The chaos of the multiverse in Marvel Rivals is not cooling down. As Season 3.5 closes its chapter, the fans are all hyped for what wonders Season 4 promises to hold: new heroes, new maps.
Basically, another major expansion for the narrative and the competitive edge of the game.
Season 4 Release Date
According to the official roadmap and the count-down timer inside the game, Marvel Rivals Season 4 shall be out on September 12, 2025, closing really the Season 3.5 that brought Blade into the fray while pushing deeper into the dark storyline of Hela and Knull. This is the second season to follow the new two-month cycle, so the players are now being delivered the content frequently and often to explore.
The Fate of Hela and the Rise of Dizang
From the lens of lore, the in-game storyline offers one of the most intriguing teases for Season 4. In the Season 3.5 timeline, Hela was defeated by Blade with Dracula's sword and escaped to the mysterious Eighth City. Here, she met the shadowy figure Dizang, who leads her on a way to redemption.
But who is Dizang? Lore excerpts and artwork provide hints that this mysterious character could indeed be a new incarnation and disguise for Daredevil.
The gallery art with the horned figure with glowing eyes has only added fuel to this speculation, making Daredevil one of the strongest contenders to appear in Season 4.
Marvel Rivals Season 4 TEASE?! NEW Legendary Skins!
Would Iron Fist Enter the Arena?
Iron Fist might surely enter with some changes in the mythos itself. The Eighth City, being very much rooted in Marvel Comics, is depicted as a prison of evils attached to the legendary Seven Capital Cities of Heaven-a lore tied in directly with Iron Fist.
Given how much emphasis is placed on lore-based updates by the franchise, it would not be a surprise to tie Season 4 into the broader mythos of Iron Fist.
If developers choose to go down that road, players could find themselves stepped foot into K'un Lun, the mystical abode of kung fu and home of Shou-Lao, the immortal dragon. Similar to how Krakoa was the central theme to the X-Men in Season 2, K'un Lun could be the spiritual and narrative center to Season 4.
This, in turn, opens doors for some martial arts-based mechanics and abilities to freshen up gameplay dynamics.
New Heroes and Gameplay Features
There have been no official announcements so far, but everything suggests the introduction of at least one new hero to the roster by Season 4. Potential candidates are:
Daredevil
: Bringing agility along rooftops and close-quarter combat precision.
Iron Fist:
Carrying with him mystic martial arts and dragon-powered strikes.
Other Heroes:
Eighth City storyline might introduce some allies or rivals linked to Daredevil's backstory.
Apart from heroes, expect maps drawing inspiration from K'un Lun or Eighth City, further balance updates, and possibly limited-time events related to the darker tones of the lore.
Season 4 of Marvel Rivals is shaping up to be a synthesis of mystic lore, street-level happenings, and intense gameplay. From Daredevil coming back to Iron Fist finally being introduced to K'un Lun and beyond, this update intends to solidify the game's identity of not just being a brawler but a living Marvel universe with each season being a new chapter. One thing sure to be exciting is the multiverse battle commencing on September 12, 2025.

While Jennifer Garner is 'knee deep' in wedding planning with John Miller, ex Ben Affleck might not be handling the situation well: Read here

Jennifer Garner and John Miller have been together on an on-and-off basis for the past 7 years, and now the couple has finally come to a conclusion of getting married. Reportedly, the decision, however, is not something that Garner's ex-partner Ben Affleck has been able to handle properly. Ben Affleck may be having a hard time dealing with the change Ben Affleck, who has already been making headlines for his publicised split with Jennifer Lopez, might just not be ready to see his ex, Jennifer Garner, walk down the aisle. According to reports from Globe Magazine, the 'Batman' actor was allegedly "clinging" to the thought that Garner may call the decision off after thinking about it, though that does not seem to be the path that the actress is taking. A statement from the report read that, "It's open knowledge among her friends [that] she's knee deep in wedding planning, she's looking into the perfect venue, the invitations she wants to send out, the music [and] the guest list". Though it seemed that Garner took her time to consider tying the knot, she is now full steam ahead with the plan. 'Jen has been back and forth on whether to marry John for a while — now she's telling friends it's happening, how happy they both are, and that John's her soulmate,' added the report. About Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck started dating in 2004, after working together on 'Daredevil'. A year later, they ended up getting married. They have two daughters, Violet and Seraphina, and a son, Samuel. The two officially split and went their own ways in 2015, though they have remained friends over the years. Unsure what to stream? Not just you, everyone is

