Mouni Roy recalls terrifying night when a stranger tried to break into her hotel room: ‘I started screaming'
Bollywood actor Mouni Roy, who is currently promoting her film The Bhootnii, recently recalled a terrifying incident during an interview with Bollywood Bubble. She shared that a stranger once tried to break into her room in the middle of the night, leaving her screaming in fear. Recalling the unsettling incident, Mouni said, "I was in a small town — I can't remember exactly which one, and I don't want to name it incorrectly. Someone actually stole a key and tried to open my room. Thankfully, I wasn't alone; I was with my manager. I immediately started screaming when we realised what was happening."
She went on to question the hotel staff's casual approach to the serious security breach and added, "Then we tried calling the receptionist. They casually said it must have been housekeeping. I questioned them — who in housekeeping comes to open a door without knocking, without ringing the bell, and that too at 12:30 in the night?'
Mouni Roy began her acting career with the television show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. However, she gained fame later for her portrayal of Sati in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev and Shivanya in Naagin. She went on to entertain audiences in films like Gold and Brahmāstra, earning critical praise for her performances.
Mouni will next be seen in the horror film The Bhootnii, which also stars Sanjay Dutt in the lead role. She plays a ghost named Mohabbat. Directed by Sidhaant Sachdev and produced by Deepak Mukut and Sanjay Dutt, the film also features Palak Tiwari, Sunny Singh, and Navneet Malik in key roles. It is scheduled for release in cinemas on 1 May. The film will clash at the box office with Ajay Devgn's Raid 2, which also stars Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in pivotal roles.

Aalim recalled that he did mess up though and then Abhishek began firing the prop gun on the ground. One prop bullet unintentionally hit him. "How it hurt… I couldn't walk for 10 days. After the incident, the other actors told Abhishek, 'Because of your jokes, we don't have anyone to do our hair also now'. AB is a big prankster, and are also big pranksters,' Aalim said. The hairstylist continues to share a great rapport with Abhishek over the years and had just recently dropped some photos as he showed the actor's new hairstyle. Aalim has not only styled many celebrities off screen but also created some of the most iconic on-screen looks for stars in many movies, for example, in 'Animal' among many others. Aalim said in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, "This is the price for everyone. This is the minimum price, actually. If a person wants Aalim Hakim to cut their hair, Rs 1 lakh is minimum. This is a per-sitting cost. If I'm called for 10 or 15 sittings, then the cost goes up to Rs 10 lakh or Rs 15 lakh. It's a metre down situation. It's not like I'm forcing anybody to pay, but this is my consultation fee.' He further said that he doesn't charge close friends but follows proper paper work with gst of Rs 18,000 for professional assignments. He said, "If they will earn through the project, then I have a right to earn as well." Aalim revealed that clients are also ready to pay more - around Rs 3-5 lakhs. He said, "They pay because they see the results on screen. If they weren't seeing the results, why would they pay? I'm not the only person in town. So many of my assistants have gone on to start their own businesses, and people hire them thinking that they've been trained by me. Everyone goes to school, but not everyone becomes iconic. If this were the case, everybody would become as talented as after watching his movies.' Aalim further added that he's worked really hard to be here. "It has taken so much hard work. Nobody remembers who the richest star was five decades ago, but everyone remembers Dilip Kumar. I want people to remember me for my work."
