Shoppers rush to B&M to find 'rare' Cadbury chocolate only available in Australia

Daily Mail01-05-2025

Shoppers are rushing to B&M to get their hands on a 'rare' Australian chocolate bar that has recently made available in the UK - but not everyone is convinced by the 'bizarre' flavour.
The budget retailer is now stocking varieties of Cadbury 's Marvellous Creations which is normally only found Down Under.
The chocolate bar has been spied by customers in two flavours; dream raspberry and cola fizz.
Inside the cola fizz bar are cola-flavoured jellies, fizzy candy chips and popping candy.
The Dream bar has raspberry-flavoured candy chips, raspberry jellies and popping candy all in creamy white chocolate.
Marvellous Creations chocolate bars are available in a few UK supermarkets in the original Jelly Popping Candy variety however the cola and raspberry flavours are a rarity.
Foodies online were delighted by the delicious drop with many customers claiming Marvellous Creations is their 'favourite chocolate'.
'That's my fave chocolate bar and I love cola-flavoured things so I bet I'd love that,' one woman said.

'I might do a taste test between the UK version vs the Australian version,' another wrote.
'That dream bar with raspberry chunks sounds naughty,' added a third.
'I guess it would be a bit like the jelly, popping candy bar they do? Except with Cola. Hmmm might have to keep an eye out for this,' someone replied.
But the unique flavours proved divisive and some were sceptical about the 'strange' sweet treat.
'Ok this needs to be tried! Because cola and chocolate I'm not suuurree,' one shopper said.
'I don't know how I feel about this,' a second agreed.
'Might get stick for this but Marvellous Creations is probably the worst thing Dairy Milk have ever come out with,' confessed another.
'Sweepings off the floor. Terrible idea,' someone quipped.
A B&M worker chimed in to remind customers not all stores will get Marvellous Creations delivered at the same time and some might have to wait until they are in stock at their nearest location.
They also pointed out some smaller stores may not stock the Aussie confectionery at all.

Two Singapore restaurants are named in the World's 50 Best Restaurants 51-100 extended list for 2025

Every year, we wait in anticipation for the announcement of the World's 50 Best Restaurants to see which establishments from Singapore make it onto this world-acclaimed list. It's never really a matter of 'if', but 'how many'; After all, eating is one of the top pastimes of Singaporeans and our city is brimming with such a diverse line-up of cuisines and dining venues – the perfect representation of the multi-culturalism that we're known for. Ahead of the official announcement of the top 50 on June 19, 2025, the World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 extended list of 51 to 100 has just been revealed, and two from this Lion City have been named: modern Australian-style BBQ restaurant Burnt Ends (#93), and Labyrinth (#97) which prides itself on its 'new Singaporean cuisine'. Both Burnt Ends and Labyrinth are no stranger to the World's 50 Best Restaurants list, having emerged at 68th and 92nd place respectively in last year's extended list. Admittedly, this is quite a drop for Burnt Ends in particular, both one-Michelin-star holders will have to work a little harder to maintain their top 100 placings in next year's edition of this food award ranking. This year sees one less Singapore-based dining establishment on the 51 to 100 extended list, with Meta (#95 in 2024) making a disappearance. This can only mean one thing: It's either been bumped up to the top 50, or fallen off the list entirely. Only time will tell. Last year, only one restaurant from Singapore made the top 50 ranking: Odette, one of the two long-standing F&B tenants at the National Gallery that remains after its refresh. The other five, which include rooftop bar Smoke & Mirrors and Cantonese restaurant Yan, have since made a sad exit from the museum. Odette was crowned the Best Restaurant in Asia in 2023's awards. We'll be eagerly waiting to see if it remains in the top 50 global placings this year, and whether any other of our favourite restaurants will be joining the party.
