Bucks 'In a Good Place' With Giannis Antetokounmpo, Team President Claims
Before NBA free agency started, there were questions about Giannis Antetokounmpo's future with the Milwaukee Bucks. After a third straight year where the Bucks were eliminated in the first round, many believe Antetokounmpo will ask to leave the franchise that drafted him.

However, there hasn't been any update on whether Antetokounmpo wants to continue his career in Milwaukee. The rumors started to pick up some pace after the Bucks waived All-Star guard Damian Lillard to sign free agent center Myles Turner. Although Lillard is still viewed as a star in the league, he's expected to miss the entire 2025-26 NBA season due to a torn Achilles tendon.
The Bucks want to remain competitive with Antetokounmpo, but having his co-star recover from a devastating injury limits them.

On Sunday, team president Peter Feigin was interviewed during the Summer League's broadcast of the Bucks' game against the Los Angeles Clippers. NBA analyst Jared Greenberg questioned Feigin about the team's current position on Antetokounmpo's future.

The executive played it cool and said this:
"We kinda laugh internally, it's where we've been for 10 years," Feigin said. "Giannis loves Milwaukee, Milwaukee loves Giannis. We're at a good place. We feel great about it. It's business as usual."
Feigin said that the team is having a bit of fun regarding the speculation about Antetokounmpo's future with the organization. The executive summarized his answer by saying that the Greek Freak is in a good place and the team is excited to run it back with him next season.
Since the team's postseason elimination, there have been moments where Antetokounmpo dropped hints about what his next step with the Bucks is. Most of the hints he's dropped are leaning towards him staying.

What will the 2025-26 Boston Celtics look like at the start of the regular season?
What will the 2025-26 Boston Celtics look like at the start of the 2025-26 NBA regular season? The Celtics have already made some major moves to the team, trading away veterans like Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis, letting others like Luke Kornet and Al Horford leave the team in free agency, cutting the 2025 G League Most Valuable Player JD Davison. Boston has dealt for players like Anfernee Simons and Georges Niang, and might trade them yet again. They have also brought on players like Luke Kornet and Josh Minott via signings, and Hugo Gonzalez, Amari Williams, and Max Shulga as their trio of selections from the 2025 NBA Draft. They have added new voices to the bench of Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla, and even seen some significant turnover in the team's front office this summer. In total, Boston will look quite different next season from recent years, and popular Celtics blogger and podcast Dan Greenberg recently joined the folks behind the "WEEI Boston's Sports Original" YouTube channel's "Christian Arcand Show," who put together a clip of their chat on how Boston is going to look next season from the episode in question. Mikal Bridges agrees to a $150 million extension with the Knicks, AP source says
NEW YORK -- Mikal Bridges agreed to a four-year, $150 million extension with the New York Knicks on Thursday, a person with knowledge of the details said. The person confirmed the deal to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because it had not been announced. It was first reported by ESPN. The Knicks gave up five first-round picks to acquire Bridges last June and he rewarded them by taking less than he could have earned to lock in to a future with former Villanova teammates Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart. Bridges could have earned $156 million in this extension, or even more by waiting until his contract expired next summer. Instead, he took the deal that could allow the Knicks future flexibility to keep building a team that reached the Eastern Conference finals last season for the first time since 2000. Bridges made a couple of huge defensive plays when the Knicks knocked off 2024 NBA champion Boston in the second round. The Knicks sought those defensive abilities and his availability to play every game that is unmatched among current NBA players when they traded the huge package of picks to acquire Bridges from the Brooklyn Nets last summer. Bridges played in every game — as he has in every season in the NBA — and averaged 17.6 points. The NBA's reigning iron man also played in every game in college before appearing in all 556 since entering the NBA as a first-round pick in 2018. He helped Phoenix reach the NBA Finals in 2021 and was runner-up for Defensive Player of the Year the following season, before being dealt to Brooklyn at the 2023 trade deadline as part of the package for Kevin Durant. Bridges averaged 26.1 points in the final 27 games of that season and 19.6 in 2023-24, before becoming more of a supporting offensive piece with the Knicks behind Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns.
