'My friend picked Kim Kardashian-inspired names for triplets and I'm cringing'
A woman has been left cringing with embarrassment after hearing what her friend wants to name her triplets. She shared how her friend has taken inspiration from Kim Kardashian when naming her three boys while ensuring their names 'flow' with one another.
Taking to Reddit, she said: "My friend is having triplet boys later this year, and when I went to visit her, I asked her what names she had in mind. She said she's set on these three names - Bishop, Deacon and Pope." However, she is now changing Bishop to Saint as she has fallen in love with him after Kim Kardashian named her son Saint.
She added: "I looked at her in utter shock, and I didn't even bother to ask for the middle names."
Commenting on the monikers, one user said: "Deacon wouldn't be too bad by itself, but Pope is completely unhinged, omg. Just pick classic Bible names like normal people."
Another user added: "Bishop reminds me of the Marvel hero, and Deacon is a pretty obscure reference that only Catholics would get. Honestly it's the kid named Pope that ruins it."
A third user said: "Tragic and tragedy… there are so many nice normal names that are related to her religion too."
One more user added: "These names would be illegal in my country and she would be told it was denied and to think of something else." Another user said: "Saint is going to be the favourite."
Despite the criticism, many religious names are deeply embedded in cultural traditions and have been passed down through generations.
For example, in many cultures, biblical or other religious names (like Mary, John, or Mohammed) have been traditionally given to children as a way of preserving heritage and honouring ancestry.
Religious names often carry deep spiritual or symbolic meanings, reflecting qualities such as virtue, faith, or devotion to God. For example, "Faith" and "Grace" are Christian-inspired names that represent positive spiritual qualities.
Meanwhile, names like "Noah" (Hebrew for "rest" or "comfort") or "Fatima" (a revered name in Islamic culture) are chosen for the meanings associated with them in religious contexts.
Plenty of celebrities are also fond of monikers that have religious connotations. Kim Kardashian is the person who has inspired others to opt for the name 'Saint'.
Meanwhile, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin called their son Moses, Will Ferrell and Viveca Paulin picked Matthias and Amy Poehler and Will Arnett were drawn to the name Abel. The possibilites are endless!

Final Boss meaning explained as Ibiza raver Jack Kay returns to party island
Jack Kay has become an internet sensation after a video of him dancing in a club in Ibiza went viral - with many dubbing him the Ibiza Final Boss. But where does the term come from? Unless you've been living under a rock for the past week, you're likely aware of the 'Ibiza Final Boss' - or Jack Kay - who has become an internet sensation. The 26-year-old Brit was recently caught on camera raving at an open-air club on the White Isle, and the video quickly went viral thanks to his 'Battle of Hastings' bob-style haircut. After the video was shared on TikTok, Jack quickly became the latest addition to the internet hall of fame, attracted the attention of brands and even swapping budget airlines for a private jet. It comes after the now infamous Ibiza Final Boss Jack Kay's girlfriend speaks out after his incredible haircut goes viral. But what exactly is a 'Final Boss' and where does the phrase originate from? we explain everything you need to know as the 'Ibiza Bob' legend returns to the party island to dance the night away with his pals. What is a Final Boss? If you're familiar with the world of gaming, then you'll recognise the term 'Final Boss'. The term typically refers to the ultimate boss - or villain - that you have to fight at the end of a level or game, reports the Daily Star. Think Bowser in Super Mario, or Doctor Eggman in Sonic. They're the 'Final Boss' - the toughest to defeat, the best of their kind, they hold the power and no one can surpass them. So how does that relate to the Ibiza Final Boss? Well, Jack simply embodies 'Final Boss' energy - he is the epitome of what an Ibiza party lad is according to the internet. He's got the gear, the flashy gold sunglasses, the dazzling white teeth, the muscles, the dance moves, the gift of the gab and the questionable hairdo. Where did the term 'Final Boss' originate? Now that we've established that, let's delve deeper into where the term 'final boss' originated. Surprisingly, it might not have been born from Super Mario's Bowser - despite the evil turtle being the most recognisable. We have to look all the way back to 1974, when fantasy tabletop roleplaying games started to become a massive hit for young lads in basements. Amongst gaming-related forums on Reddit, many computer buffs believe that Dungeons and Dragons has the original 'Final Boss'. Throughout the campaign of chaotic evil and neutral good characters making their way around the map, the game would feature a main enemy acting as the 'boss' to the minions that players would have to battle. Others have speculated that video game Galaga, of 1981, was the first to have a 'final' boss. The arcade shooter game includes the ultimate bad guy called 'Boss Galaga'. Then there's the Nintendo super fans who believe that Bowser is actually the first final boss, making the style of character popular from his initiation in 1985. Perhaps someone needs to create an Ibiza Final Boss game - we'd love to see it.

