Ford Ranger driver slammed for tailgating to avoid paying toll
A Ford Ranger driver has gone viral on TikTok after being caught tailgating another vehicle to sneak through a toll booth without paying.
In the 13-second clip, the four-wheel drive (4WD) can be seen driving dangerously close behind a car before accelerating to slip past the boom gate. Once through, the vehicle slows down and continues on its way.

'Bro thought the toll was already free as announced by the government,' read the sarcastic caption on the video.
Based on the dashcam clip, the incident is believed to have taken place at 10.54pm on July 25.
The post has since racked up over 180 comments, with many slamming the driver for refusing to pay a small toll fee — despite owning a vehicle worth RM100,000 to RM200,000.
One user remarked, 'Drives an expensive car but can't pay the toll.'
Another quipped, 'Pity him — all his money went into the car. Now there's not even enough left to pay toll. What about food money?'
A third chimed in, 'All his money's gone to monthly car payments.'
Meanwhile, Faiz Hamid didn't hold back: 'Shameful to drive such a big car and still skip the toll. 'Might as well drive a sardine can, bro.'

Four-year-old boy falls to death from 8th-storey window in Klang
KLANG: A four-year-old boy died after he fell out of an eight-floor flat unit on Friday (Aug 1) morning. According to South Klang deputy OCPD Supt Kamalariffin Aman Shah said the incident occurred at the Port Klang Perantau Flats' Block J. "At the time of the incident, the boy's father was at his workplace, and the mother was out of the house sending her second child to the babysitters. "The victim is believed to have fallen out of a window of his home on the eighth floor," said Supt Kamalariffin. He added that police received a distress call reporting the incident from a woman at 8am. According to Supt Kamalariffin, the victim was rushed to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital here for emergency treatment and pronounced dead during treatment. He said the post-mortem results indicated that the victim had suffered head injuries as a result of falling from a height. He also added that police opened an investigation under Section 31 (1) of the Child Act 2001 for child neglect, which comes with a jail term of not more than 20 years and a fine not exceeding RM50,000. "The police are urging members of the public, with other information pertaining to this incident, to go to the nearest police station or contact the South Klang police at 03-33762222 to help with the investigations," he said.

Five more Malaysians sent to Narathiwat prison for drug-related crimes
NARATHIWAT: Five more Malaysians have been sent to Narathiwat prison this year for drug-related offences, bringing the total number of Malaysians currently held at the prison to 36. Prison director, Superintendent Surin Chantep, said the 36 comprised 28 men and eight women. "After six Malaysians, including the modern dikir barat singer Eda Ezrin, were committed to this prison in November last year, five more have been placed here in stages since January," he told Malaysian reporters during a visit to the prison today. He said most of the Malaysian inmates are from Kelantan, with some already sentenced, while others remain in remand pending court proceedings. When asked about Eda Ezrin's condition, Surin said the prison authorities are awaiting a decision from the Narathiwat provincial court on whether she and five others would be released or have their cases brought to trial. He added that Eda Ezrin is not experiencing any health issues and has not requested psychological assistance. The Narathiwat prison, located in southern Thailand, about 60km from Malaysia's border in Rantau Panjang, is a high-security correctional facility that houses both local and foreign inmates, primarily those involved in drug and cross-border crimes. The prison, which operates under the Thai Department of Corrections, enforces strict security protocols and accommodates inmates in gender-separated wings. The prison also serves as a remand centre for individuals awaiting trial and appeals, particularly those involved in cross-border criminal cases given Narathiwat's proximity to Malaysia. Over the years, the facility has held dozens of Malaysian nationals detained in connection with smuggling, trafficking, and illegal entry. Despite its location in a region with periodic security concerns, the prison maintains cooperation with consular officials, including the Malaysian Consulate in Songkhla, to ensure the welfare of foreign inmates.

Boy, 4, dies after fall from 8th floor flat
KUALA LUMPUR: A 4-year-old boy who fell from the 8th floor of the Sri Perantau Flats in Port Klang this morning has died from injuries sustained in the fall. South Klang deputy police chief Superintendent Kamal Ariffin Aman Shah, who confirmed the death, said police received a call around 8am from a member of the public reporting that a child had fallen from a building in the area. "At the time of the incident, the boy's father was at work, while the mother had stepped out to send their second child to the babysitter. "It is believed the victim fell from the window of their 8th floor flat," he said in a statement today. Kamal Ariffin added that the victim was rushed to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead during treatment at 9am. "A post-mortem revealed that the child sustained head injuries consistent with a fall from height. "The South Klang police headquarters' Criminal Investigation Department has opened an investigation paper under Section 31(1) of the Child Act 2001 for child neglect, which carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to RM50,000. "We ask anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward to the nearest police station or contact the South Klang Police Headquarters at 03-33762222 to assist in the investigation," the statement read. Earlier, a video of the incident went viral on social media, showing chaos at the scene as residents gathered around the area. In the footage, a man can be heard sharing brief details about what had happened.
