Deadpool, Wolverine and Cable May Be Teaming Up Again in Ryan Reynolds' X-FORCE Marvel Movie — GeekTyrant

Geek Tyrant28-05-2025

Deadpool might be getting the gang back together, but this time, he's not hogging the spotlight.
According to a new rumor making its rounds online, the new Marvel project that Ryan Reynolds is working on might bring together Deadpool, Wolverine, Cable, and Storm for an X-Force -style team-up movie.
As previoulsy reported, Reynolds said that Deadpool will be taking a backseat and serve more as a supporting, comedic player while the spotlight shifts to the larger team dynamic.
This rumor came from industry scooper @MyTimeToShineHello, who claimed on X:
'In the X-Force-style movie Ryan Reynolds is writing, Josh Brolin's Cable and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine are on his team, along with Storm.'
No word yet on who might be playing Storm, though. But, it would be great if Halle Berry came back to reprise her role. That could happen, at this film will be separate from the official MCU X-Men reboot, which Michael Lesslie is writing.
When previously talking about the project, Reynolds explained that he's 'exploring ideas' for a story that puts legacy X-Men characters front and center while keeping Deadpool around for laughs and chaos.
In the comics, X-Force has always been the darker, messier counterpart to the traditional X-Men. Think of them as the sharp-edged solution to mutant problems the X-Men wouldn't touch. If the movie leans into that it could be a fun adventure!
If the rumors are true, it looks like we're in for one hell of an exciting mutant reunion. There's a wild a fun dynamic here!

Jordan Chiles 'finally' feels good about her skin

Jordan Chiles has taken 22 years to "embrace" her complexion. The 24-year-old gymnast has suffered from acne in the past but she feels a lot more positive about her skin these days. She told Refinery29: 'I have [acne] scars here and there, but now I'm finally at a point where I'm positive with myself and my skin. 'Literally, it took me 22 years to finally be like, look, Jordan, you're a gorgeous girl. You have beautiful skin. Embrace that.' The Olympian tries to keep her routine simple when it comes to looking after her sensitive skin. She said: 'A majority of the time, I only use a good cleanser, an exfoliator, and then a nice, silky moisturiser. 'I keep it very simple, but make sure everything is hydrated and my skin looks good and glowy.' Jordan is the new face of Hero Cosmetics and she's a huge fan of their Mighty Patch hydrocolloid stickers. She said: 'People always ask me, 'What do you do for your skincare?' So I was really happy Hero wanted me to be one of their ambassadors. Whether it's dark spots or a pimple that's coming up and I want it gone, I've always loved Mighty Patch... "I have Mighty Patches in every bag, my car, my room, and probably in five different bathrooms." Asked her favourites, she replied: 'Literally all of them, but since I go to practice a lot, [I love] the invisible ones and the dark spot ones with the prickly points.' And Jordan also loves Hero's Pore Purity Cleansing Clay Mask, which features sea clay and sea kelp bio-ferment to decongest skin. She said: 'It makes my face so soft — I love it. I've been recently using it two to three times a week to get my pores in the right way and all that stuff.' When she is competing, Jordan hasn't been afraid to be "glam" with nail art and fluttery lashes firm features of her look. She said: 'My older sister, who is my hair and makeup artist, definitely gave me a perspective of understanding that glam is something to enjoy, have fun with, and be creative."

Marvel Rumor Hints How Doctor Doom Plans to Beat Avengers in Doomsday

A new leak hints at Doctor Doom's strategy in Avengers: Doomsday, suggesting a pivotal link between the events of The Fantastic Four: First Steps and the next Avengers film. The report teases Doom's interest in Franklin Richards and alludes to a larger plan unfolding across multiple realities. It offers early clues about how the Fantastic Four's arrival may shape the MCU's multiverse storyline. According to a scoop posted by industry insider @MyTimeToShineH on X (formerly Twitter), 'Doom will take Franklin Richards and will use him for his plans,' referencing events expected to unfold across The Fantastic Four: First Steps and the upcoming Avengers film. This alleged development may come from the post-credits scene of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Doom reportedly appears sitting near Franklin Richards as Sue Storm walks into the room. This scene could serve as a setup for the next Avengers film and explain why the Fantastic Four leave Earth-828 for Earth-616. Another theory suggests Doom may use Franklin's cosmic powers instead of stealing from the Beyonders. This resembles the 2015 Secret Wars comic, where Doom gains immense power until Franklin reclaims it and rebuilds the multiverse. There is also speculation that Franklin will trigger a soft reboot of the MCU after Secret Wars. The story may show Doom using Franklin's powers to reshape reality for his own vision of order. In a recent Instagram post from the set of Avengers: Doomsday, Robert Downey Jr. shared his character prep materials. Among them was Doom #1 by Jonathan Hickman. In the comic, Doom absorbs Celestial powers to fight a rampaging Galactus. This may hint at similar high-stakes action in the upcoming films. Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027.
