The Summer I Turned Pretty has kicked off its third and final season, with main character Belly Conklin still at the heart of a brutal love triangle.
Adapted from showrunner Jenny Han's beloved YA novels, the latest series follows Belly (played by Lola Tung) as she navigates life as a university student.
Alongside school work, she is also juggling a long-term relationship with Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno).
But when Belly's ex-boyfriend and Jeremiah's older brother, Conrad (played by Christopher Briney), returns into their lives, she is forced to face her unresolved feelings for the older Fisher brother.

While the series packs plenty of its drama on its own, Prime Video viewers have also grown to appreciate the show's impressive soundtrack.
It has also become tradition for the series to drop Easter Eggs through needle drops, especially when it comes to Taylor Swift songs.
Below, we've detailed The Summer I Turned Pretty's season three soundtrack so far, and explained what *that* Taylor Swift song could mean for the characters. Dreams by the Cranberries
Open Arms by SZA
Can't Stop by the Red Hot Chili Peppers

You're Losing Me (From the Vault) by Taylor Swift
Episode 1's Taylor Swift song spells trouble for Team Jeremiah (Image: Prime Video )
The series premiere ended on a sour note as Belly discovered that Jeremiah had cheated on her while on Spring Break in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. As Belly ran away from Jeremiah, who was desperately trying to explain himself, Swift's You're Losing Me began playing.
The song's lyrics detail a long-term relationship that is on the brink of collapse, despite the singer's efforts to keep it alive. If this song signifies Belly's state of mind, it appears she has been fighting to keep her relationship with Jeremiah strong, but his betrayal may be the final straw.
What's more, lyrics in the song's bridge could be hinting at Jeremiah and Belly calling off their engagement, which takes place in the second episode. Swift sings: "And I wouldn't marry me either. A pathological people pleaser."
You're Losing Me is the only Swift song featured in the season so far, which could mean Team Jeremiah are in for an unsatisfying ending. lacy by Olivia Rodrigo
i wish i hated you by Ariana Grande
Rockin Around the Christmas Tree' by Brenda Lee
Never Going Back Again by Fleetwood Mac

