Lou Teasdale says she dumped Andy Carroll despite claims he ended things
The split comes just over a year after the pair began dating and a few weeks after reports that they were questioned twice by police in Greece following heated rows during a Mykonos getaway.
Carroll, 36, has now unfollowed Teasdale, 41, on social media and removed all photos of her from his Instagram. This comes after previous rumours that Carroll was set to propose to Teasdale.
According to a source quoted in The Sun, the ex-Liverpool and Newcastle forward had grown frustrated with Teasdale's 'influencer lifestyle' and constant social media posting.
'He told her it was over this week. He's single now,' the insider said.
But it seems like things might not be that simple.
A conflicting source told the Daily Mail: 'It was Lou who ended her relationship with Andy, she walked away a few days ago, it was very much her choice to end their romance.
'She isn't interested in pointing the finger or blaming him and hoped to deal with their split in private, before he blocked her on Instagram and deleted their photos together.
'Lou is very upset by how everything has played out and the arguments between them were especially difficult for her to go through.
'However, Andy wants Lou back and flew to Ibiza via private jet on Tuesday just to find her, even though he has no idea where she's staying.
'He will think it's a romantic gesture but for Lou, she's unimpressed and just wants to be away with her family, she's not interested in any of his attempts at a reconciliation.
'All she has done all year is love and support Andy, her feelings haven't gone away, but Lou has to protect herself now and ending the relationship is the only way to move forward.'
The couple's relationship had appeared solid as recently as late July, when they were seen together at an Oasis concert.
But their Greek holiday weeks earlier told a different story. Witnesses say the first argument erupted at the Nikolus Tavern, where Carroll allegedly appeared drunk and was overheard swearing at Teasdale.
Police were called, but allowed him to leave after speaking privately. Later that night, officers were reportedly called again to their hotel amid claims of property damage, with staff alleging a door was broken.
According to The Daily Mail, Carroll was taken to the police station for questioning, but he was not arrested, and no further action was taken.
Teasdale left the hotel and stayed elsewhere for the night.
Both Carroll and Teasdale downplayed the incidents at the time, describing the restaurant row as 'a private disagreement' blown out of proportion and insisting no one was arrested or charged.
The incident was confirmed by a hotel employee, who claimed Carroll broke the door.
A joint statement from the couple given to The Sun said: 'Whilst having a private dinner in a restaurant on a quiet holiday in Mykonos, we had a heated discussion of the sort that most couples have had on occasion. It quickly became apparent to the police that there was no reason for them to be there.
'We went outside the restaurant with them together as they insisted they wanted to 'look after' us.
'As far as we are concerned, the situation has been blown out of all proportion by an interested member of the public. No one was arrested and no one was charged with anything. We are very happy, in love and looking forward to our future together and we are disappointed that a private disagreement has become a public matter.'
Carroll's return to the UK last month with National League side Dagenham & Redbridge marks the end of a two-year stint in France.
Friends say he now wants to focus on football and his five children, three of whom he shares with ex-wife Billi Mucklow.
Carroll confirmed his separation from Towie star Mucklow last September.
After nearly 10 years together, Carroll and Mucklow tied the knot in 2022, but the former couple split last year after a turbulent marriage, which had already survived a near-scandal in 2022 when Carroll was photographed asleep next to two women during his stag party. More Trending
On the day that the news of Carroll's separation from Teasdale broke, Mucklow took to social media to show she was all smiles in a brown bikini while on holiday with her family.
A source told Metro in April that rumours of Carroll's possible engagement to Teasdale were not surprising to Mucklow: 'Billi isn't surprised that Andy is rushing down the aisle again. Her marriage to him didn't last very long and he moved on so quickly with Lou that nothing he does is surprising to her anymore.
'Her main focus will always be the children and moving on with her own life.'

Once Britain's most expensive footballer after his £35 million move to Liverpool in 2011, Carroll's personal life has often made more headlines than his career in recent years.

