Sonam Bajwa was spotted on a casual day out in the city when a paps requested her to pose for them.
Sonam Bajwa couldn't help but laugh at the mistake of a paparazzi. The lighthearted moment took place on Friday, August 8, when the actress was spotted on a casual day out in the city. Dressed in a plain white T-shirt, black trousers, and uber cool sunglasses, with her hair left open, she was seen heading inside her car when the funny incident took place.
As seen in a video posted on Instagram, the paparazzi were asking her to wait and pose for them as she entered the vehicle to drive off. That's when one photographer mistakenly, in a rush, called her 'Soman ji" instead of 'Sonam ji." The slip instantly left others present at the place laughing, and even Sonam herself could not stop herself from giggling over the silly mispronunciation. Sonam, without missing a beat, playfully teased him, saying, 'Soman ji accha (Oh! Soman ji)." Then, the photographer corrected himself and called her 'Sonam ji."

When Sonam Bajwa Sweetly Asked Paps Not To Zoom In On Her Face
This hilarious incident came just days after Sonam had a sweet moment with the paparazzi. On August 5, the actress was seen coming out of a venue, holding a glass of what seemed to be her favourite beverage. But before she headed to her car, Sonam had just one simple request. In a sweet manner, she asked the paparazzi not to zoom in on her face. Besides her request, another thing that became the highlight of her appearance was her choice of outfit for the day out in the city. She was seen wearing a vibrant Anarkali suit.

Sholay to be screened at TIFF in 4k restored version

Agency: New Delhi, Aug 10 (PTI) The restored 4k version of one of the greatest films, 'Sholay", which is set to complete its 50th anniversary next week, will be showcased at the Toronto International Film Festival. Directed by Ramesh Sippy and featuring an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Amjad Khan, Jaya Bachchan, and Hema Malini, the film released on August 15, 1975. It failed initially and picked up as the weeks went by, emerging as a classic film over the years. Be it dialogues, the friendship between Amitabh's Jai and Dharmendra's Veeru, Sanjeev Kumar's vengeful turn as Thakur or Amjad Khan's portrayal of the dreaded dacoit Gabbar Singh that went on to redefine the Hindi film villain, 'Sholay" has stayed at the top of the pop culture charts — for five decades and counting. The Film Heritage Foundation shared the announcement of the film's screening in the restored version on its official Instagram handle on Friday, featuring the poster of the film. The event will take place on September 6.
