Marks & Spencer has done it again folks and got everyone talking about its food — for a good reason.
The retailer has launched more than 100 new or refreshed products in its Foodhall for summer, leaving many customers 'drooling'.
First up, there's a brand new Shred N' Share Dine In deal which feeds four and consists of a slow cooked main and four sides for £20.
Options for this include Carolina BBQ British Pork, British Chicken Shawarma and British Minced Beef Chilli for the main event, coupled with dishes like Spicy Rice, Chunky Chips, Green Goddess Slaw, Salsa Verde Potato Salad and Sweetcorn Ribs.
And to round off your meal, there's a tempting selection of new desserts which people have been going absolutely wild over on social media.
The sweet treat selection includes a UK first, as M&S combines cookies and cheesecake to create new Cookie Cups.
Available in three flavours (Raspberry & White Chocolate, Extremely Chocolatey and Hazelnut Praline) they cost £2.69 each and are described as being a chewy cookie with smooth cheesecake filling. Each is topped with a sauce, chocolate chunks and various other goodies.
They've also put new spins on classic pastries, launching Double Filled Lemon Eclairs (£3), which see choux pastry filled with whipped cream and lemon curd before being topped with a tangy lemon fondant. Tirami-choux Profiteroles (£4) have hit the chilled section too and as the name suggests these are choux pastries containing a coffee, mascarpone and a Marsala cream filling, with chocolate sauce on top. https://www.instagram.com/p/DKZvTpfNwBt/?hl=en
Tiramisu fans can also get their hands on new full-size twists on the Italian dessert, with a Limoncello version and a Hazelnut one (both £5.25). And for the pistachio lovers mini Pistachio Tiramisu pots are also being sold for £2 for two. Yum!
Other new items in the supermarket include sauces like spicy mayo and a coffee BBQ glaze, as well as bottles of White Sangria, a gluten-free Korean Chicken Sandwich and various tortilla wraps including Nacho Spice, Spinach & Herb and Corn & Wheat Tacos.
Chef Tom Kerridge has also launched a new M&S Collection Grill Range ahead of the warm weather and the line-up contains Burnt End Meatballs with Chipotle Sauce, Seven Spice Beef Koftas and Spiced Honey Spatchcock Chicken.
Social media users have been raving over the new releases, with the Cookie Cups causing a particular stir online.
In response to a post about them on the Snack News & Reviews page on Facebook, John Andrew said he was 'drooling', while Gemma Halbert commented: 'I need one of these pronto' and Jasmine Smith branded them as 'lush'.
On Instagram, @sweetreviewsuk said: 'Wow, these look delicious!' and @golf_mamma proclaimed 'they were amazing'.
Similarly, @sk86x thought the 'white chocolate one is absolutely incredible' and @bonbonbonia shared: 'This is very naughty and I like it.'
Some also said they were 'yummy', would 'go down a treat' and they'd be 'great with a brew'.
This comes after M&S recently were trumped by cheap sausages in a supermarket taste test.
Nine supermarket own-brand sausages were pitted against each other as part of the test and compared to several popular brands too, like Heck and Jolly Hog. Ultimately, three ended up being named the superior 'best buys' of the lot and it was Lidl's Deluxe Pork Sausages (£2.49 for 400g) sausages that topped the rankings with a score of 77%.
Consumers loved their 'juicy texture', 'perfect meaty flavour' and said the 'herb and spice seasoning that hit the spot'. More Trending
However, it's worth noting that Lidl's sausages are pretty high in saturated fat. Two sausages contain 11.5g, which is more than half the recommended daily maximum for women and more than a third for men.
M&S came in second place with the Collection British Outdoor Bred Pork Sausages (£4.50 for 400g) came in second place with an overall score of 75%.
The priciest of the bunch, these were well-liked sausages with good pork flavour, juiciness and salt levels relished by three-quarters of the tasters.

Two-thirds said they enjoyed the texture, but while 58% said seasoning was well-balanced, the remainder were divided on whether it was too much or too little.

