely normal looking picture of a rock turned out to be a challenge.
The poster's daughter was hiding somewhere behind a hole in the rock and finding her in the photo was more of a feat than many Reddit users were expecting.
It left people feeling panicked, confused, and even a little spooked.
Snzzyman said that they saw the opportunity for the perfect optical illusion and just had to take it.
'Long term snipe fan!' they wrote. 'I saw great potential when I saw the little hole in the rock haha.'
But the hole with the daughter's face peering through was not so easily found.
Take a look at the photo and see if you're as easily stumped as the comment section. Can you find her face in the photo in less than 20 seconds?
How did you do?
If you were unable to solve the puzzle in the blink of an eye, you're in good company.
The picture left most people completely confused. Some gave off-base answers while others gave up altogether.
One user wrote: 'I spent more time trying to uncover the scale of the picture than finding her. I have to say I thought it was a huge mountain and when I saw her face I actually gasped. This was a great one.'
Another said: 'Let's face it, that was a good one.'
'Took a while to spot. Peak-a-boo,' a third joked.
A few people intricately searched the photo only to be startled when the answer popped out at them unexpectedly.
'NGL I got a little freaked out,' one user commented.
Another agreed: 'Ha! I zoomed right into it and she jump-scared me.'
The element of surprise appeared to be common with one viewer exclaiming: 'I can't see any- OH MY GAWD!!!'
And some people were just seeing things: '2/3rds down from the top, 2/3rds across to the right, wearing a dark blue, long-sleeved jacket and pants that match the color of the rock, arms raised, maybe also taking a picture of you?'
So if you're still stumped, you're in good company.
The daughter's toothy smile can be seen through a tiny hole just right of center on the rock structure. If you zoom in three quarters of the way up, you should be able to see her grin.
From far away it's hard to even tell that the rock has a hole in it, but when searching the picture completely zoomed in, she stuck out like a sore thumb.

Aussie mum urges parents to ban kids from watching Peppa Pig after noticing 'insane' detail: 'I'm shocked'
A mum has called on fellow parents to stop letting their kids watch Peppa Pig after she noticed her toddler son mimicking the TV character's 'bad behaviour'. Kelly Arvan, from Victoria, said her three-year-old son Kia had started impulsively saying, 'You're not my best friend' to everyone around him. At first, the mum-of-two was confused because she didn't know where he had picked up the catchphrase - but she asked him to stop repeating it, and he did. A few weeks later, Kia was watching Peppa Pig when the main character suddenly blurted out, 'You're not my best friend anymore' - stopping the mum in her tracks. 'It's insane. I have watched back episodes myself... and Peppa isn't a good influence at all. I'm shocked,' Kelly told Daily Mail Australia. The mum said she has since banned her son Kia from watching the show because she doesn't agree with the way Peppa treats her little brother George. 'It worries me because Peppa is really mean to her little brother. My three-year-old son Kia has a seven-month-old brother Kian and he treats him so kindly and loving so I would never want Kia to get a bad influence from Peppa,' Kelly said. 'It's a great warning for other parents who are totally oblivious like I was.' Daily Mail Australia has contacted Hasbro, who owns Peppa Pig, for comment. The catchphrase 'You're not my best friend' appears in multiple episodes of the iconic children's TV show, including one where Peppa accuses her best friend Suzy of cheating during a card game of snap. 'I don't want to play with you anymore,' Peppa exclaimed, as Suzy, replied, 'I don't want to play with you anymore.' 'I am not talking to her,' Peppa said as she pointed her finger at Suzy. Peppa's mum nervously laughs it off, before responding: 'I'm sure they'll make it up... They are best friends.' However, Peppa disagreed, snapping back: 'It's not funny,' prompting Suzy to storm off, saying 'We are not best friends anymore.' In the next scene, Suzy calls Peppa and says, 'We can be friends again... if you say, "Sorry"'. Peppa responds, 'I'm sorry I said you cheated, even though you did cheat.' The conversation quickly falls apart, ending with Suzy saying, 'I'm sorry you were ever my best friend' before abruptly hanging up. Kelly was shocked when she realised her toddler had picked up the phrase from the show, promoting her to make a video warning other parents. 'Warning to all parents who let their children, specifically toddlers, watch Peppa Pig,' she said. The mum said other parents had previously warned her that Peppa Pig came across as 'rude', but she never thought twice about letting her boy watch it. 'About a month ago, he started going around to everyone, saying: "You're not my best friend... You're not my best friend",' Kelly recalled. 'And he was saying it quite often and I kept saying to him, "Where are you learning this? That's not nice to say to someone. You're not allowed to say that anymore." And he stopped saying it.' Over the weekend, the family was enjoying some quiet time on the couch while Kia was watching Peppa Pig when Kelly suddenly heard the phrase. 'I hear Peppa Pig saying, "You're not my best friend anymore". I look at the TV and I look at Kia and I've just turned off Peppa Pig. I'm like, "You're not allowed to watch Peppa Pig anymore",' he said. 'I'm in shock. Now I kind of see the behavioural pick ups just from seeing that. I'm actually in shock.' The mum said she now understands where her son picked up some of the catchphrases after noticing a few other unusual behaviours in recent weeks. 