The 'Full House' star, 65, recently revealed that he learned he became a grandfather on the same day he learned he had beaten his battle with Stage 3 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Coulier shared the exciting news on Saturday's episode of the 'How Rude, Tanneritos!' podcast with two of his former 'Full House' co-stars, Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler).

'It was really amazing, you know?' the 'Fuller House' star added. 'So we were like, 'Oh, this is just too much!''
Coulier's 34-year-old son, Luc, welcomed his baby son, Chance Lee, with his wife, Alex, on March 27, per People. The comedian described his grandson as a 'healthy' and 'great little baby' whom he plans to see later this month.

'He's 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and we will see him, I think, in 12 days,' Coulier said over the weekend. 'Because we're in Michigan and they're out in Sacramento.'
But the stand-up comic also said that he may have 'killed the moment' by sharing a bad joke in the Coulier family group chat following the news of his grandson's birth.
'I said to my son – everybody was teary-eyed and everything and texting when the baby was born – and I said, 'I cannot wait to see that kid's expression on his face after he pulls my finger for the first time,'' he recalled. 'And there was just like, no one responded. It's like, 'Okay. I killed the moment.''

Luckily, his son texted him back shortly after to show some appreciation for the joke.
'I just got that,' Luc responded.
March 27 was also an 'amazing' day for Coulier because it was the same day he learned that he was 100% cancer-free following a short battle with Stage 3 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

The former 'America's Funniest People' host was diagnosed with cancer in October 2024, and he announced that he was cancer-free on April 1.
'I'd like to give a heartfelt thank you to family, friends and fans for their continued prayers, love and support throughout my emotional roller coaster ride through cancer,' Coulier said earlier this month.
'I will continue to encourage others to check in with doctors to get early screenings like breast exams, colonoscopies and prostate exams,' he added.

Although his former 'Full House' and 'Fuller House' co-stars provided much-needed support amid his five-month cancer battle, Coulier admitted that he was 'prepared to die' after his fifth round of chemotherapy.
'After chemo, he was like, 'I don't know if I could do this again,'' Coulier's wife, Melissa Bring, 41, said shortly before the comedian was declared cancer-free. 'He was like, 'I'm prepared either way. If I die, I die. And if I can stay here, great. I want to.''
'Those conversations were obviously so tough,' she added at the time.

Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn's son Wyatt addresses claim he was viral protester scolding National Guardsmen during LA riots
Actor Wyatt Russell, son of Hollywood legends Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, has cleared the air after he was mistakenly identified as a man scolding law enforcement during the anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles in a viral video. The video showed a bearded protester, who has a fleeting resemblance to Wyatt Russell, donning a black sweatshirt and baseball cap and shouting at National Guardsmen standing post. The protester can be heard telling the guardsmen that they were on 'the wrong side of history' in the clip that went viral on X on Monday. 'Your assault rifles and your sticks? You should be standing here with us,' the man is heard yelling. 5 Wyatt Russell attends the New York Special Screening of 'Thunderbolts' hosted by The Cinema Society at iPic Theater on April 30, 2025 in New York City. Getty Images for Disney 'We know you got a job to do, but you took an oath to the Constitution, not to the fascists in the White House. Think about what you're doing now. Think about what this means.' Rumors started spreading like wildfire across the social media platform that the man in the footage was actually the '22 Jump Street' star. However, a spokesperson for the 38-year-old actor quickly put to rest any doubt that he was the man in the video. 'This is indeed NOT Wyatt Russell, and we have been working to try and correct the mis-identification,' the spokesperson told the Independent. The protester in the viral clip was actually Aaron Fisher, a former Ohio House Democratic Caucus staffer and now a partner at Statecraft Media — who said he got a kick out of being mistaken for his Hollywood doppelganger. 5 Wyatt Russell with his mom, actress Goldie Hawn. Matt Baron/Shutterstock 'I found the mixup to be pretty humorous, and glad it helped to amplify the message,' Fisher told Entertainment Weekly. 'The proliferation of the words themselves, and the movement behind it, is what matters most.' Fisher then used the moment to bash the deployment of the National Guard in California to help control the violent ICE riots suffocating Los Angeles. 'The deployment of the National Guard against the wishes of our Governor is dangerously un-American, and I will continue to peacefully protest in my community,' he said. 5 Severe disorder takes place in downtown Los Angeles as hundreds of law enforcement officers and the National Guard try to keep order. Toby Canham for NY Post The city has been in turmoil since protests-turned-riots erupted as US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents raided numerous workplaces and hauled off suspected illegal immigrants. The Trump administration has deployed 4,000 National Guard members to maintain order and help protect federal personnel and property. US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has also ordered 700 Marines to Los Angeles to support the National Guard troops on the ground, as well as local authorities. 5 Vehicles are seen being torched during the Los Angeles anti-ICE riots. Toby Canham for NY Post Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass announced that a curfew will go into effect in parts of downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday after five straight days of riots, looting, violent clashes with police, and more than 150 arrests. While it was confirmed that Russell wasn't the protester in the viral video, other celebrities have not shied away from throwing their support behind the anti-ICE riots. Actor Mark Ruffalo posted a lengthy message on Instagram condemning the ICE raids as things began to reach a boiling point in the city between protesters and law enforcement. 'When you have working class people going after the poor and other working class people you know you are living in an oligarchy,' Ruffalo captioned the post.

K-pop stars Jimin and Jung Kook of BTS discharged from military service as band's reunion nears
K-pop superstars Jimin and Jung Kook are the latest and final members of BTS to be discharged from South Korea's mandatory military service. The pair wore their military uniforms Wednesday, saluted and addressed fans who had assembled to see the pair after their discharge. Jung Kook thanked the journalists and fans who traveled to see him and Jimin after their discharge and acknowledged how different it was to be back in the spotlight. 'Actually, it's been so long since I've been in front of cameras, and I didn't even put on makeup, so I'm a bit embarrassed,' he said. 'I don't know what to say.' They saluted upon their release Tuesday in Chuncheon City as about 200 fans, some of whom traveled from Mexico, Turkey and Brazil, cheered. V thanked fans Tuesday for their patience in waiting for him and RM's return and teased the band's reunion. 'If you can just wait a little bit longer, we will return with a really amazing performance.' Six of the group's seven members served in the army, while Suga is fulfilling his duty as a social service agent, an alternative form of military service. He will be discharged later this month. Jin, the oldest member of K-pop supergroup BTS, was discharged in June 2024. The law gives special exemptions to athletes, classical and traditional musicians, and ballet and other dancers if they have obtained top prizes in certain competitions and are assessed to have enhanced national prestige. K-pop stars and other entertainers aren't subject to such privileges. Advertisement However, in 2020, BTS postponed their service until age 30 after South Korea's National Assembly revised its Military Service Act, allowing K-pop stars to delay their enlistment until age 30. There was heated public debate in 2022 over whether to offer special exemptions of mandatory military service for BTS members, until the group's management agency announced in October 2022 that all seven members would fulfill their duties.
