Hari Hara Veera Mallu Day 6 Box Office: Pawan Kalyan Film Struggles To Reach Rs 80 crore

News183 days ago
Pawan Kalyan's "Hari Hara Veera Mallu" struggles at the box office, earning Rs 78.69 crore by day 6. Despite a strong Rs 34.75 crore opening, earnings have dipped.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu Day 6 Box Office Collection: Pawan Kalyan's much-awaited period action film Hari Hara Veera Mallu hit the big screen on July 24 after years of delay. However, the buzz is already wearing off. Despite sky-high expectations from fans, the historical epic hasn't quite lived up to the hype, and the box office numbers are proof. By day 6, the film is still trying to inch closer to the Rs80 crore mark, but the latest figures don't look too promising. As per early estimates by Sacnilk, the film has witnessed yet another dip in collections.
According to early estimates, Hari Hara Veera Mallu collected Rs 1.34 crore on Tuesday, making it the film's lowest single-day earning so far. Its highest remains the opening day, which brought in Rs 34.75 crore. Despite the weekend, there was no significant jump in numbers. Sunday's collection dipped to Rs 10.6 crore. As of Tuesday, the film's total box office collection stands at Rs 78.69 crore.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu had begun its theatrical journey with an explosive opening of Rs 34.75 crore on Day 1.
Directed by Jyothi Krishna, takes audiences back to the 17th century with a powerful story of rebellion. Set in a time of political unrest, the film follows a brave outlaw who rises against a cruel regime. Marking his return to cinema, Pawan Kalyan, now the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, plays the lead role with intensity.
The movie explores strong themes of resistance, justice, and loyalty as it brings a dramatic chapter of history to life. Kalyan's character leads a fierce uprising, standing tall as a symbol of courage and defiance. The screenplay is written by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi, Sai Madhav Burra, and Abhimanyu Srivastava.
A part of the film's review by News18 read, 'Technically, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a mixed bag. Thota Tharani's production design recreates parts of the Mughal world with flair, especially the Charminar sequences, but elsewhere, the visuals falter. The CGI, particularly in action-heavy scenes like the lion sequence and the journey to Delhi, ranges from jarring to downright laughable. These effects undercut the seriousness of the story and make the film feel less like a period epic and more like an outdated TV fantasy."

Randeep Hooda Bids Emotional Goodbye To His Horse Ranji: 'We Just Ran Out of Time'

Last Updated: Actor Randeep Hooda mourned his horse Ranji, who passed away at 23. The actor expressed deep sorrow on Instagram. Actor Randeep Hooda, widely known for his deep affection for animals, recently shared a heartfelt tribute to his horse, Ranji, who passed away at the age of 23. More than just a pet, Ranji was a loyal companion, a champion, and a symbol of resilience to the actor. In a moving post on Instagram, Randeep Hooda recounted Ranji's extraordinary journey — from being rejected by the army for his small size and a botched eye operation, to almost spending a life pulling tangas, until destiny intervened. A timely call between two army officers led to his rescue, and eventually, Ranji found his forever home with Hooda. 'I named him Ranji 'coz of his one eye like Maharaja Ranjit Singh," the actor wrote, recalling the horse's spirited, mischievous nature and zest for life. 'Due to his free upbringing by the Colonel he turned out to be a free spirited and a naughty child. He jumped out or crawled out of all kinds of stables we put him in. With his childlike vivacious personality there was never a dull moment with him around. Always wanting to be running free. He jumped that way too. He took me flying over many an obstacle, sometimes with my eyes shut for the scare of it and won me many a medal. He was always way superior to my riding skills at the time but he carried me well," the Veer Savarkar actor wrote. Ranji's story was also one of perseverance. He was diagnosed with laminitis — a painful and often fatal disease in horses — during his prime. But instead of giving up, Hooda gave him time, and with medical help, Ranji made a miraculous recovery and returned to jumping again. 'Heartbroken and almost not wanting to keep horses anymore, I bid you farewell my dear trusted friend," a heartbroken Hooda wrote, adding, 'My Ranji. We just ran out of time, brother." ‘Court Kacheri' to stream on Sony LIV from August 13

New Delhi, Aug 2 (PTI) 'Court Kacheri", the upcoming legal drama show, is set to premiere on Sony LIV on August 13. Described as 'a courtroom chaos with a whole lot of heart," 'Court Kacheri" is directed by Ruchir Arun. The show stars Pavan Malhotra and Ashish Verma in the lead roles. It centres around Param, a reluctant young man forced into law by his father's towering legacy. In a chaotic small-town district court where justice is murky and power often outweighs principle, every case challenges his beliefs. Caught between escape and responsibility, Param must choose whether to reject his fate or redefine it. Malhotra, who essays the role of Harish Malhotra in the series, said it was more than just a character for him. 'Playing Harish was more than a role, it was a reflection. This show dives into the silent battles between generations, the weight of legacy, and the quiet rebellion of choosing your own path," he said in a statement. 'It's emotional, real, and deeply relatable," he added. The show also features Puneet Batra, Priyasha Bharadwaj, Bhushan Vikas, Kiran Khoje, Sumali Khaniwale and Anandeshwar Dwivedi. Saiyaara Actor Rajesh Kumar On Being In Rs 2 Crore Debt: 'I Had No Income'

Last Updated: Actor Rajesh Kumar, known for Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, faced Rs 2 crore debt and near bankruptcy from farming. Actor Rajesh Kumar, best known for his memorable role as Rosesh in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, recently opened up about one of the most difficult phases of his life. He talked about his staggering Rs 2 crore debt and how a foray into farming left him nearly bankrupt. While Kumar is currently riding high on the massive success of Saiyaara, in which he plays Aneet Padda's father, his journey hasn't always been easy. The film has emerged as one of 2025's biggest box office hits, raking in Rs 284.75 crore in just over two weeks. But just a few years ago, the actor was in a very different place financially. Speaking candidly on the podcast Meri Saheli, the 50-year-old shared, 'The incoming and outgoing flow had gone for a toss. There was no incoming, and I had exhausted all my reserves because of the outgoing. I went under debt of Rs 2 crore. Bankruptcy is a big word, but definitely, I had that feeling with me for a long time. I was not able to generate money for survival." The financial strain began when he attempted to pursue farming, a venture that quickly proved unsustainable. Despite putting in his own savings, the lack of income forced him to rely on his family for support. In another emotional revelation during an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, Kumar recalled the heartbreak of returning from a UK shoot unable to bring anything back for his children. 'I had Rs 2,500 in my bank account when I was in the UK. I travelled back and forth twice during that 24-day shoot, but I couldn't bring back even two chocolates for my kids," he said. Rajesh Kumar's career spans over two decades across television, film, and OTT platforms. First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
