Ozzy Osbourne's final wish before death fulfilled by Sharon in moving moment

Daily Record22-07-2025
Ozzy Osbourne has passed away at the age of 76, surrounded by his close family including wife Sharon, just weeks after he performed on stage for the final time with Black Sabbath
Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne's death was announced today with a brief but heartfelt statement released by his devastated family. It disclosed that the Black Sabbath icon's relatives, including his devoted wife of more than 40 years Sharon, had assembled around him in Birmingham for one last time as he tragically passed away.

It came just weeks after the frontman took to the stage for the final time during his Back to the Beginning performance at Aston Villa's ground, Villa Park.

The family statement said: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love."

"We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis."
The family statement was accompanied by a location marker, declaring: "Birmingham, England July 22, 2025" - revealing that Ozzy managed to return home one final time, the Mirror reports.

Ozzy and Sharon had discussed wanting to move back to the UK from Los Angeles before the rocker's declining health. Ozzy declared he was "desperate to come home". Whilst they had hoped to move previously, continuing health problems for Ozzy had postponed the relocation.
Despite the setbacks, the pair were anticipated to settle back into their Buckinghamshire residence.
Ozzy had expressed his wish to return to England way back in August 2022 following more than two decades in Los Angeles as he stated: "everything's f***ing ridiculous (in America)."

He also pointed to gun violence in the country as another factor behind his wish to relocate. "Everything's f***ing ridiculous [in America]. I'm fed up with people getting killed every day," he previously told The Observer.
'God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings. And there was that mass shooting in Vegas at that concert. … it's f***ing crazy.'

However, the relocation was postponed for years due to Ozzy's deteriorating health.
Chatting to Planet Rock's Loz Guest about Black Sabbath's star-studded Back to the Beginning gig on 5th July, Sharon confirmed that the performance had provided Ozzy with the opportunity to return home.
She said: "He's coming over in March. His brothers (in Black Sabbath), he's excited to be here with them."

When asked if they're still planning a permanent move back to the UK, Sharon responded: "Yeah, we are."
The Back to the Beginning gig was described as Ozzy's "final performance" before his retirement. He started the performance by saying: 'Let me hear you. Are you ready? Let the madness begin!'

The legendary rocker spent the performance on a black throne, as his band mates - Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward - performed around him.
Ozzy told the crowd: 'It's so good to be on this f****** stage. You have no idea. I f****** love you all. Let me see your hands in the air. You are the best, each and every one of you. God bless you all.'
In an emotional moment, Ozzy said: "I don't know what to say, man, I've been laid up for like six years. You have no idea how I feel – thank you from the bottom of my heart. You're all f****** special. Let's go crazy, come on."

Rochelle Humes holidays with Myleene Klass' ex-husband amid cheating claims

This Morning's Rochelle Humes has been on holiday with Myleene Klass' ex Graham Quinn as well as husband Marvin Humes just days after the star announced that he had been cheating on her with a mystery celebrity Rochelle Humes has been on holiday with Myleene Klass' ex husband after she accused him of cheating on her at her own birthday party with another female celebrity. The This Morning star,36, was on holiday with her family and friends to celebrate her 13th wedding anniversary to husband Marvin Humes. ‌ One guest invited on the group trip to Ibiza was Myleene's ex Graham Quinn. Taking to Instagram, Rochelle shared a series of snaps alongside the caption: "72 hours in Ibiza. Sun, sea, belly laughing, questionable dance moves and spicy margs that tasted better than our decisions." ‌ In one picture, Graham can be seen grinning from ear to ear as he poses with Marvin and two other pals. A former bodyguard, Quinn managed JLS during their rise to fame, which saw them place second on The X Factor in 2008 and going on to release hits including Beat Again and Everybody In Love, the Mirror reports. ‌ Former Saturdays singer Rochelle, who shares three young children - Alaia-Mai, 11, Valentina, eight, Blake, four - with Marvin, continued her post by writing: "Our annual non negotiable child free trip with old friends who remind you who you are. Sore heads all round today but ironically my battery feels recharged! Just what I needed. Happy 13 my love @marvinhumes what a way to celebrate." Last week Myleene claimed that she had found her husband cheating on her with another famous celebrity at her own birthday party, catching him in the act. The Loose Women panellist shared the allegations about her ex-husband's alleged infidelity while speaking on Paul Brunson's We Need To Talk podcast. ‌ She shared: "I walked in on him with a famous person on my birthday on a balcony." "I'm in my house; it's my party. They weren't having sex, but they were unzipping each other." ‌ Myleene continued to open up to the love expert, saying: "I kicked everyone out of the party, including his mum and dad. They went back to Ireland, and his dad said 'He doesn't get it from me'. " I remember thinking that was quite a weird thing to say." Myleene and Graham went on to get married. However out of respect, she refused to name the woman he was caught cheating on her with, in order to protect their reputation. ‌ It was hinted that the woman in question has built a career off having a 'family brand,' although the incident took place before she was married. Former Hear'Say singer Myleene met Graham back in 2001, when he was working as her bodyguard. The pair went on to have two children together, and spent 12 years together before their dramatic split in 2013. According to Myleene, Graham tried to claim the tryst was an alcohol-fuelled mistake and despite seeing it as a "pretty big red flag" she went through with their wedding in 2011. Myleene opened up about her struggles seeing the 'other woman' live her life. She stated: "I've made peace with that situation now, but for a long time, it was very difficult to see their life. My life literally just broke apart very, very publicly, and their life—they've managed to continue building a family brand on it."
