Monday's episode of Coronation Street saw Mick Michaelis go on a furious rampage after finding out 16-year-old Brody might not be his biological son.
Mick turned violent as he demanded answers from wife Lou Michaelis about her past with their former pal, Kit Green.
Corrie viewers got an upsetting insight into Lou's domestic abuse from Mick - which left the residents on the cobbles worried for Lou's safety.
Meanwhile, Craig Tinker was determined to prove himself on the first day of his CID training.
He pulled over Mick at the Weatherfield Precinct for drink-driving.
Hellbent on getting revenge on Kit, Mick violently attacked Craig with a bat and left him for dead.
Wednesday's episode of the ITV soap will see Craig rushed to hospital and desperately try to make his police colleagues aware of who was responsible for attacking him.
Craig Tinker actor Colson Smith said: "I can't wait for people to see Craig's final scenes. It is exactly the exit I wanted for him and we are all really proud of what we filmed in those final weeks.
"It was actually great fun. I was walking around covered in fake blood for days and I was chuffed that I got to work with so many brilliant people in this final storyline."
Coronation Street's Colson Smith reveals which cobbles icon he filmed his final scenes with
Back in March, The Sun revealed how Colson's character Craig would be killed off in a dramatic storyline.
A source told us: "Craig has grown up on the street and he's become part of it so it was a tough decision to make but one that will be worth it.
"PC Tinker will meet his maker in heroic circumstances this summer and there won't be a dry eye in the house when it goes out.
"Colson is taking it well and there's a real feeling that this chapter is closing for him and there are bigger and brighter things ahead."
The 26-year-old actor was one of several stars who have been axed from the ITV soap.
Corrie is gearing up for a number of exits for some iconic characters this summer, including Eileen Grimhshaw is set to exit the cobbles with actress Sue Cleaver quitting the soap after an incredible 25 years.
The soap has already seen several characters depart the cobbles from the likes of Daisy Midgeley to Mason Radcliffe.
Coronation Street is facing a financial crisis due to soaring production costs, a decline in advertising revenue, and a drop in viewing figures, leading to budget cuts and cast departures.
Consequently, ITV is reducing the length of both Coronation Street and Emmerdale episodes from hour-long to 30-minute installments, starting in January 2026.
This change will create a "soaps power hour" where Emmerdale airs at 8pm, followed by Coronation Street at 8:30pm each weeknight.
But with ratings falling and viewers switching to streamers like Netflix, soap stars are fearing the axe - should they be worried?
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 or stream from 7am on ITVX.

Coronation Street's Todd makes another shock discovery about Theo
Falling for scaffolder Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) hasn't been easy for Coronation Street's Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce). From the outset there was a strong attraction between them and instant chemistry, but it was soon apparent that Theo was having difficulties with the situation. It wasn't long before Todd found out that Theo was struggling to come to terms with his sexuality and had been basically trying to ignore the fact that he's gay for most of his life. Soon Todd made the additional discovery that Theo is married to a woman called Danielle (Natalie Anderson) and has two teenage children. Despite these complications, and revealing that he endured conversion therapy when he was younger, Theo has decided that his future is with Todd and he's not going to hide who he is any longer. Things are far from plain sailing for Todd and Theo's relationship, even so. Theo's daughter Millie (Kaitlyn Earley) has recently dropped the bombshell that she's pregnant, and Theo has moved back to the family home to support her, leaving Todd feeling frustrated that the relationship always seems to be two steps forward and one step back. 'The stakes are quite high immediately because of what Theo is potentially giving up for the relationship, but also because of what Todd is putting on the relationship as well,' Gareth Pierce told Metro at the British Soap Awards. 'The stakes are high for Todd because he actually really wants this one to work. There's lots to come.' In upcoming episodes Theo tries his best to reassure Todd that he does value their relationship and sees his future with Todd, while warning him that he'll always have to prioritise his kids, whatever happens. Rolling Stones have 'recorded huge new album' after scrapping upcoming tour
The Rolling Stones, which consists of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, are said to have been working on a new album after deciding to scrap plans for a European tour The Rolling Stones are said to be working on a new album after reportedly deciding to scrap plans for a comeback tour in Europe. It's claimed that the group have more than a dozen songs ready to go after spending time in the studio. Bandmates Mick Jagger, 81, Keith Richards, 81, and Ronnie Wood, 78, are said to have been working in Metropolis Studios in London since April. It's reported that they are now in discussions over the release of their 25th studio album. It's been suggested that the trio have collaborated again with producer Andrew Watt. He worked with the Rolling Stones on their last album Hackney Diamonds, which topped the UK Albums Chart following its release back in 2023. According to the Sun, Mick, Keith, and Ronnie are working on the new album after scrapping plans for a summer tour in the UK and other countries. The band's potential European tour had been rumoured earlier this year. A source told the outlet: "Mick, Keith and Ronnie have been secretly recording their new record with their drummer Steve Jordan." It's claimed that the band are "happy" with 13 songs and are discussing when to release it. The source went on to discuss the rumoured tour, saying that it didn't work out. They said: "Originally, the plan was for them to bring their huge US tour to the UK and Europe this summer, but promoters couldn't get the dates to work." They continued: "Instead the Stones decided to get back into the studio and put down their next album." The source suggested that it's "massive" news for fans who didn't get a chance to see the acclaimed band perform live this year. There was speculation over a possible tour in January. It was suggested at the time that the band could return to the UK with their Hackney Diamonds tour to play four dates at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the capital city. A source told the Daily Mail that Mick, Keith and Ronnie couldn't wait to bring the tour to the UK. They said: "They've been planning it for months and are itching to get back out on the road and do what they do best, which is perform." Prior to subsequent reports that the tour plans had been shelved, it was initially suggested that they would also visit other locations in Europe. There was speculation that the other shows would be in Barcelona, Rome, Amsterdam and Paris. The speculation came following the Rolling Stones' Hackney Diamonds in the US and Canada last year. The trio performed at a host of venues, including SoFi Stadium in Inglewood and BC Place in Vancouver, whilst on the tour. The tour was in support of their album Hackney Diamonds, which was released the previous year. It was their eighth studio album to top the charts in the UK, following in the footsteps of albums like Aftermath and Emotional Rescue. The Mirror has approached the Stones spokesperson for comment.
