Demi Lovato to release her first cookbook
The 32-year-old star - who has been open about her struggles with eating disorders - will release ONE PLATE AT A TIME: Recipes for Finding Freedom with Food on March 31, 2026.
A description for the book reads: "Demi Lovato's cooking journey started when she was almost 30. After years of navigating a challenging relationship with food, she found that learning to cook - discovering how to truly nourish herself in mind, body, and spirit - was a revelation.
"It was in the kitchen, experimenting with flavours, connecting with loved ones, and channeling her creativity in a new way - that she truly began to appreciate and celebrate the joy of food."
Demi's cookbook will feature over 80 recipes ranging "from breakfast to dinner, comfort foods to fast food-inspired favourites, soups to salads, and even go-to sweet treats."
The synopsis continues: "Filled with beautiful food photography as well as snapshots that give fans a peek into Demi's home life, personal anecdotes, pantry tips, and cooking hacks, this is a cookbook for Demi Lovato fans, for people who struggle to enjoy food without guilt, and for anyone looking for a gentler, more grounded approach to cooking.
"One Plate at a Time is Demi's set list for a delicious new way of thinking about food and how it fits into our lives."
The former Disney star has previously alluded to her love for cooking and believes that making meals at home is "the biggest f*** you" to her eating disorder.
Lovato - who has also suffered from mental health and substance abuse issues - told Penn Badgley's Podcrushed podcast last year: "The main thing that I'm working on is just body acceptance, and looking in the mirror and being like, 'This body is strong... This body saved my life and fought for my life when I overdosed. This body is a miracle.'"
The Cool for the Summer singer explained that she is trying to learn "body acceptance" after her eating disorder battles.
She said: "I have a treatment team that I work with that helps me stay in recovery, and I've been in recovery from bulimia for five, going on six, years now.
"I'm trying to learn body acceptance rather than body positivity, because body positivity feels like, 'I can't even reach that yet.' I have a nutritionist and a therapist that specialises in eating disorders."

During an appearance on Penn Badgley's Podcrushed podcast, Joe explained: "Famously we were known for like purity rings, which were something in the community of a church where that was like what everybody else in our age were doing around 10, 11 years old, like, we're going to wait for the right person ... "One person on an interview when you're 15, 16 [years old] would ask you about it, and you're like: 'I don't want to talk about this,' and then they're like: 'Well, I'm going to write that you guys are in a cult'." Joe went on to say: "Whether it was sex, or it was even religion or Christianity, [they'd be] questioning things like questioning if I believe in God, what is God? Is there even a God? And it's on the record. "And you're like, uh ... and so you felt the pressure,. I can definitely speak for all three of us here. [We] felt the pressure of being like: 'Well, we have to live these lives because we kind of said it in a paper once. And it's in print, so you [have] got to do it forever.' "

Details of Lilo and Stitch star David H.K. Bell's death revealed in autopsy report
David H.K. Bell suffered with four "pathological diagnoses" at the time of his death, according to his autopsy report. The Lilo and Stitch actor - who was credited as Big Hawaiian Dude in the 2025 live-action remake of the 2002 Disney movie - died on June 12 in Hawaii aged 46, and now new details around the late star's tragic passing. As reported by PEOPLE magazine, Bell's autopsy report listed acute respiratory failure, sepsis, hypertensive/atherosclerotic heart disease, and morbid obesity, among its findings. Atherosclerosis is caused by fats, cholesterol and other substances building up in or on the artery walls, and it leads to the narrowing of the arteries, which blocks blood flow or burst, causing a blood clot. Elsewhere in the autopsy - carried out at Kona Community Hospital in Kealakekua, Hawaii, on June 19 and completed on July 10 - the report found Bell also suffered from stasis dermatitis and edema. Stasis dermatitis is a skin condition that causes an individual's lower legs to become swollen or inflamed due to poor blood circulation in the legs. Edema is a condition that causes swelling in a person's body because fluid is trapped in tissues, often in someone's feet, ankles and legs. The autopsy report revealed Bell "complained of difficulty breathing" before his death. Medical intervention efforts, as well as resuscitation attempts, took place. And the exam also discovered Bell had defibrillator (AED) pads on his chest, an airway in his mouth, a blood pressure cuff on his right upper arm, and IV line in his left arm. Bell also had an intraosseous needle in his lower left leg. The outlet noted that the exam is a "coroner's case" and that it does not give a cause or manner of death. The actor's sister, Jalene Kanani Bell, confirmed his death in a Facebook post on June 15. She wrote: "It is with a heavy heart I share that my sweet, generous, talented, funny, brilliant and handsome little brother David H. K. Bell will spend today in the company of our Heavenly Father. "I've been waiting for the words and mindset to properly express the joy of a human, and Prince of a Man he was, but fate pushed my hand this morning by a pre-scheduled Father's Day newsletter honoring the men in our lives. "I met my little brother at the age of 18, on my high school graduation day, it was the most amazing surprise which I had been asking for for years, that our mom's made happen for us, and that gift has lasted a lifetime. "While I didn't grow up with a Father, David gave me all the unconditional love I could possibly ask for and I believe that all his family and friends received the same from him. "He was always so proud of me, his nieces and his grandnephew, constantly engaged and always coming up with fun activities to get-together. We looked forward to going to Tatihi and the Lindsey reunion together to create more family connections. (sic)"

THE TWISTED TALE OF AMANDA KNOX NEW EPISODES WEDNESDAYS, DISNEY+ It's understandable why Amanda Knox would want to make this eight-part retelling of her arrest, trial, conviction, demonisation and eventual exoneration for the 2007 murder of her British flatmate, Meredith Kercher, while studying in picturesque Perugia. The salacious story with sex, drugs and even Satanism that saw her dubbed Foxy Knoxy and spend four years in an Italian jail is absolutely hers to tell after all the indignities and injustices she suffered. Knox herself is on board as an executive producer for this well told dramatisation that draws from her books Waiting To Be Heard and Free and it's presented as her chance to correct her 'often mistold and madly twisted tale'. By the same token, the producers are at pains to point out that liberties have been taken with characters and timelines and that knowledge – after movies inspired by the case and a 2016 Netflix documentary – can make it sometimes uneasy viewing. Kercher's sister last year said it was 'difficult to understand' the purpose of series that puts the awfulness front and centre and again – and she has a point. This new true crime drama offers almost visceral insights into the bewilderment of American student Amanda Knox as she finds herself wrongly accused of murdering her British friend Meredith Kercher in 2007. The trial, imprisonment and subsequent exoneration of Knox, which made headlines around the globe, are all detailed in this new series starring Grace Van Patten as Knox and Bad Sisters' creator Sharon Horgan as her devoted mum. Certainly, Knox is an imperfect victim. Her response to the tragedy – canoodling with her boyfriend at the crime scene, doing cartwheels in the police station and pointing the finger of blame at her boss during a 'confession' – is far from textbook. And that's partly what makes this series so compelling. There's veteran Steve, who is dragging an excavator through 1000km of blistering heat and rutted roads to an amethyst mine. Mike is delivering much needed firefighting equipment to a remote community, and performing emergency surgery on his malfunctioning rig. And Sludge is on the comeback trail after an accident and feeling the pressure to turn up on time for a very short shutdown window of the only rail line between the east and west sides of the country.
