Rs 16 Crore For A Smile? Why This Actress Got Her Mouth Insured

Last Updated: Actress Cynthia Erivo insured her mouth for Rs 16 crore! From her iconic smile to vocal power, here's why it's being called one of Hollywood's most precious smiles You've likely heard of health or travel insurance, but Oscar-nominated actress and singer Cynthia Erivo has taken it to a whole new level. She's insured her mouth for an eye-watering $2 million (approximately Rs 16.5 crore)! Now, what makes her mouth so valuable? The Face Of Listerine's 'Wash Your Mouth' Campaign Cynthia Erivo is currently the ambassador for Listerine's new 'Wash Your Mouth' campaign, and she takes oral hygiene seriously. She credits her distinctive smile and powerful voice as key components of her identity, both professionally and personally. She reportedly brushes and uses mouthwash religiously before stepping on stage, saying her oral care routine gives her confidence. But the insurance policy isn't just about her hygiene habits; it's about protecting her trademark gap-toothed smile and vocal power, which are central to her brand. The Celebrity Trend Of Insuring Body Parts While this might sound eccentric, Cynthia Erivo is far from the first celebrity to insure a body part. In fact, it's something of a trend in Hollywood: Clearly, when your body is part of your brand, insurers are willing to put a value on it, sometimes an enormous one. A Smile That's Making Headlines While it's unlikely Cynthia Erivo will ever need to make a claim, the move certainly grabs attention. With her dazzling voice and iconic smile, she now holds the unofficial title of Hollywood's 'most valuable smile." view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
