Penélope Cruz, Javier Bardem light up the stage with Bad Bunny in Puerto Rico
Fifteen years in, Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem are keeping things fresh. The Oscar-winning couple shared a fun moment this week as they joined Bad Bunny on stage during the rapper and singer's concert residency in Puerto Rico. "Gracias Benitoooooooo💕Impresionante!!" Cruz, 51, wrote on Instagram Tuesday, Aug. 12, translating to, "Thank you Benito, impressive!" In the Instagram video, Cruz wears a black lacy top as she captures herself singing and dancing with Bardem, 56, close behind before she pans to Bad Bunny sitting and rapping on stage. She then pans back to a surprised Bardem wearing a black baseball cap. In fan videos, Cruz can also be seen introducing a track and shouting to the crowd: "Acho, PR es otra cosa!" translating to, "Hey, PR is something else!" A post shared by Penélope Cruz (@penelopecruzoficial) Cruz and Bardem married in 2010 and have two children: Leo, 14, and Luna, 12. Bad Bunny, the Latin superstar born Benito Ocasio, kicked off his No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí (I Don't Want to Leave Here) residency July 11 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, the island's largest indoor arena. The first nine dates were reserved for local residents only, as Bad Bunny, 31, wanted to pay tribute to his homeland. He'll continue his performances every weekend through Sept. 14 for shows that are already boosting tourism in Puerto Rico. At another show, the Grammy-winning reggaeton superstar invited actor Austin Butler to join him on stage, as seen in viral fan footage shared on social media. Austin Butler recalls trippy Bad Bunny concert after taking edible: 'My brain is in two movies' Butler explained to "Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon that his concert euphoria wasn't just a musical high. "Somebody gave me an edible right before the show, and I thought that was a good idea at the time," Butler said. "It's like my brain is in two movies." Bad Bunny's concerts are in support of his chart-topping sixth studio album, "Debí Tirar Más Fotos," which reflects the musical styles he grew up with and lyrically tackles the cultural identity and the socio-political challenges of the island. The album's all-stadium world tour kicks off Nov. 21 in Santo Domingo and ends July 22 in Brussels, Belgium. The tour does not currently have any dates in the continental United States. Coldplay's Surprise Hit Jumps To A New Peak — Again
Coldplay regularly lives on the Official Singles chart in the group's home country of the United Kingdom with some of its most famous songs like 'Yellow,' 'Viva La Vida,' and 'The Scientist.' In 2025, a seemingly long-forgotten cut, 'Sparks,' became a surprise win for the Grammy-winning outfit. The tune went viral on social media, and that success translated to a massive increase in both streams and sales. For several weeks now, 'Sparks' has been on the rise in the U.K., and as it jumps up the most important songs tally again, the Coldplay cut reaches a new peak position. Coldplay's 'Sparks' Hits a New High On the Official Singles chart — which uses a methodology that combines both streaming activity and sales to determine the 100 most consumed songs in the U.K. — 'Sparks' lifts from No. 39 to No. 36. The new smash makes it to that position eight weeks into its life on the competitive tally. An Immediate Top 40 Success for Coldplay 'Sparks' debuted on the Official Singles chart in late June of this year. The song immediately became another top 40 success for Coldplay when it launched at No. 40. Since then, the track has risen and fallen, but not dramatically at any point. This turn is the second in a row in which 'Sparks' has hit a new high. 'Sparks' Reaches an All-Time High on the Streaming Roster While 'Sparks' is selling better than it has in years, plays on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and other competitors is playing the main role in sending the track upward. On the Official Singles Streaming chart, 'Sparks' jumps five spots to No. 75. A month into its time on the streaming-only roster, the viral tune sets a new high point. 'Yellow' and 'Viva La Vida' Coldplay claims a trio of wins on the Official Singles chart this frame. 'Yellow' improves from No. 98 to No. 91, while 'Viva La Vida' dips two spaces from No. 97 to No. 99, and barely holds on. The Official Charts Company developed a rule several years ago that states that all musical acts can only claim three successes at one time as a lead figure. Both 'Yellow' and 'Viva La Vida' join 'Sparks' on the Official Singles Streaming chart, as does 'The Scientist.' That latter track can often be found on the Official Singles roster, but since 'Sparks' is on the rise, there's no room for 'The Scientist' this week.