The Summer I Turned Pretty – Season 3 Episode 4 'Last Stand' Recap & Review

Episode 4 Episode 4 of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 begins two weeks after the lunch disaster, where Belly and Jeremiah told their families they're getting married. And four weeks before the big event takes place. Jeremiah is doing an internship with his father and Belly is working shifts at a restaurant. It's Belly's birthday today! Jeremiah calls her up and wishes her. They discuss how they're saving up for the wedding. After the call, Belly heads downstairs and receives a breakfast surprise from her parents. She tries asking Laurel to come wedding dress shopping with her but Laurel refuses. Laurel still thinks the wedding is a mistake and is intent on changing Belly's mind. Jeremiah tries to speak to his father but gets a cold shoulder in return. He's also being called a nepo baby at work, to make things worse. Jeremiah then asks Steven to be his best man. He's excited but asks Jeremiah to keep his participation a secret for now. Meanwhile, Taylor and her mother tried to sort out their finances. But when Belly calls and asks Taylor to come wedding shopping, they decide to meet her. They look for white dresses in regular stores and after a lot of trial and error, Belly finds her wedding dress! But she's upset that she had to do this without her mother. She later calls Jeremiah and asks how they're going to do this without both of their moms. That night, Jeremiah makes a surprise visit at Belly's house with a cake and a gift – a key to the summer house. He's also got flowers for Laurel and tries to talk to her about the wedding. But she stands her ground and asks them to at least wait till school. However, things spiral into a fight between Belly and Laurel, with Laurel saying she can't watch Belly make such a stupid mistake. Belly decides to leave the house for good after this. The two end up at the Cousins summer house. In the morning, they're surprised to see Conrad there. Turns out, he's been staying there the whole time and continues to lie to them about the summer job, saying it will start soon. Belly considers going back to either of her parents' houses but Jeremiah insists he's fine with her staying at Cousins. While out on a run, Agnes calls Conrad and tells him he got the internship at Garth. When he returns to the house, he and Jeremiah go out surfing. Jeremiah brings up the wedding and soon realises Conrad thinks they're getting married too soon. He storms back to the house and tells Belly what happened. When Belly texts her father, he confronts Laurel. He urges Laurel to let Belly make her own mistakes and makes it clear that if the wedding happens, he'll be there. Meanwhile, Conrad buys a flight ticket back west. Over the weekend, Steven and Denise meet in the office for some extra work and end up connecting with each other. Belly says goodbye to Jeremiah who is headed back to work. Realising how hard it is to say goodbye, she decides to cancel her Paris trip and stay with him. Steven then calls Taylor and says he looked into Scott some more. Turns out he opened some lines of credit in Lucinda's name, leaving her with a huge debt. He offers to help pay but she shuts him down. As Belly looks at her old debutant ball dress in her room, she recalls the first time she stayed there. Susannah had done the room up for her but Belly got scared on her own at night. Laurel hugged her all night. At present, Belly cries thinking about her mother. Conrad sees her but he's on his way to the airport and he doesn't say anything. Back home, Taylor tells Lucinda she's not going for the New York internship and has even paid half her mother's debt. Belly wakes up from a nap to see a text from Jeremiah that says Conrad is in and has agreed to be best man. Belly goes downstairs and sees him still there. He says Belly and Jeremiah look happy together. He's even baked Belly some birthday goodies which earns him a hug from her. As she hugs him, he thinks to himself, 'What have I done?' The Episode Review The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 4 continues to be a bit of a drag. We get to see the fallout of Belly and Jeremiah's decision and naturally, no one is very happy about it. Laurel and Belly's relationship takes the strongest hit here and the issues between the mother and daughter feel quite compelling, in part due to Jackie Chung's compelling performance as a concerned mother who is at her wits' end. Overall though, the pace is slow and watching Belly and Jeremiah struggle isn't very engaging. This is largely due to the same reason the previous episode didn't hit the spot — this wedding has been rushed and their relationship isn't convincing enough to warrant it, particularly due to the cheating plotline. If Belly and Jeremiah could convince us of deep romance and everlasting love, like other stories about young marriages have done before, the episode would be a better watch. But as it stands, they do feel like kids rushing headlong into something they don't understand. Even more so when Belly cancels her Paris trip. Funnily enough, the part of the episode that hits the most is Conrad changing his mind, just because he can't stand seeing Belly crying. Rob Mac hits back at Tom Brady's X-rated rant as Wrexham vs Birmingham heats up

