Tyreek Hill runs 100 meters in 10.15 seconds at California track meet
Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill showed up with little fanfare at a track meet in California on Friday and won the 100-meter dash with an impressive time of 10.15 seconds.
That's an incredibly fast race considering that Hill is 31 years old and hadn't run track competitively since college, and shows that if Hill had wanted to focus on track instead of football, he has the talent to be an elite sprinter. DK Metcalf, who competed in a 100-meter race in 2021, was widely praised for his time of 10.37 seconds. Hill bested Metcalf's time easily.
Hill's race was part of the Last Chance Sprint Series, and the competition Hill beat was solid: Isaac Bostio, who was last year's NCAA Division II national champion in the 100 meters, finished second among all the 100-meter runners at the meet, behind Hill at 10.18 seconds. In Hill's own heat, the second-place finisher was former Michigan sprinter Asani Hampton in 10.26 seconds.
Hill has been talking up a race with Noah Lyles, and after winning the race on Friday, Hill held up a sign saying, 'Noah could never.' The reality is Lyles could beat Hill easily in a 100-meter sprint, but Hill still did something incredibly impressive on the track on Friday.

That 2028 campaign would just be Tagovailoa's age-30 season. The best-case scenario for the Dolphins is that Tagovailoa does a better job mitigating injury risks and resembles that 2023 version of himself as a byproduct. With one of the league's top duos at receiver in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, the expectation should be that Miami morphs back into one of the NFL's best offenses with a healthy Tagovailoa pulling the strings. But, if the 2025 campaign goes sideways, there's no telling what the collective front office might think about the direction the franchise is headed in and whether or not Tagovailoa is the Dolphins' quarterback of the future.

Dolphins' Bradley Chubb 'not taking anything for granted' in return Dolphins linebacker Bradley Chubb is gearing up to make his long-awaited return to the field since suffering a torn ACL in Week 17 of the 2023 season which forced him to miss all of last year. The timing of Chubb's injury was even more significant considering he was putting together his best statistical season since his rookie year. Chubb totaled career bests with 73 tackles and six forced fumbles along with 11 sacks (just one short of his career best of 12). On Wednesday, Chubb expressed gratitude in returning to being a leader on the field wearing the orange jersey. 'It was cool, man. It was dope, just to see all the work come to light. Still got a long way to go in terms of perfecting my craft but working towards it each and every day. Putting my head down, getting the work in and to see that get acknowledged was dope,' Chubb said. It has been a long road to recovery for Chubb. There was some speculation during last season that Chubb could return at some point. But his injury didn't heal fast enough, and the team spent the majority of the season with bleak playoff hopes. So, trying to rush Chubb back didn't make a lot of sense. There was some doubt as to if Chubb would remain a Dolphin going into this season considering their cap issues. But, Chubb fortunately agreed to a contract restructure and will get a chance to return to his elite play. He will join forces with fellow edge rushers Jaelan Phillips and Chop Robinson. This group will be a tough challenge for any offense next season. 'I'm not taking anything for granted man," said Chubb. "When you're actually just putting in that blood, sweat and tears with the guys, that's how you bond, that's how you connect. So sitting back last year, yeah, I could try to lead from the back, but it just wasn't the same. "Just being able to be out here, running around and physically getting up on guys, dapping them up like, 'Good job, I'm about to go do the same thing.' That just brings a different energy, a different tone and that's what I tried to do this year, this whole offseason, just let guys know that this is not promised and each and every day you've got to earn it. God is fortunate enough to put us in this position, so we've just got to take advantage of it.' Chubb is entering his seventh year in the league and third with the Dolphins. He has been a starter since his rookie year and been named to the pro bowl twice. In his first six years, Chubb has totaled 256 tackles, 45 tackles for loss 39.5 sacks, 92 QB hits, and 13 forced fumbles. His unfortunate injury history has held him back from fully reaching his potential. Chubb has an excellent chance this season to show the Dolphins and the entire NFL that he is one of the elite edge rushing linebackers in all of football.
