ITV GMB's Richard Madeley told by Rebecca Loos 'we don't need to talk about this'
Good Morning Britain's Richard Madeley faced a sharp rebuff from Rebecca Loos during a heated exchange on Monday (August 11).
Rebecca initially grabbed headlines with her allegations of an affair with the married footballer David Beckham, which he has consistently and strongly refuted.
Rebecca joined the ITV show today to chat about her experience on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, currently being broadcast on Channel 4.
"It was a little bit disappointing that there was so much focus on [David Beckham] in the interrogation room, because I really did think that going in there was an opportunity for them to get to know me," she expressed to GMB presenters Richard and Kate Garraway.
"That was a very small part of my life. It is what it is," reports the Mirror.
Yet, Rebecca quickly became exasperated as Richard persisted in questioning her about David Beckham.
"Do you blame him? He was a married man with children, do you blame him? This is the last question about David Beckham," Richard pressed.
To which Rebecca responded, "I think we should just focus on SAS," with Richard insisting, "But that's the last question. Do you blame him?".
Standing firm, the television star reiterated her stance: "I want to talk about SAS, sorry Richard... We don't need to talk about this this morning, we're here for SAS."
When the discussion eventually steered back to SAS, Rebecca divulged her motivations for participating in the demanding reality programme.
"I liked the fact that you are pushed to your limits, and I thought it would be interesting to get to know myself a little bit better," she said.
"When I did the show, I was 46 going on 47, now I'm 48. Going through a lot of changes, as women do at my age, so they really did hold the mirror up."
This year's SAS cast is graced by the presence of Rebecca, alongside other notable celebrities including S Club 7's Hannah Spearritt, Love Island's Tasha Ghouri, The X Factor's Lucy Spraggan, and The Traitors winner Harry Clark.
The line-up also boasts talents like rapper Lady Leshurr, boxer Conor Benn, and Drag Race UK's crowned star Bimini Bon Boulash, all participating in the popular reality series.