Tom Brady's fiery jab at Wrexham has sparked a response from one of the club's owners as their rivalry with Birmingham intensifies ahead of the new Championship campaign Rob Mac has hit back at an X-rated rant by NFL legend Tom Brady as the rivalry between Wrexham and Birmingham City heats up. The Red Dragons and the Blues went head-to-head last season in a battle for promotion from League One. ‌ While both sides ultimately achieved their aim, Birmingham came out on top after lifting the title with a record haul of 111 points. Wrexham still went up automatically, though, after finishing second. ‌ The competition between the two clubs was spiced up last term as Wrexham's Hollywood co-owners, Mac and Ryan Reynolds, exchanged jibes with Birmingham minority stakeholder Brady. That tradition looks set to continue in the Championship after a clip of the former New England Patriots quarterback calling out the Welsh side was shared on social media by the Blues. ‌ The footage was captured just before Birmingham's 3-1 home win over Wrexham in September last year. Brady was in attendance to enjoy the game at St Andrew's alongside David Beckham, while Mac, who recently legally changed his last name from McElhenney, looked on glumly nearby. Ahead of the match, Brady was filmed saying: "Let's go get a f***ing win against Wrexham. Those little [unknown expletives], we're coming for your ass. Ryan Reynolds, McElry, whatever the f*** your name is." The video was posted online by Birmingham earlier this week to preview the release of their new documentary. The series, named 'Built In Birmingham: Brady & The Blues' is due out on August 1 on Amazon Prime Video. Its airing comes following the success of the Red Dragons' own docuseries, ' Welcome To Wrexham ', which streams on Disney+. The show has proved to be a smash hit, winning several Primetime Emmy Awards and has just finished its fourth season, with a fifth already commissioned. Mac was quick to react as he shared the clip on Instagram Stories, alongside the caption: "Further proof that @wrexham_afc has @tombrady sweatin'". ‌ Wrexham and Birmingham will renew hostilities in the second tier next season as they prepare to meet at the Racecourse Ground on October 3. The return leg at St. Andrews is scheduled for April 26. Both sides have been busy bolstering their squads since rising out of League One and are among the bookies' favourites to challenge for promotion again next term. But former Wrexham striker Matt Jansen believes Birmingham are more suited to life in the Championship after claiming his old club could find it difficult to compete. ‌ Speaking to OLBG, the ex-Blackburn Rovers player said: "I've got Wrexham down to struggle next season. There is a lot of quality in the Championship and it's a massive step up. Every league is a step up, but League One to Championship in particular is a very big step. "I'd favour Birmingham to do better than Wrexham next season and I think Wrexham will find it very difficult. I wouldn't count Birmingham out. They are a strong side who have signed well, and they will be in the mix. "Anything can happen once you're down in the doldrums of the bottom six. It can create a negative atmosphere and vibe around the place, it's a fight for survival." He added: "They [Wrexham] could get sucked into it, although they may spend their way out of it in the next window. But I don't think it will be as easy for them this season." 'Spectacular' Netflix sci-fi epic that cost '$20m an episode' issues major season 2 update

Netflix have confirmed some major casting news for the popular series Netflix has issued a major update over its 'spectacular' sci-fi epic that reportedly costs $20 million an episode for its second season. ‌ The streamer has announced new cast members joining the next instalment of 3 Body Problem. The series is an adaptation of Liu Cixin's saga of novels. ‌ Netflix have now confirmed Claudia Doumit, who fans may recognise as playing the part of Victoria Neuman in Prime Video series The Boys, is one key addition. They will take on the part of Captain Van Rijn. ‌ In addition, Wolf Hall and The Serpent star Ellie De Lange will also be joining for season two. They are confirmed to be taking on the role of Ayla. Each are confirmed as new series regulars. 3 Body Problem was created for television and co-written by the same minds behind Game of Thrones in David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, alongside Alexander Woo. Woo has previously worked on the hit show True Blood. ‌ According to the show's synopsis, season one follows a young woman's fateful decision in 1960s China which reverberates across space and time into the present day. When the laws of nature inexplicably unravel before their eyes, a close-knit group of brilliant scientists join forces with an unorthodox detective to confront the greatest threat in humanity's history. Not many details have been released about the second season's story so far. The only thing confirmed is that events will pick up as the alien invasion nears, with humanity left to prepare on Earth and elsewhere. ‌ The first season of the drama series spent three weeks at No.1 and 7 weeks on the Netflix Global Top 10, where it reached the Top 10 in 93 countries and sent three songs from its soundtrack to Billboard's Top TV Songs Chart, including Lana Del Rey's 'Video Games' at #1. 3 Body Problem was received positively by critics and fans alike, registering a 79% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. One reviewer claimed: "Visually spectacular and a good cast — Benedict Wong in particular." A report by Forbes claimed that the entire show's budget was in the region of $233 million. With its eight episode season, that means the average cost of each episode is believed to be between $20-29million. ‌ Many fans still sing its praises, with one posting: "Netflix's The Three-Body Problem is one of the most gripping sci-fi shows I've seen in a long time. It's brilliantly written, visually stunning, and packed with tension that keeps you hooked from start to finish." They continued: "A lot of people seem eager to criticise it by comparing it to the books, but honestly, my advice is to forget all that. Don't go in expecting it to mirror the source material perfectly. Just let the show take you on its own journey—you won't regret it" Another added: "It has mind blowing and refreshing plot with a brilliant cast and crew. The storyline itself is intriguing , like aliens and AI, it was out of the box idea." 3 Body Problem is streaming on Netflix.
