Inside Kian Egan and wife Jodi Albert's love story as singer posts birthday tribute

While many know Kian as a member of Westlife, his wife has also been heavily involved in the entertainment business; previously being a member of girl groups Girl Thing and Wonderland, and playing Debbie Dean in Hollyoaks.
The couple (sort of) met in 1999, when a 19-year-old Kian met a 15-year-old Jodi backstage at Party in the Park when Jodi was in Girl Thing; with Kian previously saying that he asked their manager Simon Cowell, who was standing beside him, who she was.
Nothing came of the encounter until four years later, with Kian and Jodi sharing their first kiss. While Jodi was in a relationship when they kissed, she has since joked that she's off the hook as she kissed her future husband. View this post on Instagram

In 2009, Kian and Jodi wed in a lavish ceremony in Barbados — where they spent their first holiday together six years earlier — with them welcoming their first child into the world, son Koa, in 2011.
In 2015, the couple welcomed their second son, Zekey, into the world, while their third son Cobi was born in 2017. The couple currently reside in Strandhill, Sligo.
Taking to his Instagram on Wednesday, Kian wrote a touching tribute to Jodi as she walked the pair's dogs and posed with the pooches, saying 'What an amazing day we had yesterday celebrating my amazing wife @jodialbert on her birthday. "I decided the joy that performing brings me far outweighs the fleeting stress my body was feeling. I'm so glad I kept going," he reflected. "Sharing all of this with the hope that we can all find a way to be more connected," he wrote. "I'd like to do my part to help others experiencing this disease, too." The singer, 35, whose hit song Hold My Hand features in the advert, said the social media post made her feel 'sick'. It comes after the White House posted a video to social media of people being handcuffed and escorted on to a plane, alongside the caption: 'When ICE books you a one-way Jet2 holiday to deportation. Nothing beats it!.' The caption makes reference to the accompanying voiceover, which says: 'Nothing beats a Jet2holiday, and right now you can save £50 per person…' The audio has become a meme in recent weeks and has been used in more than 1.9 million videos on TikTok. In a post to her Instagram story, Glynne said: 'This post honestly makes me feel sick. My music is about love, unity, and spreading positivity – never about division or hate.' Earlier this month, Glynne met voiceover star Zoe Lister on Capital Breakfast to recreate the advert live on the radio. Glynne told the station: 'It's mad because I feel like when I do my gigs, I feel like when I go to sing the hook, I feel like they're waiting for me to go 'nothing beats a Jet2 holiday.' It is tempting but I need to take this seriously, it can't be a joke.'
