The actor, born into a multi-religious family, has always emphasised unity and respect for all religions, but Eid remains closest to his heart. Traditionally, Salman celebrates the festival with his family at their Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartments.

Set in Saudi Arabia, the film blends Bollywood star power with international filmmaking talent. The teaser has already generated considerable buzz among fans. Salman and Sanjay will make cameo appearances in the film.
The superstar is also set to star in a war drama based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash — one of the most sensitive and talked-about military conflicts in recent Indian history. The project, which will reportedly be helmed by Shootout at Lokhandwala director Apoorva Lakhia, is being positioned as a patriotic, high-stakes film grounded in real events.
According to a report in Mid-Day, while Salman has not yet signed the film on paper, he has verbally greenlit the concept and is actively involved in early planning. The film is being backed by Salman Khan Films and is expected to go on floors within the next five months. Sources suggest the shoot will take place extensively in Ladakh, bringing authenticity to the film's narrative, which is expected to dramatise the brutal hand-to-hand combat between Indian and Chinese soldiers along the Line of Actual Control in June 2020.

Chahal and Dhanashree were granted divorce by the Mumbai family court in March this year, ending their five-year marriage. The duo tied the knot in December 2020 but as per their petition, they separated in June 2022. In February this year, the couple filed a joint petition before the family court seeking divorce by mutual consent. Now, Chahal has revealed that he has not texted or talked to Dhanashree for a long time now. He added that after 2024 T20 World Cup, the couple was left with formal talks only. "I had not seen her for a very long time, and then I saw her on a video call, where the lawyers spoke to us. That's it, no message or anything after that. Before the divorce, we weren't on talking terms for six to seven months. We would talk only if there was something very important; otherwise, nothing.
