Good Morning Britain made its return to television screens on Tuesday (August 5) with Kate Garraway and Ed Balls resuming their positions as hosts of the ITV programme.
The presenting pair delivered all the day's breaking news and top stories to ITV audiences, whilst Richard Arnold joined them to share the latest entertainment and celebrity updates.
Throughout Richard's segment, he delivered thrilling news, announcing that two famous faces had just welcomed their first baby together.
"Congratulations are in order for my one-time stand-in, Vick Hope!" Richard enthusiastically informed GMB viewers. "Vick and husband Calvin Harris have welcomed a baby boy, you may have seen on the interweb, who they have named Micah."
Richard continued to elaborate on the couple's baby reveal, which had been posted to Calvin's Instagram profile on Tuesday evening, reports the Mirror.
"Now, Calvin celebrated the arrival on Instagram, not to everyone's taste though. Calvin also revealed he had the placenta dried and converted into pills, as the search for eternal youth continues. Congratulations though, to the Hope-Harris family," Richard continued.
Kate then interrupted: "It's very good for you though!" with Richard responding: "Yes it is indeed! So, good luck with those pills. Very Hollywood but nevertheless what fantastic news to wake up to this morning."
Calvin, who wed Radio 1 host Vick in 2023 during a festival-inspired celebration in Ibiza, shared a collection of images and a heartfelt message dedicated to his wife to commemorate their baby son's arrival on social media. "20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here! My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah," the fresh father-of-one wrote.

Calvin's series of images showed that Vick had given birth in water, with one picture displaying her in a blue birthing pool outdoors on a balcony boasting a stunning vista. Additional photographs depicted the placenta being transformed into capsules as well as Calvin, whose real name is Adam Wiles, cradling his newborn son.
The fresh parents were flooded with congratulations and notes from both supporters and their famous friends.
Fellow DJ Mista Jam penned: "Welcome to Parenthood guys. The best ride of your life," whilst Craig David commented: "Congratulations to you both. Amazing."
Gordon Ramsay posted: "Congratulations @calvinharris @vicknhope welcome to the world Micah," and Pixie Lott chimed in: "omg congrats vick and calvin! ! ! ! so lovely," accompanied by a string of heart emojis.

BBC Radio legend exposes huge music icon as the most 'unpleasant' celeb she's ever interviewed

Radio legend Jo Whiley said the star left her feeling "so tiny and so stupid" during their interview. BBC Radio One legend Jo Whiley has revealed the name of the rudest famous person she's ever interviewed in a jaw dropping confession. The 60-year-old veteran broadcaster interviewed countless stars during her time as a radio DJ. ‌ However, speaking to fellow presenter, Zoe Ball, on their Dig it podcast recently, Jo admitted there was one celebrity who shattered her confidence during an interview which left her feeling "stupid". When asked by Zoe if she had ever felt starstruck during an interview, Jo recalled an interview with one of the world's biggest rappers but it was memorable for all the wrong reasons. ‌ Jo told Zoe she was left feeling "so tiny" after interviewing hip hop legend Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, the Mirror reports. She explained: "I remember interviewing Eminem and Dr Dre one time and that was horrible. ‌ "I'd interviewed Eminem when he was very young and he was very shy and polite. He kept calling me "ma'am" all the time and he was really, really sweet and humble. "Then a couple of years later he came back on the show but with Dr Dre and the fame had happened and he was just this other creature altogether. ‌ "They were just so playful with me - and can I just say they made me feel so tiny and so stupid." ‌ It comes as the radio DJ insisted she is not slowing down any time soon after turning 60 last month and saying that she doesn't think milestone birthdays are a "big deal". The mum-of-five said that the interview with Eminem was overall "a really unpleasant experience" as she and Zoe chatted about being starstruck by the rich and famous. ‌ Her admission comes after the broadcaster opened up about how she had been struck down by anxiety at the height of her DJing career in the 90s. She told Woman's Health: "I remember doing one gig and I was just so scared, I thought I can't go on like this. This is ridiculous. "It's ruining my life because I'm just such a ball of anxiety. ‌ "But then I realised how happy it was making people when I do these gigs and that was a game changer." Jo, is still one of the most sought after DJs in the industry and insisted her 60th birthday, which she celebrated last month, is just the same as any other. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! "It's something that you very much don't want to be a thing, but it becomes a thing because everybody focuses on it and asks you about it constantly. "It's a bizarre situation to be in because I'm only another year older than I was last year, and a year younger than I will be next year. There's an obsession with reaching certain milestones due to your age. People focus on it too much."

ITV are said to have been keen on signing him for some time - and bosses think they have found the ideal vehicle. A huge hit in Norway, The Box sees a dozen celebrities placed in separate boxes, each with a daring challenge to complete. It has been described as a cross between I'm A Celebrity and SAS: Who Dares Wins. A source told The Sun: 'The Box is massive in Norway, and the rights were quickly sold to Denmark and now the UK. They have long been sniffing around Gary and just needed to find the right format for him. Source "ITV are really excited about it - and believe they have finally found a worthy successor to Saturday Night Takeaway. 'They have long been sniffing around Gary and just needed to find the right format for him. 'They're confident they've found that now, and the BBC's loss is their gain.' A TV insider said: 'The scheduling hasn't yet been confirmed but filming takes place in the autumn, and the series is due to air early spring. 'It looks likely to get a Saturday night slot though, but obviously it's all still to play for.' Gary Lineker tears up as he bids emotional farewell to iconic Match of the Day after controversial BBC axe Ant and Dec's long-running show ended in April last year - and ITV have struggled to replace it. Lineker had been a fixture on BBC Saturday night screens for 26 years as host of Match of the Day. For the past eight years, he has been the BBC's highest paid broadcaster. Last month he still topped its annual pay league, earning £1.35million. He was due to quit the BBC after next summer's World Cup but was forced out in May after sharing a controversial post about Zionism on Instagram. 5 The new show is touted as the successor to Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway Credit: Rex 5 Lineker was a fixture on BBC Saturday night screens for 26 years Credit: BBC The dad of four — who had previously faced a string of controversies at the BBC — apologised but accepted his position was 'untenable'. His contract's termination included the BBC licensing deal for his hugely successful Goalhanger podcast titles, The Rest is Football and The Rest Is History. The former Leicester, Everton and Barcelona striker won 80 caps for England. He then moved full-time into broadcasting after his retirement in 1994. His new show The Box has been watched by more than a million people in Norway — a fifth of the population.