Too many options! That feeling when you're skipping from one show to another, telling yourself, 'I'll finally start something new tonight.' And 20–30 minutes later, you're still scrolling. Next day the cycle repeats itself. That draining feeling has a name - choice fatigue - the exhaustion and dread that kicks in when you're trying to decide what to watch next on a streaming platform. This fatigue is so real that streaming platforms have researched it and even rolled out features to fix it. Spoiler: it's not really helping! It's an exhausting chore to find a show that consumes you! Viewers say they often find themselves abandoning a series after 5–10 minutes, looking for something better. 'It's indeed a task to find a series that grabs my attention and is worthy of my time,' says Sanjay, an IPS officer. 'Sometimes I spend 15–20 minutes trying to choose a show that I might turn off after 5 minutes. Once I find something that hooks me, I finish it, whether or not I can binge it.' Viewers say that while streaming platforms have some amazing shows, those shows are buried under thumbnails and autoplay trailers. The hunt itself becomes exhausting. Sometimes, all it takes is one bad show to kill the mood for the whole week. 'I'm a big fan of Korean dramas,' says Imaan, a crew member of a web series. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Berkshire Hathaway: American Investor Warren Buffett Recommends These 5 Books For Turning Your Li... Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo 'But I often I scroll and watch a series for 5-10 minutes and realise I don't want to watch this series today. Now I pre-screen shows through Instagram reels. If I like a clip, I search for that show. At least there's some filter to save my time.' FOMO works! And of course, there's FOMO. She says,"Adolescence kept showing up on my was praising it. And honestly, it lived up to it." What's everyone watching? What's everyone talking about? Which shows keep coming up on timelines - those are definitely what viewers go after. Adriana D'Souza,, who works in hospitality agrees, 'I watched Adolescence because I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to understand why everyone is praising it. So, FOMO works. When everyone is going gaga about a show, you want to find out what it is. FOMO definitely works for me. I keep weekends for sampling. Or when I have nothing better to do, I watch 5–10 minutes of a show to sample it. If I like it then I go back to it during my couch time. ' Platforms are well aware of this habit of viewers. That's why they've created features like Play Something and pushed Top Picks, Trending Now, and Oscar-season collections to the homepage. But it rarely works. Because good storytelling isn't about being pushed. It's about being pulled in, says Manjusha Singh, an artist. 'A good show is a good show.' She says that she rarely finishes anything. 'I'm always looking for something that grabs me in the first five minutes. Not something I have to warm up to. I don't have that patience for a web series.' 'Rewatching because I can't waste my entertainment window' Another viewer, Sudhir Bakshi, who works for a cinema chain, says to not miss the one-hour window he gets, he mostly re-watches. 'Honestly, choosing a series or a film to watch on OTT feels like a chore. It's an exhausting chore to find a show that truly consumes you! And I don't want to scroll my phone or social media when I've time to catch a series or a film. So, my solution is rewatching old series. When White Lotus released, I watched the previous seasons in between the weekly drops just to make sure my evenings were sorted. I did the same with Succession, Friends, Brooklyn, Modern Family and so many." How to do it right Well, those who've aced this game of choice fatigue say that the trick is to not decide what to watch after sitting in front of your TV. They indeed treat it like a chore, and the trick is to prep in advance. Know what you want to watch before switching on your device. Director Ram Madhvani says, 'How do I decide what to watch? Well, I track recommendations from international newspapers like The New York Times to understand what's trending and what's interesting. Then I make a note of it in the Notes app on my phone. I also recommend interesting films and shows to friends and family.' Kriti Kharbanda says, 'I watch everything. In fact, in a script what works and what doesn't work I get to understand by watching both good and bad shows. It's like my film school and I'd recommend it to everyone.' Megha Marthak, who is in her 20s and works in restoration, says, 'With so many options across streaming platforms and an endless list of films and shows, choosing what to watch can be daunting. But I don't browse aimlessly - I keep a small list of films and shows recommended by friends, critics, or festivals. Depending on how I'm feeling, I'll pick something. For me, it's not about watching everything - it's about choosing well and enjoying it. ' Facts - Netflix's research showed that subscribers sometimes don't want to search through its library of shows and films to find something new to watch. So it rolled out a feature - Play Something - that starts playing a television show or movie. - Streaming platforms like Amazon Prime and Disney+ have adjusted user interfaces for Top Picks, What's Trending, and curated rows. They also include design tweaks to showcase Oscar picks, film festival favourites, new releases, and genre-wise classification - all to keep you from leaving the platform.
