Two Food Lovers Meet In Search Of A Recipe In ‘Tastefully Yours'
The characters played by Kang Ha-neul and Go Min-si have very different takes on fine dining.
Viewers of the k-drama Tastefully Yours may not initially like the character Han Beom-woo. He's kind of obnoxious. He's inconsiderate and pretentious, all qualities he comes by naturally. It's the way he was raised. His family runs a food empire and they are so competitive, he's encouraged to compete with his own brother.
Beom-soo, played by Kang Ha-neul, works for the family business, but his real obsession is with his restaurant Motto. His brother (Bae Na-ra) also has a restaurant and whichever brother first earns three gold stars for his own restaurant will be chosen to run the family corporation. Both brothers are working hard to make that happen. But Beom-woo can't do it alone.
Complicating his efforts is Motto's celebrity chef, Jang Young-hye, played by Hong Hwa-yeon (Buried Hearts, True to Love, Mental Coach Jegal). Young-hye is not as invested in the restaurant's ranking as Beom-woo so she's more casual about deadlines, which concerns him. There's a dish he wants to put on the menu that he's waiting for her to make. When someone posts a photo of a similar looking dish online, he goes all the way to Jeonju to see the dish for himself. Beom-woo is about to get the recipe for transforming his life.
Go Min-si's character runs a restaurant in Jeonju that Kang Ha-neul's character wants to buy.
The photo-posting restaurant turns out to be pretty obscure. It's not just hard to find, it seems to be a failure, at least in terms of making enough money to pay the rent. The homey restaurant is run by Mo Yeon-joo, played by Go Min-si (Sweet Home, Love Alarm and Youth of May) . Yeon-joo loves to cook for the sake of cooking, rather than for any restaurant ranking. After tasting her farm-to-table fare, Beom-soo is impressed. He offers to acquire her restaurant for his family's company, but Yeon-joo is not selling. Still, there is something about the flavor of her food that appeals to Beom-woo's senses.
While these characters have different takes on fine dining, he's quick to recognize that she's a gifted chef. His plan for Motto's success may not work without the right chef to help create gold star worthy recipes. Yeon-joo may be just the right chef.
Kang Ha-neul also appears in three films this year, Yadang: The Snitch, Streaming and Wall to Wall. The actor starred in the dramas Squid Game 2, Curtain Call, The Kidnapping Day and When The Camellia Blooms.
Tastefully Yours is directed by Park Dan-hee, who directed Weak Hero Class 1. The drama airs on Netflix.

Why a Wedding Dress Rental Might Be the Perfect Addition to Your Bridal Wardrobe
Did you know that having a wedding dress rental is actually a common practice in countries like Japan, South Korea, and China? While in the United States, brides spend an average of over $1,000 on a dress they'll wear only once, it's possible to find an alternative that costs much less and has a minimal carbon footprint. While the options are somewhat limited if you're looking to rent a dramatic ball gown in the United States, there are a growing number of rental options if you're looking for a white cocktail look or a sleek slip. 'In my experience, brides are more inclined to rent dresses for pre-wedding events and the reception or after party rather than their main ceremony gown,' shares Kate Loscalzo, founder of Something White Styling, which offers curated rentals along with bridal styling services. 'The actual wedding dress often involves more personalized alterations and reflects a very specific, individual style preference.' That said, the number of rental services has grown in recent years, providing great options for to-be-weds that want to save a little as it's becoming more common to have multiple wedding day looks. 'Renting your wedding wardrobe is definitely becoming more popular,' says Loscalzo. 'Brides can explore multiple looks for different wedding events without exceeding their budget, experience wearing a high-end designer piece without paying the full retail value, support a more conscious, circular approach to fashion, have the freedom to wear something modern or bold without the long-term commitment, and eliminate the need to store or preserve numerous white dresses that may not be worn again.' Depending on the rental service you choose, you might not even have to stress about cleaning the dress after you've worn it. 'It's so nice not to have to worry about dry-cleaning after your bridal event! Just pack it up and use the prepaid label to return the rental items to us and we'll handle the rest,' shares Kaitlyn Bailey, VP of fashion and buying at Rent The Runway. Of course, be wary that a bit too much wear can translate to later shelling out a hefty damage fee. 'Even though it's rented, it's still a designer piece and they can be delicate,' notes Loscalzo. 'Jumping in a pool is—unfortunately—not a good idea.' Think you may want a rental in your bridal fashion lineup? Read ahead to learn everything about how you can rent an ensemble for your wedding events. How Do Wedding Dress Rentals Work? Renting a wedding dress is a reasonably seamless process depending on what service you use. There are a few boutiques that rent dresses that allow you to try on a potential rental in person before deciding on your choice. Others just have you choose the rental for a website or app and set the days when you will have the dress in your possession. In most cases, you need to pay for the rental before it is sent to you. After the rental period passes, you either will ship back the gown or drop it off in person. How Much Is a Wedding Dress Rental? Depending on where you're ordering from and the designer of the garment, your dress rental can range from $12 to $1200. While you might not be able to keep the dress after the big day, you can have the peace of mind that you're likely saving a pretty penny on your wedding budget. 