Clarkson's Farm star Harriet Cowan hits back at 'fake' claims with four-word response

Clarkson's Farm star Harriet Cowan has hit back at the show's "fake" claims with a four-word response.
The 24-year-old nurse and farmhand filled in for Kaleb Cooper in the fourth series of the hit Prime Video series.
She admitted to Jeremy Clarkson upon her arrival at Diddly Squat Farm that she hadn't watched an episode of the show.
"Well, you know on YouTube you get those 'shorts' where it's like funny moments? I've seen them. I ain't got time to watch all that," Cowan explained to the ex-Top Gear host.
She later clarified the authenticity of this exchange while chatting with Emily Clarkson on the podcast, Should I Delete That?, confirming: "It is so real".
Emily, aged 30, queried: "Do you ever sit down with your boyfriend and chill together, or eat together? It sounds impossible."
Harriet replied: "No, no. In the trailer where it's like, 'Have you watched Clarkson's Farm before?' And I'm like, 'No', it looked so fake," reports the Express.
"But it is so real because we don't watch telly. Literally, if we watch something, James will sit down, his head will hit the back of the sofa and he's asleep because the second he can rest, he'll sleep, because he's so tired all the time."
Harriet was brought onto the show by Jeremy, aged 65, after Kaleb took a break from the 1,000-acre Oxfordshire farm to embark on his tour, The World According to Kaleb.
In an upcoming preview, Jeremy shared: "I want to make it plain that I am absolutely thrilled to bits for Kaleb, but he has left me just a little bit in the lurch."
With speculation amongst fans that Harriet's involvement might signal a long-term absence for Kaleb, Jeremy has stepped in to allay those fears.
"There's been lots of reports that Kaleb has been 'replaced' - well, no he hasn't," Jeremy assured his followers.
"What happened is this: he went away on his speaking tour for a couple of months because he imagined that after four years I'd be able to manage on my own."
He continued: "And I didn't - I made a complete mess of everything and had to bring in a young farmer called Harriet. Harriet is brilliant and looked after the fort until he got back. That is it - that's the story!"

Lou Teasdale says she dumped Andy Carroll despite claims he ended things

Influencer Lou Teasdale has denied reports that former England striker Andy Carroll broke up with her, claiming instead that she was the one to end the relationship. The split comes just over a year after the pair began dating and a few weeks after reports that they were questioned twice by police in Greece following heated rows during a Mykonos getaway. Carroll, 36, has now unfollowed Teasdale, 41, on social media and removed all photos of her from his Instagram. This comes after previous rumours that Carroll was set to propose to Teasdale. According to a source quoted in The Sun, the ex-Liverpool and Newcastle forward had grown frustrated with Teasdale's 'influencer lifestyle' and constant social media posting. 'He told her it was over this week. He's single now,' the insider said. But it seems like things might not be that simple. A conflicting source told the Daily Mail: 'It was Lou who ended her relationship with Andy, she walked away a few days ago, it was very much her choice to end their romance. 'She isn't interested in pointing the finger or blaming him and hoped to deal with their split in private, before he blocked her on Instagram and deleted their photos together. 'Lou is very upset by how everything has played out and the arguments between them were especially difficult for her to go through. 'However, Andy wants Lou back and flew to Ibiza via private jet on Tuesday just to find her, even though he has no idea where she's staying. 'He will think it's a romantic gesture but for Lou, she's unimpressed and just wants to be away with her family, she's not interested in any of his attempts at a reconciliation. 'All she has done all year is love and support Andy, her feelings haven't gone away, but Lou has to protect herself now and ending the relationship is the only way to move forward.' The couple's relationship had appeared solid as recently as late July, when they were seen together at an Oasis concert. But their Greek holiday weeks earlier told a different story. Witnesses say the first argument erupted at the Nikolus Tavern, where Carroll allegedly appeared drunk and was overheard swearing at Teasdale. Police were called, but allowed him to leave after speaking privately. Later that night, officers were reportedly called again to their hotel amid claims of property damage, with staff alleging a door was broken. According to The Daily Mail, Carroll was taken to the police station for questioning, but he was not arrested, and no further action was taken. Teasdale left the hotel and stayed elsewhere for the night. Both Carroll and Teasdale downplayed the incidents at the time, describing the restaurant row as 'a private disagreement' blown out of proportion and insisting no one was arrested or charged. The incident was confirmed by a hotel employee, who claimed Carroll broke the door. A joint statement from the couple given to The Sun said: 'Whilst having a private dinner in a restaurant on a quiet holiday in Mykonos, we had a heated discussion of the sort that most couples have had on occasion. It quickly became apparent to the police that there was no reason for them to be there. 'We went outside the restaurant with them together as they insisted they wanted to 'look after' us. 'As far as we are concerned, the situation has been blown out of all proportion by an interested member of the public. No one was arrested and no one was charged with anything. We are very happy, in love and looking forward to our future together and we are disappointed that a private disagreement has become a public matter.' Carroll's return to the UK last month with National League side Dagenham & Redbridge marks the end of a two-year stint in France. Friends say he now wants to focus on football and his five children, three of whom he shares with ex-wife Billi Mucklow. Carroll confirmed his separation from Towie star Mucklow last September. After nearly 10 years together, Carroll and Mucklow tied the knot in 2022, but the former couple split last year after a turbulent marriage, which had already survived a near-scandal in 2022 when Carroll was photographed asleep next to two women during his stag party. More Trending On the day that the news of Carroll's separation from Teasdale broke, Mucklow took to social media to show she was all smiles in a brown bikini while on holiday with her family. A source told Metro in April that rumours of Carroll's possible engagement to Teasdale were not surprising to Mucklow: 'Billi isn't surprised that Andy is rushing down the aisle again. Her marriage to him didn't last very long and he moved on so quickly with Lou that nothing he does is surprising to her anymore. 'Her main focus will always be the children and moving on with her own life.' View More » Once Britain's most expensive footballer after his £35 million move to Liverpool in 2011, Carroll's personal life has often made more headlines than his career in recent years.