Outlander Blood of my Blood fans already have favourite couple as they praise 'phenomenal' scenes
Outlander fans have been thrilled at the new hit show, which follows the tale of both Claire and Jamie Fraser's parents in a riveting new time-travelling series. Outlander Blood of My Blood has been the hot topic across the globe, as the spin-off show finally aired to UK audiences over the weekend. Hitting screens on August 8, fans of the original Outlander franchise had a whole new world to get stuck into. Despite only two episodes being released so far, many have already set their sights on their favourites. The spin-off show will unravel the tale of both Outlander 's main stars, Jamie and Claire Fraser's parents. Taking to discussion platform Reddit, one fan wrote: "OBSESSED with Ellen and Brian and loving the Julia/Henry backstory of this episode so far. The falling in love through letter writing was so cute. The depiction of Henry's shell shock, and how she anchors kiss". "I'm liking the Julia and Henry storyline way more than I thought!," quipped another fan as a third chimed: "I wasn't expecting to love Henry and Julia this much - but dang I do! I see both of them in her." A fourth added: "I'm surprisingly more invested in Henry and Julia at this point. That could change. Lord Lovat is deliciously vile. He is so slimy. I can see he's a character I'm going to love to hate." "I agree with a lot of people. Im actually more invested in Julia and Henry," wrote another fan. Someone else agreed, noting the reason why they might be leaning towards the couple, as they said:" I'm definitely more invested in Henry and Julia than I am Brian and Ellen (maybe because we're more familiar with that story?)." Another fan said: "They're really laying the Claire-Julia parallels on thick. So far, Henry and Julia have a much more compelling story than Brian and Ellen to me. Can't wait to see what's next!" Elsewhere, fans also praised the "phenomenal" camera work in the spin-off series as they buzzed about the World War I scenes. "No one is talking about how good that WWI stuff was," one fan noted. They continued: "I was pretty amazed but how gross and gritty and real it all felt, especially since the later seasons of Outlander seemed to lose some of that." Fans were quick to chime in, adding: "Totally agree! The WWI scenes looked as good as any WWI or WWII movie I've seen in a theatre. I think Culloden was the last time I've felt that way on Outlander. All of the battle scenes after that have seemed almost amateurish in comparison." A third said: "OMG yes!! The cinematography was phenomenal. A friend of mine went to a screening and saw it on the big screen. She said it blew everyone away. It was like watching a big budget film rather than a television show." "Also those war scenes were done brilliantly. They def spent a lot on production for this show," added another fan. The series will follow two new love stories, one which starts on the battlefields of the Western Front during World War I and the other in the meadows of Scotland in the early 18th century. Since its debut more than a decade ago, Outlander itself has amassed a global fanbase. The historical romance series, centring round Claire Randall/Fraser (Caitríona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan), saw their love affair quickly capture hearts. However with the show nearing its end with the eighth and final season set for 2026, the phenomenon is expanding in the form of a spin-off to Diana Gabaldon's treasured franchise.
