Addressing the gathering, Dr Veeranjaneya Swamy emphasised the cleanliness of the surroundings. He said that environmental cleanliness is everyone's responsibility.
The minister directed sanitation staff to regularly clean side canals and drains in villages. He urged everyone to plant at least one tree to contribute to environmental protection and called for the conservation of trees and forests.
Because of the current summer season, the minister advised people to consume sufficient cold water and buttermilk while taking necessary precautions against the heat.
He noted that the government has been providing water troughs in fields to ensure water availability for livestock.
Minister DSBV Swamy called upon voluntary organizations and citizens to come forward to set up cooling centres to help quench public thirst during the hot summer months.

Kondapi: Social Welfare Minister Dr Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy stated that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu prioritises public health despite the state government's financial difficulties. On Monday, the minister distributed Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques worth Rs 27.73 lakh to 36 beneficiaries at his camp office in Turpu Nayudupalem. The minister announced that the government aims to transform the state into 'Healthy Andhra Pradesh' through dedicated efforts, including plans for digitizing every citizen's health records with support from the Bill Gates Foundation.

Kondapi Community Health Centre performs first C-section operation
ONGOLE: Social Welfare Minister Dr Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy on Friday appreciated the medical officers and staff of Kondapi Community Health Centre (CHC) for successfully conducting their first caesarean section, resulting in the birth of a healthy baby girl. Medical officers at Kondapi CHC performed the C-section after admitting S Gautami, a pregnant woman from Gurrappadiya village in Kondapi mandal, on Thursday. As complications arose during labour, doctors opted for surgical intervention with the family's consent. Gynecologist Dr K Nagamani, along with Dr Gita, Dr Nikhil, Dr Varun Tej, and the hospital's nursing and support staff, performed the surgery using modern equipment supplied by the government. Both mother and baby are in stable condition. Dola commended the team for their dedication and safe execution of the procedure. 'This achievement reflects the government's commitment to improving healthcare access for the poor and marginalised,' said the Minister. He added that the NDA-led government under Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will continue providing advanced medical equipment and essential medicines to government hospitals across the state.

CMRF cheques worth Rs 72 lakh distributed
Kondapi: Social Welfare Minister Dr Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy strongly criticised YSRCP for allegedly spreading 'poison' against the coalition government's welfare initiatives. He distributed Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques worth Rs 72 lakh to 83 beneficiaries from Kondapi assembly constituency, at his camp office in Turpu Nayudupalem on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, the minister praised Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for saving lives through CMRF assistance and providing healthcare support to the poor through large-scale cheque distributions. He said that the government is doing good work for people, but YSRCP is spewing venom against it. He highlighted the improvements in welfare hostels, noting that the coalition government has spent Rs 143 crore on hostel repairs within a year of coming to power, with 80 per cent of the work completed. The minister criticised the previous YSRCP government for neglecting hostel maintenance and questioned whether former CM Jagan ever considered student welfare during his five-year tenure. He announced plans to provide quality meals with fine rice and cosmetic kits containing 11 items to welfare hostels and Gurukula students. He stated that special medical officers have been appointed in each district for student healthcare, with over 20 students' lives saved through specialised treatment during the last academic year.
