Four die as vessel capsizes in Suez Gulf; three still missing
The incident occurred around 130 nautical miles from the southern entrance of the Suez Canal and has not disrupted navigation along the trade route, the Suez Canal Authority Chairman Osama Rabie said in a statement.
Egypt's petroleum ministry on Tuesday said oil and gas producer Offshore Shukheir Oil Co (OSOCO) reported the incident as occurring near Egypt's Gabal El-Zeit area along the Red Sea.
The vessel is a jackup barge unit named Admarine 12 owned by a subsidiary of offshore drilling service provider ADES. It was carrying 30 personnel, 23 of whom were rescued, ADES said in disclosure to the Saudi Exchange.
The petroleum ministry earlier misidentified the vessel as Adam Marine 12.
Three ADES personnel and one contractor were killed, and rescuers are searching for the remaining three, ADES said.
The vessel was operating in a concession where ADES and OSOCO have partnered to drill wells.
The vessel and personnel are comprehensively insured and at this stage there is no material impact on finances or guidance for the fiscal year 2025, ADES said.
"The company is working closely with local authorities and emergency services, with the safety and well-being of all personnel remaining its highest priority. A full and thorough investigation into the incident will be conducted," ADES said. — Reuters

In her legal motion, Slagsvol claimed that Mozenter had not helped her understand Buffett's financial standing. 'Rather than help his recently widowed client understand her finances, Mr. Mozenter spent the next 16 months stonewalling and making excuses for why he could not yet provide the requested information,' her filing states. According to Slagsvol, Mozenter only provided an estimate in February 2025, claiming the marital trust only netted a $2 million income. 'If the Marital Trust truly earns such a low return consistent with the financials Mr. Mozenter presented, it will confirm that Mr. Mozenter is either not competent to administer the Trust or unwilling to act in Mrs. Buffett's best interests,' the docs read. 'Even if Mr. Mozenter believes he has been unfairly criticized for his failure to discharge his duties as co-trustee (he has not), he concedes that he cannot 'have one productive conversation with [Mrs. Buffett] about any topics.' For breakfast, her go-to option is two scrambled eggs, chicken sausage and a cauliflower hash brown. For lunch, the Grammy-winning artist switches between shredded Thai chicken salad, lettuce wraps stuffed with tuna and sliced chicken breast. As for dinner, which she eats at 5 p.m., Lizzo prefers to stick with the same one: a turkey meatloaf with cauliflower mashed potatoes and green beans. "I have GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), so my body needs time to digest food before I go to sleep, so acid doesn't roll up to my throat," Lizzo explained about her early dinner. The Tigers had won three in a row, including an 11-2 victory in the first game as Riley Greene hit two homers and tied a career high with six RBIs. Detroit had retired 13 consecutive Nationals when Tommy Kahnle (0-1) entered in the eighth. With the Tigers leading 4-3, he gave up two singles and a walk before Lowe pulled one down the right-field line to clear the bases. Lowe scored on Bell's double to left-center, which ended Kahnle's outing.
