Man on the run from Napa authorities after child sex crime conviction
(KRON) — The Napa Police Department is seeking the community's assistance in locating a man who was convicted of multiple counts of assault of a minor with intent to commit rape. Antonio Roman-Vega fled in November while awaiting sentencing on a 25-year term, authorities announced Thursday.
Authorities released a photo of Roman-Vega, who is wanted by the Napa County Probation Department.
The 39-year-old convict 'had a GPS monitoring device last detected on November 8 in Earlimart, just north of Delano,' Napa police said. When the Tulare County Sheriff's Office searched the area, he was not found.
'His GPS device was believed to be in the middle of a retaining pond,' said authorities.
Second arrest made in Napa County child pornography case
According to Napa PD, Roman-Vega has a black 2004 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with the California license plate 68482E1. The truck was last seen in Delano on March 10.
Anyone with information on Roman-Vega's whereabouts is asked to contact the Napa Police Department at 707-257-9223.

FBI searching for woman who allegedly assaulted officers outside immigration court in Concord
(KRON) — The Federal Bureau of Investigation's San Francisco Field Office is asking for the public's help in finding an assault suspect. The FBI is looking for a woman who assaulted federal officers on Tuesday outside of the immigration court building in Concord, the law enforcement agency announced Wednesday. The FBI believes the woman (pictured below) stole an FBI Special Agent's badge. She was wearing a black hoodie and a pink beanie at the time of the incident. No other information was provided about the woman. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the woman, along with the recovery of the stolen badge. Third man arrested after Mud Island shooting
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police arrested another man on Tuesday after two men were arrested last week in connection with the Mud Island shooting. Hunter Maness, 33, was charged with Accessory after the Fact to wit: Criminal Attempt to wit: First Degree Murder, Accessory after the Fact to wit: Employment of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Accessory after the Fact to wit: Theft of Property to wit Motor Vehicle $2,500-$10,000, and Accessory after the Fact to wit: Criminal Attempt to wit: Carjacking. Maness is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday. On June 2 at 12:45 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at Island Place East and Island Village Drive. Police said the suspects were three men in a red Chevrolet Silverado. They said that the suspects cut the victim off and attempted to steal his 2020 Ford F-150 before they shot him and fled. When the male victim was shot, he tried to get away from the suspects but ended up crashing into a mailbox. That crash caught the attention of a witness, who helped the victim stay awake until paramedics arrived. Arrests made in connection to Mud Island shooting Two other witnesses heard the gunshot, and one of them had video footage that captured the suspects' truck. The male victim was taken to Regional One in critical condition. At last check, he is expected to survive. Violent Crime Investigators arrived at the scene and gathered evidence. They determined that the suspect vehicle was stolen from the 1500 block of Monroe earlier that morning. On June 3, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., officers responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of East Holmes Road. The red Chevrolet Silverado was recovered and towed to the city lot. On June 5, 2025, DeSoto County investigators reached out and provided information on this case. VCU was advised that when DeSoto County assisted MPD with the arrests of Christopher Skelton, 29, and Justin Furnish, 42, for unrelated charges on June 2, 2025, the red truck was at the scene. ID theft duo nabbed with burglary tools, stolen items tied to 30 victims: Livermore police
(KRON) — The Livermore Police Department said its officers pulled over a vehicle that contained 'burglary tools', a fake driver's license, opened mail, several ID cards and numerous credit and debit cards linked to more than 30 identify theft victims. Many of the recovered stolen items belonged to victims from Stockton, Rancho Cordova, Lodi, and Elk Grove, confirmed LPD. Victim dies after Bayfront Park attack, DA seeks additional charges LPD said the discovery unfolded on June 3, around midnight, after police conducted a traffic stop on a blue Toyota Highlander in a business parking lot on the 2000 block of Las Positas Road. Police identified the two suspects as Elaina Zachocki, 31, and Thaveesak Kham, 35, both of Stockton. Zachocki allegedly told officers that she had an active warrant, and police said Kham initially provided a false name. Livermore PD said a records check confirmed that both suspects had prior felony convictions linked to identify theft.