'Renting allows brides to wear designer-quality styles without the price tag or waste,' says Bailey. 'You're only paying about 10 percent of the retail value to rent the item for the weekend, so instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a new dress, you could rent one for around $50.' Can You Alter a Rental Wedding Dress? The short answer: not very much. While a few wedding dress rental companies will allow some small adjustments to a garment like hemming or shortening straps, others won't allow you to do much more than using styling tools like fashion tape. If you need to do anything more drastic, it's a good idea to find an option in a different size. 'We do offer some dress styles in petite and long lengths as well as a free backup size when placing a reserve one-time rental order,' notes Bailey. If all else fails, you might want to stick with purchasing a piece that you can properly alter to your measurements. Wedding Dress Rental Companies So where exactly can you rent a dress for your special day? See a few options ahead. Subscription Services While you may be familiar with Rent the Runway's subscription-based model, the popular clothing rental company offers an eight-day rental reserve that can be booked up to four months in advance for a single garment. 'The eight-day rental also includes the option to book a free backup size,' shares Bailey. 'Additionally, accessories like clutches and earrings are available to rent for only $15.' You could also rent something from the five-item or 10-item subscription packages, but you won't be able to ensure the piece is available in your size until the day you book the rental.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Should Get Its Most Important App Soon
Switch 2 The Nintendo Switch 2 is out and has sold millions of copies already. Its game roster is mostly reprised hits, with only a few truly new entries (Mario Kart World), but owners also want the handheld to be able to do more than just play games. As it stands, there is no YouTube app on the Nintendo Switch 2, mirroring the issue that the Switch 1 had for a long while. The original Switch was launched on March 3, 2017 and it did not get the much-requested YouTube app until November 8, 2018, over a year later. Nintendo and Google are apparently both trying to avoid that kind of lengthy wait this time around. The YouTube team app responded to a fan asking about the issue, and got a response: I'm not sure a list of other devices that play YouTube is helpful here. The timeline here is 'soon,' which I take to mean less than a year like we saw with the Switch 1. I am amazed that Nintendo has been making this console for probably half a decade and once again it launched without key dedicated video apps, YouTube included. I'm not clear on how they can get CDPR to tireless work on making Cyberpunk 2077 work well on the Switch but they can't figure out how to get YouTube or Hulu on the system for launch. It's bizarre. FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder Right now you can transfer the old YouTube Switch app to the Switch 2 but…it doesn't work, so that's not any sort of workaround. This is one of those things where I think we give Nintendo too much slack about, the fact that the console can launch with almost no actually new games and not even a ton of standard apps that it should have for day one. But hey, it's Nintendo and Nintendo always gets passes. Hopefully we hear more about this soon from a source other than what a help account bot, but I have to believe it's a priority on at least Google's side, if not Nintendo's. There's no way it can take as long as it did last time, right? Right? Follow me on Twitter, YouTube, Bluesky and Instagram. Pick up my sci-fi novels the Herokiller series and The Earthborn Trilogy.

Nintendo Is Delaying the ‘Legend of Zelda' Movie, but Only a Little Bit
Hoping that you'll still be oohing and ahhing over your new Switch 2, Nintendo has a teensy little bit of bad news: the Legend of Zelda movie is being delayed. The good news is that it's not for that long. Taking to Twitter rather than the Nintendo Today app this time, Shigeru Miyamoto released a brief statement confirming that Wes Ball's live-action Zelda movie will now release just over a month later than planned, on May 7, 2027. This is Miyamoto. For production reasons, we are changing the release date of the live-action film of The Legend of Zelda to May 7, 2027. It will be some weeks later than the release timing we originally announced, and we will take the extra time to make the film as good as it… — 任天堂株式会社 (@Nintendo) June 9, 2025 'For production reasons, we are changing the release date of the live-action film of The Legend of Zelda to May 7, 2027. It will be some weeks later than the release timing we originally announced, and we will take the extra time to make the film as good as it can be,' the statement reads in part. 'Thank you for your patience.' The release date, and now this changed one, is pretty much all we've definitively heard about the Zelda movie since its shock announcement from Nintendo and Sony Pictures back in November 2023. Although recently rumors have begun to swirl about potential casting, so much of just how one of the most beloved gaming series of all time is going to make the leap to live-action (outside of the occasional funky TV ad, that is) remains to be seen. We'll bring you more on Sony and Nintendo's plans for the Zelda movie as and when we learn them.
