John Cena is retiring a the end of the year and will be wrestling a series of matches before 2025 is up. He has already finished as runner-up in the 2025 Royal Rumble match, but Bron Breakker has warned that he'll want to stay out of his way if Cena wants to make it to the end of the year.
While speaking with MuscleManMalcolm, Bron Breakker fired his warning towards the 16-time world champion. The WWE Intercontinental Champion said that if he were John Cena, he wouldn't want to face Bron Breakker.
He noted that John Cena being 47 is one reason why the bout would be such a mismatch.
'I just don't think it's very wise for John Cena. You know, a lot of things have changed since SummerSlam. I know this is his farewell tour, his last year, and everyone is celebrating the last year of John Cena.'
'But if he wants to make it to the end of that year—or even the end of this run—he probably should just stay away from me. I wouldn't want to face me if I was him. If I was 47 years old, I would not want to face me.'
Bron Breakker looks back on his viral moment with IShowSpeed at WWE Royal Rumble.
At WWE Royal Rumble, WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker blasted IShowSpeed with a Spear. The clip of the Spear became the most-viewed Royal Rumble clip of all time.
Speaking with Joe Baiamonte for Pubity, Bron Breakker reflected on the viral moment.
'It was a great moment,' Breakker said. 'And it got out there and went viral. It's a [moment] him and I will probably remember for a long time for different reasons.'
Breakker continued, 'Everyone was aware of where we were going to go with that segment. But some of that stuff, you can't teach or go over or rehearse or none of that. Sometimes you just gotta let people go. And that was one of those scenarios where you just have to let talent go be talent and go and execute. The objective was to have a viral moment, to have a moment that gets out there and people talk about and we did that.'
