The Arizona Cardinals' Week 13 matchup on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers just had some intrigue added to the game. The Bucs announced on Monday that Simeon Rice would be inducted into Tampa Bay's Ring of Honor at halftime of their game against the Cardinals on November 30. He will be the Bucs' 16th member.
Why is this significant?
Rice, who had 122 career sacks and played for the Buccaneers from 2001-2006, was originally drafted by the Cardinals. He was the third overall pick in the 1996 NFL draft and played for Arizona for five seasons.
Rice had 53.5 sacks for the Cardinals, the fourth-highest career total in franchise history. He had 69.5 with the Bucs.
It is a cool gesture to have the induction when the Cardinals are in town.

LOUIS (AP) — Nolan Arenado delivered a pinch-hit RBI double in the ninth inning and the St. Louis Cardinals stifled the Los Angeles Dodgers' offense for a second straight game in a 2-1 victory on Saturday. Nolan Gorman led off the ninth with a ground-rule double before being replaced with a pinch runner. After Pedro Pages reached on an error by pitcher Ben Casparius (4-1), the Dodgers vacated left field to play with five infielders, and Arenado's lazy fly ball landed just inside the foul line and bounced into the stands for another ground-rule double. Advertisement The Dodgers, who lead the majors in scoring, home runs and batting average, were held scoreless for the first 17 innings of the series, but managed to tie it when Shohei Ohtani scored on a wild pitch by Ryan Helsley (3-0) in the top of the ninth. It was the second straight blown save for Helsley. Masyn Winn raced home on Alec Burleson's infield single to put St. Louis ahead 1-0 in the eighth inning. Davis hit his fourth home run of the season and second in as many games to left-center off Ranger Suarez (4-1) on a first-pitch changeup to snap a 1-1 tie. The Pirates won for the third time in four games and can sweep the three-game series on Sunday. Canes one victory short of a berth in College World Series after beating Louisville 9-6
The Miami Hurricanes (35-26) edged the Louisville Cardinals (39-22) by a final score of 9-6 in Game 2 of the NCAA Louisville Super Regional on Saturday afternoon. The victory evened the best-of-3 series at one victory apiece. The winner goes to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. Reliever Carson Fischer (5-1) earned the win after giving up one run in 3 1/3 innings. Closer Brian Walters recorded the final six outs to notch his 11th save of the year. Louisville's Jack Brown (5-5) was tagged with the loss after allowing a go-ahead RBI single in the sixth. Miami struck first in the second inning. Tanner Smith drew a walk after an eight-pitch at-bat, and designated hitter Jake Kulikowski followed with a single through the right side, advancing Smith to third. Freshman Michael Torres then delivered an RBI single to left for the first run of the game. The Cardinals stormed back and answered in the third. Lucas Moore drew a walk and stole second, then Matt Klein advanced Moore to third with a groundout to first, and Zion Rose followed with a game-tying RBI single to center. On the next pitch, Eddie King Jr. launched a two-run homer to left-center, giving the Cardinals a 3-1 lead. After retiring the Hurricanes in order, Louisville added to its lead in the fourth as Jake Munroe belted a solo home run to left, pushing the Cardinals' advantage to 4-1. On a 1-0 pitch, the Fort Lauderdale native turned on a fastball and launched a towering three-run homer over the left-field wall — his 18th of the season. The blast ignited the Hurricanes' dugout and pushed Miami's lead to 9-5, giving Cuvet yet another big moment in a standout sophomore campaign. Louisville chipped away in the top of the eighth. Alex Alicea led off with a double down the right field line, and Lucas Moore followed with an RBI single up the middle to bring the Cardinals within three. Moore stole second and Ryan Klein drew a walk to put two on with no outs, but Miami reliever Brain Walters remained composed, including a flyout to right, a groundout to short, and a flyout to center that helped the Hurricanes escape the jam and secure the victory.
