Kajol cheers for Ajay Devgn's ‘Son of Sardaar 2', calls him an excellent producer
Bollywood star Kajol took to Instagram to shower support and appreciation for husband Ajay Devgn's latest film Son of Sardaar 2, which hit theatres on August 1. Sharing a snippet from the film, Kajol wrote, 'Looking forward to the full-on dhamaka of #SOS2! Congratulations @ajaydevgn and the whole cast.' Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, Son of Sardaar 2 is a standalone sequel to the 2012 comedy hit Son of Sardaar. This romantic comedy stars Ajay Devgn in the lead role, alongside Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, and Sanjay Mishra. The film also marks the posthumous appearance of actor Mukul Dev. The film released in direct competition with Dhadak 2 at the box office. In a recent interview, Kajol opened up about her dynamic with Ajay Devgn when it comes to filmmaking, saying the two rarely clash over creative decisions. 'Economically, I think he has a lot of people to advise him… As far as the film Maa was concerned, yes, we had long conversations, especially about the climax and VFX. But we've never had any big fights over films,' she noted. Praising Ajay's role as a producer, Kajol added, 'He's an excellent and very hands-on producer—from scripting, VFX, music to even marketing, he ensures everything fits perfectly. He's involved in every step.' With Kajol's encouragement and Ajay's dedication, Son of Sardaar 2 has garnered attention not just for its cast but also for its behind-the-scenes passion.

Sarzameen director Kayoze Irani addresses negative reviews, admits he'd alter Ibrahim Ali Khan's introduction: ‘People were forgiving'
Ibrahim Ali Khan's second film, Sarzameen, premiered last month on JioHotstar, and much like his debut film Nadaaniyan, it was met with significant criticism from both audiences and critics. Directed by Kayoze Irani, son of veteran actor Boman Irani, the film has sparked a conversation online about its narrative and performances. Addressing the mixed reception in a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Kayoze shared his thoughts on the feedback and what he's taken away from the experience. 'I'm extremely happy with the audience reaction to the film. I think that the (viewership) numbers are doing very well. The overall audience perception and the feedback that I've been getting are good. There have been some criticisms. There have been some reviews that are critical, which is fair. What is important is to learn from it and move forward, but I'm genuinely overwhelmed. I feel that if it's managed to touch a few people, I can't be happier than that,' he said. Also Read | Sarzameen director Kayoze Irani reveals he cut Kajol's role based on suggestions from the Indian Army: 'For sensitivity reasons…' He continued, 'These are reviewers whom I respect,' adding, 'Ideally, you want every review to be five stars, and you want the box office collection to be unheard of. But this will not be my only film. There's something that I can learn from it, and I will apply that in the next one.' In the same conversation, Kayoze acknowledged the film's flaws but said he feels encouraged by the audience's acceptance. 'Are there a few loopholes in the film? Maybe! Are there a few things that could have been done differently? Maybe. But the important thing is that the film worked on a larger level, and they were forgiving of a few of the issues.' Reflecting on what he would change about the movie if given the chance, Irani said, 'One thing that I would have done differently with Sarzameen was bringing Ibrahim into the film a little earlier, and I would have had more of the cat-and-mouse chase before he is discovered. These are the two things I would have done differently.' Set in Kashmir, Sarzameen follows the tense emotional journey of an Indian Army officer who discovers that his estranged son has joined a militant group. Ibrahim plays the role of the young militant, while Prithviraj Sukumaran portrays his father. Kajol also stars in the film in a role that has drawn some criticism online for its writing and execution.

Bigg Boss Malayalam 7 Promo on 'Pengalootty Paasam' sparks hilarious reactions from former contestants
Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7's promotional content is creating buzz, especially a promo that playfully mocks the 'Pengalootty Paasam' tactic. Former contestants like Sai Krishna, Sijo John, and Nandana are engaging in playful banter, hinting at past gameplay strategies. The promo references favoritism shown in Season 6, sparking reactions and anticipation for a bolder, more self-aware season. As the countdown to Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 nears its end, the makers are pulling no punches with their promotional content. The latest promo, taking a cheeky dig at the much-criticized 'Pengalootty Paasam' (brother-sister bonding tactic), has become a talking point, not just among fans, but also among former contestants who seem to know exactly who the joke is on. The promo subtly (or rather, not so subtly) mocks contestants who use emotional familial bonds to gain favor and sympathy in the game. With lines clearly hinting at past house dynamics, the video has stirred a wave of reactions on social media, especially from those who were part of similar gameplay strategies. In the comment section of the promo, Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 6 contestants Sai Krishna , Sijo John, and Nandana were spotted playfully trolling each other, acknowledging the reference. It all began with former contestant Resmin Bai, who tagged the trio and teasingly asked if they were enjoying the promo. Nandana responded with a cheeky 'thank you,' while Sai Krishna wondered if these pointed promos would translate into actual interventions on the show, asking, 'Will Mohanlal finally teach a lesson this time?' Adding to the banter, Sijo tagged Abhishek and Sibin, trying to figure out who the mysterious third character in the promo was, further fuelling speculation and laughs. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Enjoy 100% Pure New Zealand and fly Air New Zealand Fly Air New Zealand Undo Even Sijo's wife Linu joined in the fun, taking a lighthearted dig at the so-called 'Ettayimaar' (elder brothers) club that the trio was previously criticized for being part of. For context, in Season 6, both Sijo and Sai Krishna came under fire for allegedly showing favoritism toward Nandana during a key task, granting her special privileges that raised questions about fairness. With the grand premiere of Bigg Boss Malayalam 7 set for tomorrow at 7 PM, it's clear the show is already delivering entertainment before even opening its doors. If the promos are anything to go by, fans can expect a bolder, more self-aware season with plenty of drama and unexpected turns.
