Some series and serials give identity to stars which never fades off. Something similar happened with Aasif Khan. If the name doesn't ring a bell, then let us tell you the man is known for one of the hit series Panchayat. If you think it is Jitendra, Ashok Pathak, Raghubir Yadav or Faisal Khan, then your guesses are completely wrong. The man in discussion is the famous Aasif Khan.
Aasif had humble beginnings. Over the years, the actor starred in various series including Mirzapur, Panchayat, Paatal Lok, Jamtara, Pagglait, and Human. He gained massive recognition for his dialogue, 'Gajjab Bezzati hai Yaar,' in Panchayat, giving him the name and fame he deserved. Aasif Khan Heart Attack News
Recently, Aasif made headlines when news of his heart attack surfaced online. According to reports, Aasif Khan suffered a heart attack and was rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He received the needed treatment and the 34-year-old actor is stable now. When Aasif Khan Served Food at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's Wedding
Yes, while this may sound absurd, not many people know that Aasif once served food at Saif and Kareena's wedding. When he came to Mumbai, he started working in a mall. However, later, he worked in the kitchen department of a hotel, which hosted Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's wedding reception. Aasif Khan Faced Rejection
When Aasif tried his luck in the industry, he faced massive rejections. One of the producers heavily criticised his looks and height. However, instead of taking that rejection negatively, he took it in a positive way and worked on his skills. He later returned to Mumbai to pursue his dreams in the entertainment industry once again and landed a job as a casting assistant.

Panchayat's Sachiv Ji Or Kota Factory's Jeetu Bhaiya? Jitendra Kumar Says 'My favourite…'

Last Updated: Jitendra Kumar shared which of his characters, Kota Factory's Jeetu Bhaiya or Panchayat's Sachiv ji, fans connect with more today. Jitendra Kumar has become a rare face in Indian streaming who can claim two cult roles that fans refuse to let go of – Jeetu Bhaiya from Kota Factory and Sachiv ji from Panchayat. And while both characters are much loved by the fans and the meme world, one clearly leads the popularity race. In a recent chat with IANS, the actor was asked which name fans call out to him more often in public. 'I think Jeetu Bhaiya is a bit more popular, but people often end up mixing the two worlds," Jitendra said. The Panchayat actor shared a funny example of how fans tend to mash the two characters together in conversation. 'If someone wants to tell me something, they call me Jeetu Bhaiya, but in the same breath, they say, 'will Jeetu Bhaiya be able to move on from Rinki or not?' So, they end up mixing both worlds. I think they have a hangover of both the shows, but 'Jeetu Bhaiya' comes more easily to them compared to Sachiv ji," he added. As for his personal pick between the two roles, Jitendra found it tough to choose. 'It is very difficult to choose as both these characters are very different from one another, but given that Panchayat season 4 has just released, it is my favourite at the moment." As Jeetu Bhaiya in Kota Factory, Jitendra Kumar plays a calm, mentor-like teacher who has become a cultural icon among students and aspirants. He plays a compassionate physics teacher who becomes a mentor figure to IIT aspirants — firm, empathetic and deeply relatable, especially to students facing academic pressure. In Panchayat, he shines as Abhishek Tripathi or Sachiv Ji, the sincere village secretary, where his understated performance and slow-burn chemistry with Sanvikaa (who plays Rinki) have struck a chord with audiences. Their on-screen bond, subtle yet engaging, adds charm to the show's emotional core. During an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix, host Kapil Sharma couldn't resist teasing Jitendra about his popularity among female fans, asking if girls now call him 'Jeetu Bhaiya' when asking for selfies. To that, Jitendra joked, 'Main mana kar deta hoon. Bhaiya bologe toh selfie nahi milegi (I say no. If you call me brother, you won't get a selfie)." Meanwhile, Panchayat Season 4 has turned out to be a big hit on OTT and Panchayat Season 5 is already in the works. Shriya Pilgaonkar: I don't want to do roles for the sake of visibility

Shriya Pilgaonkar Shriya Pilgaonkar , who began her Bollywood journey with Fan, made a mark in the OTT space with web shows like Mirzapur, Guilty Minds, and The Broken News. The actress is shifting her focus more toward films now. She shares, 'I'm being very selective with roles in the series space because I want to focus more on films, as I miss the medium. That doesn't mean I won't be a part of web shows.' The actress, who was recently seen as cop Devika Rathore in Chhal Kapat: The Deception, says she has also learned to factor in how a project is presented. 'The platform matters. How a show or film is mounted affects how the audience perceives it. In the past, even when my performance was appreciated, the overall mounting sometimes didn't support it. Now, I take all of those factors into consideration,' she explains. Shriya's career choices are now guided by the quality and potential of a role, not just the association. 'The films I've taken up recently are interesting. I've also been offered films with big actors, but the parts weren't exciting. It's not about screen time or the size of the role; it's about the value that I can bring. I want to show my skill and build on it, not do roles for the sake of visibility,' she concludes. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Many Are Watching Tariffs - Few Are Watching What Nvidia Just Launched Seeking Alpha Read More Undo In a previous chat with us, the actress, who has also been part of projects like The Great Indian Bride, The Gone Game, Ekulti Ek, and Haathi Mere Saathi, reflected on how she's often typecast and how she's actively working to change that image. For that, I want to work with makers who see me differently. '
