The actress took to Instagram Stories to post a selfie in which she is seen resting her head on her hand with a gentle smile, offering a glimpse into her ongoing journey.

Dipika Kakar went through a surgery for liver cancer last year
Back in June, Dipika Kakar underwent a gruelling 14-hour-long surgery and was discharged after 11 days of hospitalisation. A month later, her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, revealed in a YouTube vlog that she had begun targetted therapy treatment.
Meanwhile, in another video shared by Dipika on YouTube, she said, 'Starting today, I've begun my targeted therapy. I have to take the medicine orally after breakfast in the morning. So far, I'm not feeling anything — I'm not experiencing any side effects. But after a few days, once I take it continuously, if any side effects are going to happen, they might show up then. Still, I'm strictly following the precautionary measures my doctors have advised — like drinking plenty of water and keeping myself well-hydrated. Even if I'm not feeling hungry, I make sure to eat proper meals on time."
