The Post That Sparked a Conversation
'How to deal with toxicity at work?' Alagh began her post with a question many leaders often face, but few address with honesty.
'People sometimes assume that leadership means always being direct and confrontational with negativity,' she wrote. 'But experience has taught me that sometimes, the smartest move is to play it cool—or better, curious.'
In her post, Alagh recalled a past incident involving subtle resistance during a crucial project. Instead of responding with confrontation, she took a step back, observed, and asked thoughtful questions—allowing intent to surface naturally. 'In most cases, this approach helped the rest of the team see what was really going on,' she added.

"Toxicity Thrives on Reaction": Netizens Applaud Her Wisdom
Alagh's post resonated deeply, drawing praise from across professional circles.
One commenter likened her style to that of a 'calm ninja in the workplace'—quietly slicing through drama with precision. Another noted, 'Toxicity thrives on reaction. The smartest leaders disarm it not with confrontation, but with calm precision and quiet consistency.'
A particularly insightful reply stated, 'Listening can be the most powerful leadership tool we forget to use.' It's a sentiment that echoes the core of Alagh's message: strong leadership is as much about restraint as it is about direction.

Greatest investor? All you need to know about Nancy Pelosi's networth and investments amid insider trading allegations

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has weighed in on the controversy surrounding former House Speaker and current California Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi's wealth. Speaking to the press, Leavitt said, 'She makes, I think, $174,000 a year, yet she has a net worth of approximately $413 million. In 2024, Nancy Pelosi's stock portfolio grew 70%, outperforming every single large hedge fund that year and even more than doubling the returns of Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway.' So, what is Nancy Pelosi's actual net worth? According to a previous report by the New York Post, Pelosi and her venture capitalist husband Paul Pelosi could have a combined net worth of around $413 million—an increase from $370 million in 2023. However, the report also notes that 'Pelosi's exact net worth is not known because lawmakers are only required to disclose in ranges.' The Post report highlighted that Pelosi's actual wealth could be significantly higher when accounting for holdings in a Napa Valley winery, ownership in a political data and consulting firm, and a stake in a Bay Area Italian restaurant. A large portion of the couple's wealth reportedly comes from stock investments and timely trades, primarily conducted in Paul Pelosi's name. As of 2024, Quiver Quantitative estimates their stock holdings at $133.7 million, including shares in major tech firms like Apple, Amazon, Google, and Nvidia. Live Events Despite the controversies, Pelosi has consistently claimed she is not involved in her husband's investment decisions. She also supports a proposed bill to ban stock trading by members of Congress. 'The American people deserve confidence that their elected leaders are serving the public interest — not their personal portfolios,' Pelosi said. Stock trading by lawmakers has long been a bipartisan issue, especially as many have seen their wealth grow while in office. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it emerged that several members of Congress traded stocks based on privileged information before it became public. Existing insider trading laws don't always apply to the kinds of briefings and updates lawmakers receive. The proposed legislation would immediately prohibit elected officials—including the president—from buying stocks. It would also bar them from selling stocks for 90 days after the law is enacted. However, full divestment from covered investments would only be required at the start of the official's next term—effectively exempting a term-limited president from this requirement.

India plans to launch its own human space-flight mission - Gaganyaan - in 2027. He thanked the government, ISRO, Indian Air Force and NASA for their unwavering support, coordination and belief in the mission that made it possible for him to travel to space as a messenger for what is now possible for the nation. Shukla said he was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from across the country. "Nothing could have prepared me for the love and support that came through," he said.