Brooks Nader poked fun of a recent X-rated wardrobe malfunction she suffered during a ritzy yacht trip. The 28-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model took to her Instagram Stories over the weekend to share footage from the getaway, where she wore a plunging tight white dress. At one point her dress slipped down, exposing her chest. However, Brooks laughed it off putting two star emojis to cover her nipples, and shared the video anyway. The blonde bombshell — who also suffered a wild outfit malfunction in July — completed her sizzling look with a chunky gold Chanel choker and another matching chain. Her golden hair was shielded with a straw cowboy hat, and her eyes covered with sunglasses. Another image showed her with relaxing on the boat with pal Zach Zumbusch, whom she called her 'bestie for life.' Brooks Nader, 28, poked fun of a recent X-rated wardrobe malfunction she suffered during a ritzy yacht trip as she share footage from the getaway to her Instagram over the weekend The star also shared more dressed-up snaps from another night on the yacht. On Saturday, she posted photos of herself in a sizzling blue corset dress from Italian designer Ermanno Scervino. She accessorized the eye-catching look with a cowboy hat featuring a beaded fringe. It comes after the star suffered yet another wardrobe malfunction while attending the 2025 ESPY Awards in July. Brooks sizzled on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood in a plunging cream silk dress. However, the low-cut design unfortunately ended with her revealing a bit too much. The braless star suffered a mishap as her dress pulled to the side, resulting in a nip slip. The model was pictured fixing the issue as she adjusted the neckline with both her hands. Later she was seen holding her dress in place while walking onto the stage alongside Joey Logano. The incident comes after Brooks also encountered a wardrobe malfunction at Wimbledon, when her menstrual cycle began, causing bleeding that became visible on her white skirt. The mishap resulted in her getting a partnership with a tampon brand. The star also shared more dressed-up snaps from another night on the yacht. On Saturday, she posted photos of herself in a sizzling blue corset dress She accessorized the eye-catching look with a cowboy hat featuring a beaded fringe The star stuck to the themes of summertime and tennis, slipping into a white skirt for the world-famous tournament. But while she was in public, her period started and she bled through the fabric, with stains visible along the back of the skirt. She laughed off the snafu on TikTok, posting a video of herself getting confidently up from a table only for her sisters to start cringing at her. At that point Brooks turned around and the shot ran down the length of her outfit, so that the stains were in clear view on camera. Bec Judd offers to sell her luxe Melbourne mansion for a staggering $70m
Bec Judd has named the price it would take to sell her family home in Melbourne's Brighton. The AFL WAG took to social media on Sunday to share an image from the lavish property she shares with husband Chris, and their four children. In the accompanying caption, the 42-year-old revealed the eye-watering amount it would take her family to relocate from the desirable bayside property. 'No, we are not selling. But if somebody wants to pay 10 times market rates, then sure, it's all yours,' she wrote. Bec and Chris moved into the $7.3million mansion in December 2019. They have since conducted extensive renovation work on the property, increasing its value, including installing an extra bedroom and rumpus room. The power couple originally purchased the sprawling house in March 2018, and commenced a complete makeover before moving in. A gallery of photos shared to Instagram showed the backyard pool area under construction. After building was completed, the space was transformed into an entertainment oasis, with rendered rock, a magnesium pool and an outdoor kitchen. Other improvements on the lavish property include replacing the mansion's aesthetic and apricot colour palette with stylish greys and blacks, adding modern touches like gold brass fittings, marble and steel doors. The couple kept the home's defining architectural feature, its arches, and used this shape as a theme throughout the interior. Also inside the home is a gym, and a wet bar complete with a snooker table. Highlights include an ensuite bathroom featuring a giant arch-shaped mirror that reflects the Spanish colonial architecture. The influencer's fondness for gold brass fittings, black frames and marble continues in the bathrooms. 'No, we are not selling. But if somebody wants to pay 10 times market rates, then sure, it's all yours,' she wrote Bec and Chris share four children; daughter Billie, 11, son Oscar, 14, and twins Darcy and Tom, nine. It follows reports the pair sold their beautiful renovated Mornington Peninsula property, which was listed on the market for $2.85million to $3million. In May, Bec and Chris finalised the sale of the stunning property for an undisclosed sum. Marshall White Stonnington director Ben Veith oversaw the sale and told the Judds were happy with the process, labelling it a 'good result'. He added Bec had had significant input into the renovation process of the beloved property: 'This was genuinely designed by Bec, and it speaks for itself.' They first purchased the Arthur's Seat property in 2016 and spent several years turning the 1970s-built brick house into a family retreat, with the help of The Melbourne Builder & Co.