'I've been seeing little things like this happened the last couple of weeks, and I'm like, "Where are you learning this behaviour?",' she said. 'It's bloody Peppa Pig.' Her video has been viewed more than 300,000 times - with many parents agreeing with her - some even confirming their kids no longer watch Peppa Pig. 'Peppa Pig is a brat, I banned my kids when I noticed their energy shifting,' one said. 'Oh yes it's bad as. She fat shames her dad and everything. We stopped watching Peppa in our house years ago,' another shared. 'I couldn't stand Peppa Pig. My niece would always say, "I can't do it" and she'd never try to do things and yep... it was from that annoying pig,' one shared. 'Could not agree more! Peppa Pig is a Bully! My kids are banned from watching,' another added. '100 per cent my niece is now banned from that show because her mother experienced the same things. Pepper just sooks when she doesn't get her way, that's not how we should be influencing our kids into thinking that way - it won't be tolerated to behave like that,' one revealed. While many 'oblivious' parents had no idea the show was teaching their kids negative catchphrases. 'OMG STOP! I was wondering where my toddler learnt this,' one said. Some parents and teachers suggested their kids picked up the 'You're not my best friend' from childcare and school. 'My daughter doesn't watch Peppa Pig and 100 per cent got this from childcare and kindergarten,' one shared. 'Unfortunately I work in childcare and the "You're not my best friend" comment is age appropriate especially through that three-six age group. I see it year in and year out constantly. Peppa Pig or not - it's a faze they all go through,' another said. However, one mum chimed in to point out where kids at daycare were really hearing the phrase. 'It's likely because there are children at childcare that watch Peppa Pig. My daughter has just started using this phrase a week ago too and got it from daycare,' she said.

Love Island accused of giving villa girl a ‘mean girl' edit as they ask ‘why didn't producers show this clip instead?'
LOVE Island producers have been accused of giving one of the girls in the villa a 'mean girl' edit. Viewers tuned into the ITV2 show for the infamous 'movie night' twist with lots of drama. 6 Fans are not happy with the way Shakira Khan has come across on screen Credit: Shutterstock Editorial 6 Helena Ford spoke to the other girls about her behaviour Credit: Reddit 6 Viewers of the long-running ITV2 show think that producers have given her a 'mean girl edit' Credit: ITV On Love Island, the contestants were shown controversial scenes of all their antics that they might not have wanted to be shown. This may have included private conversations about other people in the villa, flirty interactions or kisses from Casa Amor. However, some viewers have hit out at not showing certain clips to the contestants, as they say it makes others look worse. One fan started a thread on Reddit, titled 'Why didn't the producers add this clip?' alongside a video. In the clip, some of the girls - which did not include either Shakira Khan or Toni Laites - were sat in the garden as they dissected Shakira's behaviour. Megan Moore stated to the group: "Shakira's cool and that's why she's been grafting her f****** ass off today." However, Helena Ford interjected as she stated: "Oh no. She's gonna choose Connor, I know it." The rest of the girls, which included Alima tried to suggest otherwise, before Helena added: "I think she fancies everyone doesn't she? "She probably fancies the plants." Underneath the clip, the viewer commented: "I think the producers want to give Shakira the mean girl edit." Love Island in fix row as Yas lets slip she knows what the public call her and insisted she's not AI generated Fans flooded the comments section of the post in agreement as they claimed that producers deliberately set up Shakira to look a certain way. One loyal Love Island viewer fumed: "Defs mean girl edit, along with a couple others." A second noted: "It seemed like they wanted to use the clips with ppl that are still in the villa." "Yep this is what started everything and there's so much more they could've included. Idk why they gave Shakira the bad guy edit knowing she's so loved in the outside," stated a third fan. While someone else wrote: "I do think they gave Shakira and Toni the mean girl edit and Helena the victim edit. "They included her comment about the bikini but didn't include Helena and Meg wearing Shakira's bikini? Makes zero sense." However, other viewers came to the defense of the editors behind the scenes as they accused other fans of having a potential memory lapse. A fifth commented: "At this point shakira was literally grafting every boy, pulling them all for chats and flirting wildly with them. she was even taking another girls man to the hideaway to kiss them. I think she [Shakira] fancies everyone doesn't she? She probably fancies the plants. Helena Ford "This is such a mild clip. I don't think u guys actually enjoy drama or love island as a show," said someone else. And a sixth user added: "Oh pls, Meg has been given a 'mean girl' edit too. Shakira, Toni, Meg and Helena have all said b***** things hence why I don't understand why people act like one group is better than the other. They're just as bad as each other imo." 6 Viewers wanted a clip of Helena to be shown on the dreaded 'Movie Night' twist Credit: Reddit 6 Helena worried that Shakira was going to pick Connor at a recoupling Credit: Reddit 6 Viewers defended Shakira as they claim she was 'loved' by the ITV2 fan base Credit: Shutterstock Editorial Love Island continues on ITV2 and is available to stream on ITVX.
