ITV viewers switched off David Tennant's new game show after just ten minutes as they shared the same complaint.
The first episode of Genius Game premiered on Wednesday evening and saw players test their intellectual acumen and attempt to win a cash prize.
Hosted by the Doctor Who star, 54, who took on the role of The Creator, the eight-part reality game series takes inspiration from a South Korea n show.
However, many viewers took issue with the new programme and commented on how 'complicated' it seemed, with many not understanding the premise.
Some took to social media to share their concerns and posted on X: 'Just starting this. Seems very complicated. I'll watch it out but not looking good tbh #GeniusGame.'
'Still have no idea how this works #GeniusGame.'
According to The Sun, one watcher turned off the show in just ten minutes and penned: 'Bye bye.'
Others said: 'Sorry #GeniusGame it's a no from me, way too complicated for that time of night, I need mindless entertainment after a busy day, ITV should've just extended #CBBUK instead.'
''I didn't understand the rules fully' - Most relatable contestant ever.'
'I'm struggling to understand. I'm clearly no genius, the rules on rules on rules are something else #GeniusGame.'
'So do you have to be a genius to understand The Genius Game? I have completely no idea what's actually happening.'
'I've given up on this already.'
'This #GeniusGame is needlessly complicated...'
While someone else enjoyed the show and wrote: 'This was a really good premiere of #GeniusGame for ITV. I'm a bit wary that the general public can't understand the games, but for me, it's about smart people trying to outsmart their peers. And I loved it.'
However, many viewers took issue with the new programme and commented on how 'complicated' it seemed, with many not understanding the premise
It comes after Alex Jones was scolded and forced to apologise for 'spoiling' David Tennant's new series live on The One Show.
The BBC presenter appeared alongside co-host Angelica Bell on Tuesday evening's instalment.
'And now you're about to front, a brand new game show,' Angelica commented.
'11 contestants, all with exceptional qualities, fighting it out for a big prize, a sum of money. Tell us about what your role is.'
David explained: 'I'm the creator, I didn't create it, but I'm called the creator.'
The star described how in the show, he was 'sort of the voice of God' and added: 'I kind of appear and give them instructions and tell them things, and make them do things.'
'They're all very bright and clever,' David said.
Alex commented: 'NASA and things?'
'Well, the NASA thing is a bit of a spoiler that,' the former Doctor Who star revealed.
Alex put her head in her hands and groveled, 'Sorry, sorry David!'
He joked back: 'You've watched the first episode clearly, that's fine.'
'So there's a stand up comic, and the crime writer and there's a forensic scientist and there's a professional poker player,' he went on.

Coronation Street legend ‘confirms' Emmerdale crossover role
Jack P Shepherd who has played the iconic character of mischievous David Platt since 2000 has teased he could be taking part in the Corrie and Emmerdale special. The Celebrity Big Brother winner appears to be the first soap star to "confirm" their involvement in the one-hour segment, announced by ITV last month. When catching up with Digital Spy at the British Soap Awards recently, Jack let slip the exciting news on the red carpet. When the actor was asked if he will be involved in the 'unprecedented' episode, which will see characters from both soaps come together in a celebration of the soap genre, he 'confidently' replied: "Yes!" But Jack's Weatherfield co-star Ben Price (David's brother Nick Tilsley), interrupted: "Are you meant to say that?" Jack responded: "I don't know!" Ben then advised his on-screen sibling not to give any details away, to which Jack continued: "I don't know if I am. Not for a fact, I don't. 'The big key hitters, I think they might have been told. There's rumours – and I'm sniffing that I might be in the periphery." He then joked: "With my Yorkshire accent. I think I'm in it, talking Yorkshire and they're like: 'Where are you from? Are you from Bradford?'" Jack's soap tease might be the news some viewers have been wanting for, as one posted on X: "corrie and emmerdale crossover episode. I need david platt & ross barton , charity & tracy , mandy & carla oh the possibilities." The "mash-up" of two of the nation's most beloved soaps is set to air on ITV next year and will be the first of its kind in British soap history. It will mark the broadcaster's new 'power hour' of soap which begins on ITV1 and STV in January 2026. ITV said the producers, scriptwriters and production teams have 'conceived an ingenious way of linking the two universes, but with characters then returning to the soaps they are renowned for inhabiting in Manchester and Yorkshire'. This month, Corrie and Emmerdale fans will be given the chance to vote for two characters (one from each soap) that they would like to see interact in a scene. Details will be launched in June via Coronation Street and Emmerdale's Instagram, Facebook and TikTok accounts, so keep an eye out if you want to get involved.

Prince Harry recently lost his publicly-funded security appeal in a humiliating blow after his round-the-clock royal protection was axed in the wake of Megxit. Meghan Markle on how dad Thomas Markle 'betrayed' her IN her candid interview with Oprah, the Duchess of Sussex opened up about her relationship with her dad and said she was left feeling crushed when he lied to her before the wedding. Meghan said she tried to 'protect' her parents from the 'media frenzy' sparked due to an 'obsession about anything in my world'. It was the first time Meghan has publicly discussed her dad, who she has not spoken to since before her wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018. Thomas, an ex-Hollywood lighting director, has spoken about her daughter's relationship publicly and described their decision to walk away from the royals as embarrassing. Their relationship soured in the run-up to their 2018 Windsor Castle wedding, when he admitted agreeing to stage pictures of himself. Meghan was asked if it felt like a 'betrayal' when she found out her dad was working with the Press, and replied: 'I'm trying to decide if I'm comfortable even talking about that. 'It was… if we were going to use the word betrayal.' Meghan added: 'Because when I asked him, when we were told by the comms team, this is a story that was going to be coming out, which, by the way, the tabloids had apparently known for a month or so and decided to hold until the Sunday before our wedding because they wanted to create drama, which is also a really key point in all this. 'We called my dad and I asked him and he said, no, absolutely not." Oprah then said: 'He said no, absolutely not. He hadn't been talking to them. So he basically lied to you.' The full transcript of the interview can be read here.
