Netflix just dropped a chaotic trailer for the next crime thriller from the creators of 'Money Heist' — and it looks like a wild watch
Miss "Money Heist?" Netflix recently dropped a teaser trailer (and release date!) for the creators' next show, "Billionaires' Bunker" — and it looks like a gripping watch.
Swapping break-ins for sit-ins, Álex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato's upcoming Spanish crime thriller invites us inside a luxury, "Fallout"-style underground bunker alongside a group of super-rich elites who've locked themselves away in fear of global conflict.
Judging by the scenes in this "Billionaires' Bunker" teaser, life within the bunker really goes off the rails. Check it out below:
Soundtracked with the incongruously cheery song, "Downtown," the teaser wastes little time before showing that life inside Kimera Underground Park (where they've taken shelter) is going to be anything but easy.
Within about 1 minute's worth of footage, we see snapshots of fraught relationships, disagreements, fights, emotional troubles, and an explosive hint that life as we know it (i.e., outside this powderkeg setting) might well be coming to its end.
Clearly, tensions between these billionaires (and the staff locked away along with them!) are about to run very high indeed...
Can't wait to see what's in store? This first "Billionaires' Bunker" teaser confirms that we'll be stepping inside this exclusive new home in just a few months, as the new series premieres exclusively on Netflix on Friday, September 19.

If the above chaos wasn't enough to earn "Billionaires' Bunker" a spot on your September watchlist, Netflix has already shared a synopsis for the new series.
It reads: "In a luxury bunker designed to endure any imaginable catastrophe, a group of billionaires is forced to coexist after locking themselves in due to the threat of an unprecedented global conflict. Kimera Underground Park becomes a claustrophobic setting for two families marked by a wound from the past. Isolated underground and with no possibility of escape, they unleash personalities uncovering their most unconfessable secrets. But the most unexpected alliances also emerge. An excessive and surprising emotional X-ray of billionaires living in a golden hole."
We've also had confirmation of which stars will be taking up residence within the "Billionaires' Bunker." The series stars Miren Ibarguren, Joaquín Furriel, Natalia Verbeke, Carlos Santos, Montse Guallar, Pau Simón, Alicia Falcó, Agustina Bisio, and Álex Villazán, among others.
If you want an extra taste of what's in store, Netflix shared a Spanish-language video walking us through the facilities available inside Kimera Underground Park over on the Netflix Spain YouTube channel.

Season 2 will arrive in two volumes: Volume 1 premieres July 3 with six episodes, followed by Volume 2 on July 24, which brings five more. But that's not all. Netflix will also drop a surprise twelfth episode, described as a bonus chapter, coming on July 31. The episode titles for the upcoming season are as rich and ominous as fans might hope. They are: 'Season of Mists' 'The Ruler of Hell' 'More Devils Than Vast Hell Can Hold' 'Brief Lives' 'The Sons of Orpheus' 'Family Blood' 'Time and Night' 'Fuel for the Fire' 'The Kindly Ones' 'Long Live the King' 'A Tale of Graceful Ends' 'Death: The High Cost of Living' Each title was accompanied by a first-look image, teasing familiar faces along with strange new ones. This final season is shaping up to be a visually rich and emotionally heavy run. The upcoming season will adapt several pivotal stories from Neil Gaiman's iconic comic, including 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and 'The Song of Orpheus.' In the next season: 'After a fateful reunion with his family, Dream of the Endless must face one impossible decision after another as he attempts to save himself, his kingdom, and the waking world from the epic fallout of his past misdeeds. 'To make amends, Dream must confront longtime friends and foes, gods, monsters, and mortals. But the path to forgiveness is full of unexpected twists and turns, and true absolution may cost Dream everything. 'Based on the beloved award-winning DC comic series, the second season of The Sandman will tell Dream's story arc in full to its thrilling conclusion.' Returning to the dreamscape are the Endless: Dream (Tom Sturridge), Death (Kirby Howell-Baptiste), Despair (Donna Preston), and Delirium (Esmé Creed-Miles). They'll be joined by new additions like Ruairi O'Connor as Orpheus, Freddie Fox as Loki, Clive Russell as Odin, and Laurence O'Fuarain as Thor a family of characters who are anything but ordinary. The Sandman comes from showrunner Allan Heinberg, who says he had already planned that the second season to be it's last before it was filmed in the summer of 2023. Netflix didn't confirm the end of the show until January of this year, around the same time of the sexual misconduct accusations made against The Sandman graphic novel author and series executive producer Neil Gaiman. The Sandman Season 2 Volume 1 hits Netflix on July 3. Volume 2 follows on July 24, and the surprise finale arrives July 31.

File Photo by Chris Chew/UPI | License Photo June 4 (UPI) -- Adolescence star Owen Cooper discussed what it was like receiving praise from Leonardo DiCaprio when he stopped by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday. The actor, 15, portrays Jamie Miller, a 13-year-old accused of stabbing and killing a girl in his class, in the four-episode series. The show, which premiered in March, is currently the second most popular English-language series on Netflix with over 141 million views. "He was saying, 'Hey, Owen, I'm such a massive fan of Adolescence,'" Cooper said, describing DiCaprio's praise. "And I was like 'What?!'" Fallon then brought up how people are comparing the actor to DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. "It's weird to be honest," Cooper said. "I think, to me, just a normal kid from Warrington, to even be in the same conversation as Robert De Niro is crazy."

Meghan Markle gives rare glimpse of Princess Lilibet in birthday tribute, breaks pattern of privacy
Meghan Markle is celebrating a milestone in her family. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared a never-before-shown photo of her rarely-seen daughter, Princess Lilibet, for her 4th birthday. In black-and-white photos, Markle is seen holding Princess Lilibet on what appears to be a boat, as the wind flows through their hair. Markle looked lovingly down at her daughter, as the 4 year old hid behind her mother's arms. "Happy birthday to our beautiful girl!" Markle captioned the post. "Four years ago today she came into our lives - and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!" The second photo in the Instagram post showed Markle holding Princess Lilibet as a newborn baby. The Duchess of Sussex's sweet birthday tribute comes after she previously reflected on how royal motherhood could have been different for her. Last month, during one of her episodes on "Confessions of a Female Founder" podcast, the "Suits" alum admitted that things did not pan out how she would have liked. "I will say… I've always wanted to be a mom," she shared at the time. "I was like, 'Oh gosh, I'm going to give a speech with a baby on my hip.' I had a whole vision. Granted, I had a lot of external things happening by the time I had both pregnancies and both babies. But it was not the way I envisioned it." Markle, a former American actress, became the Duchess of Sussex when she married Prince Harry in 2018. In 2019, they welcomed their son Prince Archie while they were still senior members of the royal family. Then, in 2020, the couple announced they were stepping back as senior royals, citing the unbearable intrusions of the British press and a lack of support from the palace. That year, they moved to California. In 2021, they welcomed their daughter, Lilibet. Since their royal exit, Markle has shared limited photos and videos of her kids without showing their faces. The couple also does not take them to public events where they could be photographed by paparazzi. After Harry and Markle stepped down from their royal duties, the couple aired out their grievances in interviews and a Netflix series. Harry additionally published a 2023 tell-all memoir, "Spare." The Duke and Duchess of Sussex continue to raise their children in the wealthy coastal city of Montecito, California.