'I won the National Lottery - this is what I now do day to day'
A mum-of-four is hoping to turn her dream job into a reality after scooping £10,000 a month for a year on the National Lottery – but not before ticking off her ultimate shopping list. Olivia Love, 36, did what we all say we would do in her shoes and quit her job at a local supermarket after hearing the life-changing news. Since marrying last year, she has had her heart set on building a new career in wedding content creation. Now, thanks to her win, she and her husband are busy making those fantasies come true. The Glaswegian told Metro her reaction when she received the call telling her she had won on May 16. 'I just didn't believe it, I still don't believe it. I keep thinking this is a really vivid dream and at some point somebody is going to pinch me,' she said. 'It's hard to put into words how much this means to me.' The life-changing sum of money means a lot to Olivia who has struggled with money in the past. She earned £800-a-month before working in a supermarket's customer-service kiosk. Olivia was also on Universal Credit to subsidise her £1,800-a-month childcare costs. 'I still feel a bit nauseous if I'm being honest about it especially when I think about how much money it is,' she said. 'I'm not used to having any money. I'm used to having literal pennies left in the bank. I feel less anxious because I don't have to worry about the bills. 'Suddenly having thousands blows my mind.' Olivia and her husband went for some breakfast after dropping the kids off at his parents after they found out about the win. They then went on a shopping spree. 'I was trying to convince Kevin to buy some clothes. All he really wanted was a new pair of jeans and a new car. They weren't even expensive jeans, just jeans from Next. 'He's not much of a spender, I'm definitely the spender in the family. 'I went into Victoria's Secret and spent a whopping £750. That was my Pretty Woman moment.' Since the big win, Olivia's day-to-day life has changed as she gets more help around the house. This includes a team of cleaners who helped declutter her home and somebody who cleared her garden. She even has somebody who picks up her laundry and the next day brings it back all washed, dried and folded. When Olivia worked in the kiosk, she came across people buying lottery tickets which inspired her to get involved. But she admitted she did not play often and feels lucky to have won the money she has. 'Everybody is happy for us and nobody is asking for money which is nice. 'I haven't really come into contact with many people since the win. Over the years I've kept my social circle really small so I don't have any friends. 'We had a late miscarriage a couple of years ago. When I was in the midst of grief I just stopped talking to everyone. 'When I came out of that shadow there was nobody left. It is just me, my husband and the kids and that is the way we like it.' Olivia has been speaking about her massive tax-free win on her TikTok account. Some of her videos, which include how she found out, what happens if she dies and was it a lucky dip have more than 200,000 views each. More Trending She now plans to set up a wedding content creation business. Olivia has always wanted to pursue this career direction but was held back by her job and the income she relied on. She had this advice for people who are considering entering the lottery but have their doubts. 'It is just a game of chance. You can win, you just have to be in it to win it.' Do Trump's hardline tariffs and travel bans put off Brits from visiting the US?
Tariffs, travel bans, mass firings – if there's one thing you can be sure about with Donald Trump, it's that he'll make news. Constantly . That's even the case here in the UK, where most of his decisions have no direct impact. But is all that coverage having an effect on Brits hopping across the pond for a vacation? If you look at the dry numbers from the US National Travel and Tourism Office, you might think the answer is no. In January, the month of Trump's second inauguration, the number of UK visitors to the US was 5% higher than the previous January. February and April also saw more Brits going to the US than the same months in 2024, suggesting that far from putting people off, we may even be more keen to visit the country when it's run by Trump. ABTA, the British trade association for the travel industry, tells a similar tale. They 'haven't seen any significant changes in terms of UK-US travel post-Trump administration', a spokesperson told Metro, with 'no noticeable shifts away' from the States. But that may not be the full story. Australia-based tour company Intrepid Travel offers small-group trips to destinations as diverse as Nepal, the Galápagos Islands, Antarctica – and the United States. However, the latter has had a significant fall in interest over the past five months, with bookings from UK customers down 12%. That decline appears to be driven by one age group in particular: 21 to 30-year-olds, with whom bookings have fallen by almost a quarter. There was less of an impact for customers above that age bracket. Joanna Reeve, Intrepid's General Manager for the UK & Ireland, told Metro: 'While there is no way to know for sure what is causing the dip, negative perception of the US under the new administration could be playing a part in people's travel choices. 'New immigration rules and travel restrictions could be off-putting for potential visitors.' The country still remains popular overall, she said. According to the Office for National Statistics, the US was the sixth most popular country visited by UK residents in 2023 – though it wasn't far off Portugal and Greece in fifth and fourth place respectively. A survey for ABTA taken in summer last year – before Trump was elected, but while the presidential election campaign was in full swing – found the US came third after only Spain and France when people were asked where they planned to visit in the next 12 months. Even those who disagree with the direction of the Trump administration might want to consider visiting the US in order to mitigate its impact, Joanna suggested. She said: 'There are ways to travel there in a way that supports local people, like through supporting indigenous-led experiences. More Trending 'We're also encouraging people to visit and support the National Parks as they are facing huge cuts to their funding.' Interestingly, the attitude of young travellers with Intrepid – if they are indeed being put off by Trump – does not appear to reflect the broader UK. An Ipsos poll from just before Inauguration Day in January found 18 to 34-year-olds were the most likely age group in the UK to have a favourable view of the US President. However, 47% of Brits between those ages still disliked him compared to 31% who felt the opposite. Those aged 35 to 54 were 64% unfavourable, while 72% of those aged 55 or over felt the same.
