Esterline, from Andover, Kansas, is a 2027 Auburn commit. Puebla, from Royal Palm Beach, Florida, is also part of the Class of 2027 and uncommitted for college. Charlie Woods finished 9 under for the week, 10 off Esterline's pace and four strokes out of the running for a Ryder Cup qualifying spot.

August 2 - Sixth-seeded Andrey Rublev of Russia shrugged off a first-set loss to defeat No. 28 Lorenzo Sonego of Italy 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 in third-round action on Friday at the National Bank Open in Toronto. Rublev had six aces among 29 winners in the victory. "The main thing today, I was able to be mentally really good," Rublev told the Tennis Channel. "After the first set, I didn't (go) down. Dustin May now set to make Red Sox debut Wednesday
August 2 - Dustin May's Boston Red Sox debut will come Wednesday against the Kansas City Royals, three days later than originally planned. Manager Alex Cora told reporters Friday that the right-hander's first start for Boston was pushed back to ensure that Lucas Giolito did not go too long between starts. Giolito, who last pitched Tuesday in a win at Minnesota, will take the mound instead of May on Sunday in the series finale against the visiting Houston Astros. Brayan Bello will open the following home series against the Royals on Monday, Garrett Crochet will start Tuesday, and May will pitch the finale Wednesday, according to Cora.
