South Central Railway (SCR) has temporarily eliminated the stoppage at Kondapalli railway station to facilitate Foot Over Bridge (FOB) repair works in Kondapalli.
Train No. 12749 – Machilipatnam-Bidar, Train No. 12750 – Bidar-Machilipatnam, Train No. 17201 – Guntur-Secunderabad and Train No. 17202 – Secunderabad-Guntur will not stop at Kondapalli station from October 19 to November 18, 2025.
Train No. 17405 – Tirupati-Adilabad and Train No. 17406 – Adilabad-Tirupati will not halt at Kondapalli from October 18 to November 17.
Similarly, Train No. 67215 – Vijayawada-Bhadrachalam, Train No. 67216 – Bhadrachalam-Vijayawada and Train No. 67768 – Vijayawada-Dornakal, will also not halt at Kondapalli, said SCR Chief Public Relations Officer A. Sridhar in a release on Monday (August 18, 2025).

IRTC announces Bharat Gaurav train covering five Jyotirlinga temples

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation ( IRCTC ) has announced a Bharat Gaurav Train, covering five Jyotirlinga temples, including three such holy shrines from Maharashtra. Grishneshwar from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, Trimbakeshwar from Nashik district, and Bhimashankar from Pune district are the three Jyotirlinga temples from Maharashtra that will be covered by the special train. In addition, Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga sites from Madhya Pradesh will also be included in the train journey. "The boarding and de-boarding facility is provided at important en route stations like Secunderabad, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Dharmabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, and Purna. The whole trip will be covered over a period of eight nights and nine days. It includes all travel facilities, including both rail and road transport, accommodation, and catering arrangements," said an official release by the South Central Railway (SCR). It added, "The security on the train involves CCTVs in all coaches. The public announcement facility is available in all coaches. Also, travel insurance will be provided to passengers, and there will be the presence of tour managers throughout the trip for assistance." SCR to restore trains to original routes soon in Telangana

HYDERABAD: The South Central Railway (SCR) has announced that several trains, which were diverted or had terminal changes due to redevelopment works at Secunderabad Railway Station, will resume operations on their original routes starting September. The move aims to ease passenger travel and restore normal operations following the completion of key station works. The Vijayawada-Kacheguda-Vijayawada Satavahana Express (Train No. 12713/12714), which was temporarily terminating at Kacheguda, will once again operate from Secunderabad. The change will take effect from September 7, for both directions. Trains returning to their original route via Charlapalli-Moula Ali-Secunderabad include the Kazipet-Hadapsar-Kazipet Tri-Weekly Express (Train No. 17014/17013) from September 8, the Visakhapatnam-Lingampalli-Visakhapatnam Daily Express (Train No. 12805/12806) from September 7, the Vasco Da Gama-Jasidih-Vasco Da Gama Weekly Express (Train No. 17321/17322) from September 12, the Machilipatnam-Sainagar Shirdi-Machilipatnam Weekly Express (Train No. 17208/17207) from September 9, the Kakinada Port-Sainagar Shirdi-Kakinada Port Tri-Weekly Express (Train No. 17206/17205) from September 8, and the Visakhapatnam-LTT Mumbai-Visakhapatnam Daily Express (Train No. 18519/18520) from September 7.
